Mayurasana Both palms on the ground, elbows are placed on respective sides of nabhi
and the body is raised in the air like a stick.

Pacification of Mind with Asana
ShavasanaLie on ground supine with legs apart and palms folded on chest, gaze at nose and
meditate on Shiva

Simhasana Ankles are placed under the scrotum on both sides of the perineum, crossed,
palms on knees, spread fingers and open mouth wide, gaze at the nose

Bhadrasana Ankles are placed on either side of the perineum crossed, hold the feet with
hands.

Virasana Place one foot on opposite thigh, the other under the opposite thigh

Gives mental stability, enthusiasm, stamina. Removes diseases.


Kurmasana press anus w/ both ankles everted, keep knees on floor.

Prasaritasana turn face upwards in a saluting pose, one hand widely sread out under the
head like a pillow.
Padmassana (saroruha) place upturned fet on thighs. Place hands upturned btw thighs
and gaze at nose. Raise chest up and fixing the chin press the root of the teeth w/ the
tongue.
Removes disorders due to humors, fever, burning acid, makes prana move smoothly.
After a meal chew cardamom, sit in padmasana to digest well
Firmly adopt padmasana and fold hands, firmly press chin to chest, meditate on Supreme
Reality. Move prana and apana up and down with inhale and exhale. One attains higher
conciousness and awakens kundalini.
Ambujasana raise up apana to capacity and suck prana in and retain it. Retain to
capacity then exhale in a sustained manner.
Alleviates diseases
Baddha Padmassana Right foot on L thigh, L foot on R thigh, grab big toes binding the
arms around back. Chin to chest and gaze at nose. Fill with air through nostrils and retain.
Alleviates Vata and Kapha fever
Siddhasana Press the L heel against perineum and put the other foot over genitals. Gaze
btw Eye brows (shambavi mudra),
Controls senses
Yonyasana Sit in Siddhasana, contract the pelvic region repeatedly
Controls Apana
Pashcimatanasana Both legs out stretched on ground. Big toes are held in hands, fore
head to knees.
Prana to pass through the posterior path, Agni, belly, raises pitta from stomach to
head and frees from thirst, hunger, old age, and such disorders. Removes morbidity so it
removes excess belly. Alleviates doshas and disoders of the body, purifies nadis.

Removes inflammation, Ama, indigestion, dropsy, controls prana and stimulates gasric
fire.
Swasitkasana Place both soles of feet between thighs and calves.
Removes disorders of Prana, fatigue, anxiety, brings mental peace and happiness.
