Our Key note speaker, David Hutton, has broad knowledge of the international
business arena. He has lived in four countries and managed business entities in
three of them. He has travelled extensively. From parts sourcing in Hong Kong to
distribution agreements in Paris, his experience spans the globe.
David has managed organisations with as many as 850 employees and as few as
four. David Hutton combines a Ph.D. in Computer Science with experience as CEO
of a public, NASDAQ-listed, technology company and GM of a major division of a
member of the Fortune 500. Born in England, his international background includes
running the three US-based subsidiaries of a Japanese corporation.

The classic movie “ 12 O'Clock High,” is probably the most influential movie used in
management training. This is a consequence of the movie's remarkable portrayal of TEC members benefit from the
leadership styles. Leadership can be a difficult topic to fully grasp in a meeting room ultimate combination of:
environment. This highly interactive, “showing rather than telling” presentation,
explores leadership in a unique way. The movie is used as a case study. The group x Peer to Peer mentoring
will closely observe segments of the movie and analyse the behaviour of two key x One to One coaching
characters.
x Monthly speaker sessions
The presentation focuses on differing leadership behavioural emphases. The group
will critically evaluate two commanders with very different styles, then discuss the
effectiveness of the leadership behaviours demonstrated, and experience how an
effective leader adapts leadership emphasis to meet specific situations.

This program will enable you to:

evaluate your own natural leadership behaviour
improve your understanding of adaptive leadership behaviours
develop specific action plans to expand your range of leadership behaviours
