Navamsha (9th divisional chart) is most important, relates to 9th house
Rashi is tree, Navamsha is fruit
Blessings from our past life that will reach fruition in this life
Atma karaka is most important in this chart, one of the first things to look at
In every divisional chart, see house significator, sign ruler from rashi, house in that chart

consciousness/soul

From 7th house for partners/marriage
Position of lagna lord from rashi
9th lord from rashi
Jupiter (significator of Navamsha)
Vargottama planets (same sign in rashi/navamsha) blesses you with skills. Karma that is
waiting to sprout.
Navakkari chakra is reversed in Namvamsha (Shreem is 1st house, Om is 7th from AK)
TRINES If in lagna = natural ability
If in 5th house = has to work at it
If in 9th house = need a teachers guidance
.

If benefic planets occupy the Kraka and Lagna, then they will
definitely cause rjayoga.

kaivalyam (liberation)
The moka trikoa are the fourth, eighth and twelfth houses
Natural fourth is Cancer showing the river or flow and indicates
the spiritual path
Natural twelfth is Pisces and shows the goal or final objective of
the river/spiritual path. (the feet, lotus feet, Param padam)
Eighth house shows nija doa (own failings) and Rudra which is
the suffering and forgiveness we seek. Therefore eighth house is
excluded from list

every planet is welcome, even a debilitated Rahu. The path is clear. If 12th from AK is the same in D-9 and D60, you have continued worship from past life.
Shows where the soul is going, how many strings that need to be cut to become liberated. Ketu is best here.
The sound for cutting the string is strim (if married) and trim (if not married) OM aim klim strim
Om ensures you are taken to satya loka

so placed and only aspected or joined benefics, final
emancipation (from the cycle of rebirth) shall be obtained.

Six Paramitas (perfections)


Bodhichitta in Practice
GENEROSITY- If you wish for enlightenment, you
must give of your own body, not to mention other
things such as wealth and material possessions. You
should give with unceasing generosity, without any
hope of repayment. This is the way of Bodhisattva
practice.
DISCIPLINE - If, lacking moral discipline (shila) you
cannot achieve even your own benefit, to think of
benefiting others is simply a joke. Therefore guard
your moral discipline, staying free from worldly
purpose. This is the way of Bodhisattva practice.

PATIENCE - For the Bodhisattva who desires the wealth of


virtue, those who harm him are like a precious treasure.
Therefore, meditate on forbearance without hating anyone.
This is the way of Bodhisattva practice.
DILIGENCE - Acting only in their own self-interest, the
Sravakas and Pratyeka-Buddhas exert themselves as though
extinguishing fires on their own heads. How much more
then should the Bodhisattva undertake to practice diligence,
the source of all qualities which serve to benefit others.
This is the way of Bodhisattva practice.

CONCENTRATION -Understand that through higher


insight (lhag-thong), founded on tranquility (shinay), conflicting emotions are utterly destroyed.
For this reason, you should practice concentration
that transcends even the four formless realms. This
is the way of Bodhisattva practice.

WISDOM - In the absence of discriminating wisdom


(the sixth perfection), the remaining five
perfections, cannot bring one to enlightenment.
Using skillful methods, and remaining free of the
concepts of subject, object, and action, meditate
on the perfection of wisdom. This is the way of
Bodhisattva practice.

Pema Lungtok Gyatso on Tonglen


For the daily practice, imagine that you are surrounded by all sentient
beings of the six classes, who are gathered in human form, tormented
by their suffering in a pitiful state. Think that your happiness and
virtue is sent to them along with your breath just as before. Once
again, receive their negativity and misery just like before. In your
heart, the self-cherishing attitude abides in the aspect of a scorpion,
and all of their suffering then strikes it. Like a feather incinerated by
fire, think that the scorpion is completely removed.
(Tonglen) also constitutes being the practice of the six paramitas
because sending happiness and virtue amounts to generosity;
receiving negativity and suffering, to patience; when doing so,
guarding from self -cherishing and personal interests is discipline;
taking joy in these deeds is diligence; single pointedly concentrating
upon this is concentration; and precisely knowing how to engage in
this practice is prajna (wisdom)
