T.A.S. is specialised in the manufacture and

sale of replacement spare parts, such as
bull gears, crown wheel and pinion sets
(with straight or helical teeth), synchroniser
assemblies with molybdenum or carbon
coating, shafts, main drive gears and other
components, suitable for transmissions
and differentials of light-duty vehicles,
trucks, buses, agricultural tractors and
earthmoving machinery.
These items are heat-treated where
required and may be subjected to special
processes, such as Shot-Peening, Sulf BT
and corrosion proofing.

T.A.S. products are totally interchangeable

with the genuine parts, as they are made
to the same high quality standards,
utilising modern technology and thanks
to the continual specialisation of its staff.
The MADE IN ITALY nature of the parts
has been maintained with notable efforts.

Through a meticulous warehouse

management organisation, assisted by
sophisticated software based on the latest
technology, T.A.S. is able to track every
product from the manufacturing stage
upto final shipment.
The company philosophy is founded on
principles of innovation and development,
which for T.A.S. is not limited to vast
investiments in technological equipment.
In fact, T.A.S. goes beyond and aims at
the research and increase of managerial
and operational activities, to ensure rapid
responses to the demands as they arise
from the various markets.

The professional profile of the staff

consents the management and control
of the entire manufacturing process,
commencing from the first planning stage
upto the last stage of final testing, which
comprises certificates relating to the
chemical analysis of the material utilised ,
as well as to the heat-treatment.
T.A.S. makes use of ZEISS tri-dimensional
systems and equipment suitable for
the various measuring requirements. In
addition to this, mating tests are constantly
performed utilising original parts to
guarantee the quality required by the
customers.

T.A.S. has purchased modern tri-lateral

forklifts on which computers are
mounted and connected to the warehouse
management software which, assisted by
bar-code technology, guide the operator
in the selection and collection of the items
required. In the packing department the
staff are also equipped with computers and
bar-code readers which identify the parts
to be packed and trace their movements
until they are deposited in the shipping
carton. All this is constantly monitored in
real time. Thanks to this system, T.A.S. is
in a position to effect despatch within
one working day from the receipt of an
order.

T.A.S. was founded in Naples in the

aftermath of World War II thanks to the
ingenuity and intuition of Gino Coppola.
In his vision, which was resolutely
pursued over the years and today is
vigorously re-affirmed by his children
Silvio and Mercedes, the company was
to establish itself on the international
market, not merely as a supplier of
mechanical spare parts, but also as an
Italian manufacturer catering for the
automotive aftermarket. To this end,
whilst maintaining its registered office
and main commercial and administrative

departments in Naples, T.A.S. invested

in the acquisition of two plants in the
Bologna area, which is the heart of the
light mechanical industry in Italy.
Until today, T.A.S. has commercialised
products for over 100 different makes.
The turnover figures and high quality
products speak for themselves. Although
already one of the leading companies in
its field, T.A.S. continues in its search for
suitable items to update its range, as well
as for additional accessory parts, such as
bearings, gaskets and repair kits.
