MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

Know All Men by These Presents:

This Memorandum of Agreement made and executed by and between:
FATHER SATURNINO URIOS UNIVERSITY, a duly licensed Catholic Educational Institution with
principal office address at San Francisco Street, Butuan City represented by the Dean of the Accountancy
Program, Dr. Evangeline P. Jamili, CPA, hereinafter referred to as the FSUU.

hereinafter referred to as the TRAINER COMPANY;
WITNESSETH: That

WHEREAS, FSUU is a private institution offering BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ACCOUNTING

TECHNOLOGY (BSAT);
WHEREAS, The FSUU Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology has 200 hours of Supervised
Industry Training (SIT) every Summer for students who are to be trained by experts in different areas of
Accounting and/or Audit;
WHEREAS, FSUU is presently in need of partner establishments that could further enhance the
necessary knowledge, skills and experience of its students taking up BS Accounting Technology course;
WHEREAS, THE TRAINER COMPANY allows/agrees that the BS in AT students of FSUU
conduct/perform the training in their office/establishment;
WHEREFOR, in consideration of the foregoing premises and stipulations, the parties referred herein
affirm to strengthen the partnership in enhancing the necessary knowledge, skills, values and attitude of students
taking BS Accounting Technology course, specially, in the conduct of Supervised Industry Training (SIT) every
Summer;
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
FSUU shall:
1. Assign

( ) BS Accounting Technology students to:

a. have the opportunity to observe, learn, and do Accounting and/or Audit related tasks in a real work
setting;
b. produce and present a paper containing their observations and recommendations to the management
of the Trainer Company and FSUU Accountancy Program;
c. work part-time in establishments on off-class session as an apprentice;
d. report for weekly conference in the school at scheduled time;
a. Monitor the performance of the trainee during the entire period of Internship.
b. Provide necessary technical assistance to the students and coordinate with the manager of the Practicum
Company while they are on training.
c. Ensure that trainees complies the necessary requirements set by the FSUU Accountancy Program and
the Trainer Company.
d. Ensure confidentiality of trainer company information gathered by the student trainees.

Trainer Company

( ) BS Accounting Technology students of FSUU and provide them with

relevant work experience aligned with ACCOUNTING and/or AUDIT.
Provide the necessary guidance and technical assistance in all activities to be undertaken by the trainees
relative to the implementation of specified functions.
Confer regularly with the Student Trainee regarding the problems encountered and the progress made
during the training period.
Provide periodic feedback directly to the FSUU through the assigned Internship coordinator in order to
create a healthy relationship.
Notify the Practicum Professor to pull out ST for committing serious infraction of the company's /
industry's policies, rules and regulations. FSUU shall ensure that the STs are aware of and follows all
company rules and regulations, policies and procedures, particularly those affecting the training
activities, duly promulgated or to be promulgated by the institution.
Not be held liable of any unavoidable circumstances or untoward incident during the duration of the
training beyond the control of the FSUU or TRAINER COMPANY after having exercised proper
precaution and guidance.
Not give tasks or work loads that are not related to Accounting and/or Audit.
The trainer company is welcome to attend the presentation of written output and participate in the panel
discussion or in the validation process.

Date of Effectivity, Renewal, Amendments, and/or Termination

This agreement shall take effect immediately upon signing of this document by the parties concerned and shall
remain in force until
. Renewal shall be on 3 YEAR basis as agreed by the parties concerned.
Amendment or termination will be done anytime upon the mutual consent of both parties.
