• A BELATED WELCOME: Joshua’s new assistant Glendalis Gonzalez started this February. Please make her feel welcome as the
newest member of the BK team. FYI her birthday is Nov 14.

• Feb 27&28 Joshua will be out of the building ALL DAY for Admin training.

• FYI - FIXED PD TIMES: While the PD Design Team create new PD structures the time blocks will be: 70 minutes on Wednesdays,
Friday’s LUNCH will be EXTENDED to one hour & Friday PD time will be 1:30-3:35. Please be on time to meetings.

• REPEAT+CORRECTION: Yaletza rejoined staff after maternity leave on Feb. 4. Her new son’s name is JALEN not, as previously
reported, Jaylen - however, they are both still happy and healthy!

• 2nd Floor Technology Update: Bethany will be using one set of laptop carts on the 2nd Floor every 3rd Period for the
foreseeable future, and also that teachers need to see RICKY if they wish to use the laptop cart on the 2nd Floor

•HEADS UP! Many visitors will continue to come by BK in the upcoming months for various reasons. Sometimes, due to the nature
of these visitors’ schedules we can’t always give the kind of advance notice some might like. To those ends it is important to
remember your classroom is a public space and you should always be putting your best pedagogical foot forward every day
with or without an outside observer. COMING SOON: a visit from the Council of School Supervisors and Administrators President
Ernie Logan. Date and time TBA.
