- Never let your reader know of your ignorance. (Dont say exclusively men, simply
included men.
- Be sure to check the text for evidence. (If both text explanations say the farms are
producing sugar, then it is okay to say that sugar is a similarity.)
- Look into elusive clues - i.e. Queen Elizabeth is wearing a dress, which says she is
abiding to female social norms.

- i.e. Does the leader have a voice? (What would the Prime Minister of Britain provide
you in order to properly answer the question?) Does a woman have a voice? (Does a
womans voice matter in this conversation?) Do you have the most average person?
