CV11 Create Document Bill Of Material (BOM)

Definition:Group of documents can be arranged as a document structure
through document BOM.
Objective
This document will explain how to create Document structure.
Document structure will help to find documents in a group.
create a Document BOM (Document structure), so that any
material list can be traced.
Initially Create a document with number as MATERIAL_LIST
and with type EXI with out any object and keep that document
in status IA only.
Then use that document as master documents to which attach
the other entire document as a BOM item as explained below.
Prerequisites:Document Info Record must be available.
Required authorization to view the document
Menu path
LogisticsProduction-->Master Data-->Bills of material-->Bill
of material-->Document Structure-->CV11 - Create
Double click Create

Screen will look as below where enter the details as explained

below.

must be entered

Type document type as EXI

Document Optional entry
Leave blank. System will

take 000 automatically.

Leave blank. System will

Press enter after entering the details as explained above.

Blank screen similar to BOM create screen will appear where
enter the document details as below and save.
Item category should D

To add the new documents as and when created through

change mode of the Document BOM, additional documents
can be added.
Menu Path to change the document BOM: LogisticsProduction Master Data Bills of material Bill
of material Document Structure Change
In this transaction, new document can be added as and when
it is created.

Note: - Change and Display of BOM is similar to the regular

BOM.
