INTRODUCTION
Ministry of Foreign Affairs through Wisma Putra has entrusted the Aman Palestin to
implement several projects based on available funding. Aman Palestine has received
an allocation of RM833, 333.00 for the Prosthetic Limbs Supply Project.
For the initial stage, Aman Palestin has brought a patient for this project, Zuhair A.A
Al Serhi, to get treatment. Selected hospital is the Senawang Specialist Hospital and
the doctor who manages him is Dr. Zairul Nizam, an Orthopaedic Surgeon. This
surgery has been successfully performed and the patient is now pursuing follow-up
treatment.
Now there are 3 patients from Gaza involved in the Prosthetic Limbs Supply
Project. These patients had arrived in Malaysia in early January 2010 and began to
seek treatment at the Serdang Hospital. Initially, doctors in Hospital Serdang had
screened these patients.

DURATION OF TREATMENT
Estimated duration of treatment for these patients is 3 to 6 months. The project also
involves surgery, installation of prosthetic limbs and physiotherapy treatment / follow-
up with the doctor until the patients can adapt with the prosthetic limbs.
PATIENT PLACEMENT
On 4th of January to 13th of January 2010, the patients were placed in the Mines
Resort City Hotel. Currently, the patients are being placed in a rental house with the
address No.14 Jalan Seri Putra 2/5E, Bandar Seri Putra, for their convenience
during their stay in Malaysia.
CONCLUSION
It is hoped that the cooperation of all parties in ensuring the success of this project,
and this project could proceed to finish.
Aman Palestine would like to express appreciation and gratitude for the trust of the
ministries on our noble mission in aiding Palestinian citizens and refugees.

Arrivals Sameeh Al-Misri (the patient who was stranded in Cairo, Egypt) with
the crew of Aman Palestin (who joined the Viva Palestin) at KLIA.
One of the patients was a student studying Sports Science, while others have
worked as farmers and soldiers.
The patients were brought to Semenyih Health Clinic for inspection and to get
specialist reference letters.
