WEDNESDAY: FULL STAFF DYO MEETING - NORM & Grade 3:40-4:50 TOTAL RUNNING TIME: 70 minutes
In room 211: DYO team leaders Andi Brown and Lance Ozier will, with the help of the ELA team, lead the full staff in a DYO norming
activity for the second school wide DYO assessment. Bring your brains and a grading utensil of your choice.

FRIDAY A&B: STAFF DYO MEETING/ Grading3 1:30-3:30 TOTAL RUNNING TIME: 120 minutes
In room 211: DYO team leaders Andi Brown and Lance Ozier will, with the help of the ELA team, will continue Wednesday’s work
grading DYOs. They will also begin discussions on how the DYO data can inform school wide literacy instruction. Again, bring your
brains and a grading utensil of your choice.
NOTE1: PD Design Team Members (Emily, Gail, Annie, René and Ryan) will be out at a 1:30-4:30 meeting.

• CONGRATS AND THANK YOUS from Margarita, Malinda, DJ, Josh & Steph to the whole staff for their hard work and effort that
made parent teacher conferences such a big success.

Meet the next Lewis Robinson (whose science fair project made a large
splash in Disney’s Meet the Robinsons) Friday April 18! The 9th and
10th grade science students will be hosting a science fair first through fifth
periods. More details to follow next week.

Judges (like the gym teacher on the left) are needed. See Carly for
more details.

• UNITED PLAYERS DANCE this Friday, April 11th 7-11pm.

• FYI : 11th Grade Students & Staff will be out of the building on a full grade Ramapo retreat Wednesday April 15th.

• THIS WEEK’S VISITOR! The Tiger Foundation Thursday April 10.

• April 19th is National Youth Service Day and Amelia and the UP team are painting murals in our school with the help of City
Year. All students and staff and families are invited. 9am-2pm.

• Power School needs to be updated and accurate before you leave for
Spring Break on April 18. This is the halfway point for MP2. At 3:30 that afternoon all Power School Grades will
be checked in. This is being done to make sure we are tracking student progress and grades and having this data collected and
utilized is essential for upcoming events. That week Friday B’s PD session has been left open for you
to do Powerschool updates. If you have not updated power school logs before break letters will be written to file.

• INTERNET ISSUES? Please report any issues relating to internet access to Angel ASAP. For more information see Angel’s 3.25
email titled “Wireless Internet.”
