WEDNESDAY: GRADE TEAM MEETING #1 AGENDA 3:40-4:50 TOTAL RUNNING TIME: 70 minutes
For the first 40 minutes members of the PD Design Team will re-introduce the UC Santa Cruz Continuum of Professional
Development. Representatives will explain how teachers will use the continuum to self-assess and select observation lenses and
goals. In the remaining time Grade Teams can continue doing work on student learning & engagement.

REMINDERS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

• MOCK SQR TUESDAY, MARCH 18 - ALL DAY!!! The Network Team will accompany Josh, Ryan and Steph to all classrooms for
15-minute visits during the course of the day. The goal is to see everyone in action for at least 10-15 minutes so please have your
curriculum binders and SQR visit folders prepared.

• MARCH 12&13 “A HAPPENING CONNECTOR” WITH 11th GRADE: Come visit the Civil Rights Past and Present Seminar in
Kyle’s room 209 during 2/3rd and 5/6th both days. Please see the iCal notes for more details about this Social Studies and ELA
event!

• MARCH 19: NO FULL STAFF MEETING, the first Banana Kelly Wolverines Baseball Game & UFT “Keep the Promises” March.

• MARCH 27: Bob Moses, famed civil rights activist, MacArthur Fellow and founder of the Algebra Project will be visiting the BK.

• TEACHERS CHOICE: All purchases for Teachers Choice must be completed by March 15th. SAVE ALL RECEIPTS. ATTACH THEM
TO ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT located on-line and submit them to Michelle by March 30th.

• FYI - FIXED PD TIMES: While the PD Design Team creates new PD structures we do know that the time blocks for the remainder
of the year will be: 70 minutes on Wednesdays, Friday’s LUNCH will be EXTENDED to one hour & Friday PD time will be 1:30-
3:35. Please be on time to meetings.

• ALL STAFF/TEACHERS MUST SIGN IN AT 312 WHEN THEY ENTER BUILDING. Sign-in sheet will be collected by Joshua at 9:30
AM Daily.
