Academic Projects

Web Development: Developed and designed a website from scratch. The website was about 8 pages.
It included paragraphs, tables, lists, navigation menus, and forms. These forms had to be validated,
using JavaScript, before they were submitted to the server. Among other things, this assignment
required the use and understanding of: HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.

C++-Programming: Developed a program to validate EAN numbers. Given a number from the user, it
had to be validated to make sure it followed the EAN number requirements. If it was valid, the number
was broken up into its individual parts: area, publisher, and title. Among other things, this assignment
required the use and understanding of: classes, constructors, global and member functions,
encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, and reading and writing to/from files.

Academic Projects (contd)

Database (SQL): Developed SQL queries to replicate data from a table, manipulate it, and create
different views following the assignment requirements. Among other things, this assignment required
the use and understanding of: constraints; primary keys, foreign keys, check and unique; creating and
dropping tables; creating views; and joins.
