Apoyo del desarrollo económico potenciando la competitividad

de la economía relacionada con la salud, incluyendo el apoyo
al “lead market” de la sanidad electrónica tal como está definido en
la Lead Market Initiative.

Objetivo general: apoyar la capacidad innovadora de las

industrias y empresas europeas relacionadas con la salud
(incluyendo hospitales), a la vez que se mejora la salud de los
ciudadanos europeos y se direccionan temas de salud global como
grandes enfermedades (cáncer, enfermedades cardiovasculares,
diabetes, obesidad, enfermedades crónicas o cerebrales) o
epidemias emergentes.

Todas las fases pueden ser cubiertas, desde la prevención al

diagnóstico, tratamiento (incluyendo nuevas terapias, productos
farmacéuticos y tecnologías médicas) y seguimiento. El
envejecimiento saludable o la salud infantil, incluyendo aspectos
nutricionales o el cuidado personalizado de la salud, también están
cubiertos.

Los proyectos deberían favorecer la aproximación innovadora y

multi-disciplinar, integrando por ejemplo nanotecnologías,
biotecnologías, investigación de nuevos (bio)materiales y
tecnologías de la información y comunicacion para la salud.

Actividades dirigidas a la clonación reproductiva humana, modificación intencionada

de la línea genómica, o creación de embriones humanos para investigación están
excluídos de la cobertura del 7PM

•Analisis e integración de las agendas de investigación de
los actores en los clusters regionales: directorio de la oferta y
demanda de RTD incluyendo análisis DAFO y de
complementaridades. Posibilidades de sinergias y oportunidades de
aprendizaje mutuo, estrategia de cooperacion internacional,
participacion de los stakeholders locales.

•Iniciativas para mejorar la integración: definición de un

Plan de Acción Conjunto: estrategia de desarrollo económico a
través de actividades de RTD en un sector concreto. Posibilidades
de sinergias.

•Medidas para la implementación del Plan de Acción Conjunto:

mentoring, cooperación internacional, diseminación y otras
actividades de apoyo a la implementación serán financiadas.

Expected impact:
•Desarrollar e integrar research-driven clusters en
Europa para promover el desarrollo económico
regional y su competitividad mundial en un tema
científico y tecnológico, facilitando la emergencia
de los lead markets;
•Producir una inversión en I+D+i a nivel regional
más efectiva a través de la definición e
implementación de estrategias regionales basadas
en las necesidades empresariales, que
mobilizarían fondos Europeos, nacionales and
regionales y promoverían las sinergias
notablemente con los FFEE y el CIP.
•Incluir más regiones en la iniciativa Regiones del
Conocimiento y en el ERA, especialmente a través
del mentoring de regiones con un perfil
investigador menos desarrollado.

“Competitiveness and knowledge in the tourist sector. Improving the
competitiveness and strategic position of the services sector and in
particular tourist-oriented sectors in European regions, through the
establishment of a platform for the generation and transmission of
knowledge”

From 1st January 2008 to 30th June 2010.

TOUREG pursues to get involved regional agents, especially SME, in order to

approach them to benefit from research activities.

Strategic objective: “Establish a platform for developing a competitive tourist

sector based on the generation and application of knowledge revolving
around a new international research-driven cluster in the tourist sector”.
