Introduction
The subject of our presentation is the importance of
the English language in the working world.
Our presentation is divided into three parts:
introduction, development and conclusion. First, we will
explain the works structure and the main topics that will be
discussed.
Secondly, we will present the main reasons why the
English language is so important to have success in the
business world. To stress these reasons we will show a
scheme and a graphic about this importance.
Finally, to conclude we will try to involve the audience
with questions about the theme.

The Importance of the English Language

The English language is essential today because

globalization makes it something fundamental. Every day
we have to deal with a number of English words in music,
television or tourism. So, we need to realize the importance
and influence it has on our culture.
The fundamental thing to be considered is that
although there are many business men that know English,
most have difficulties use the language in a basic level. In
fact, the fluency in this language is still necessary to
achieve higher ranks.
The point we are making is that if you want to get in
the labour market and earn well, you need to devote
yourself to learn English. For example, if you know how to
speak and write in English you can make business with
foreign clients.
We would like to stress that there are no miracles or
exceptional schools that will help you become an "expert"
in English. In reality, you need to study hard, much effort
and desire to want to learn more and more. It is easier to
use different methods to study languages such as movies,
music and books. You can also do something you enjoy and
take pleasure in studying, for example, you can take a
summer course in an English-speaking country. So, only a
classroom with a textbook and a teacher is not enough.

In other words, here are four reasons why learning

English is so important:
1. English may not be the most spoken
language in the world, but it is the
official language in a large number of
countries.

We would like to draw your attention to the following

This chart shows the English is the language of

business and government most spoken, even in countries
where it is a minority language.

Conclusion

To conclude, we would like to say that although

learning English can be challenging ant time consuming, we
can see that it is also very valuable to learn and can create
many opportunities.
