Router Copy carver

Introduction
Remaking anything is become very need of present age.
Copy the main design fast and precise is very important,
for such job complex CNC machine are used but these are
too expensive to buy. If copying job is limited to wood and
soft metal ROUTER COPY CARVER is the possible solution
for that. It copy the parent design very accurately and in
fast way and the mechanism simple and efficient that it
does not need any special skills

Woodcarving-the obvious, capable of replicating any

three dimensional woodcarving through the rough out
and detail stages. Either use an original woodcarving or
as many others do, an original of other material that you

would like to replicate in wood. Plastic figurines and

ceramic green ware make excellent originals to copy.
Since many of these shapes are cast from molds they
have minimal if any undercuts to deal with, making them
the ideal item to use for an original on the Copy Carver

Theory
This mechanism works on the principal of relative
coordinate system. In which each coordinate of the
design is trace out exactly same having fixed relative
position

Objective
To build four bar link mechanism for four-axis copy
carver to maximize rigidity while keeping construction
and material requirements simple. Due to the unique
design of the Copy Carver you can literally operate it with
two fingers! As we guide the stylus over our original
master the Copy Carver effortlessly removes the excess
stock from our duplicate

applications
Fimec high frequency spindle motors are motors for high
speeds (from 7000rpm up to 24000 rpm). They are
designed to produce high torque, making them ideal for

wood,
plastic
aluminum, marble and glass

2) Steel rod
Steel is an alloy made by
combining iron and
other
elements, the most common
of these being carbon. When
carbon is used, its content in
the steel is between 0.2%
and
2.1%

3) Slider
A linear-motion
bearing or linear
slide is
a bearing designed to
provide free motion in
one dimension. There are many different types of linear
motion bearings Ball bearing slides offer smooth precision

motion along a single-axis linear design, aided by ball

bearings housed in the linear base, with self-lubrication
properties that increase reliability. Ball bearing slide
applications include delicate instrumentation, robotic
assembly, cabinetry, high-end
appliances and clean room
environment

4) Ball Bearing:A ball

bearing is
a
type
of rolling-element bearing that
uses balls to
maintain
the
separation
between
the bearing races.
The
purpose of a ball bearing is to
reduce rotational friction and
support radial and axial loads. It achieves this by using at
least two races to contain the balls and transmit the loads
through the balls. In most applications, one race is
stationary and the other is attached to the rotating
assembly (e.g., a hub or shaft). As one of the bearing
races rotates it causes the balls to rotate as well. Because
the balls are rolling they have a much lower coefficient of
friction than if two flat surfaces were rotating on each
other

Working
In the four bar mechanism the two extreme ends were
connected by spindle motor and drawing pencil. The

pencil moves on the design and motor trace out the exact
copy the coordinate of the design and hence another
copy will be created

Uses
Woodcarving
Stone Carving
Musical Instruments
Cabinet Makers / Furniture Builders
Sign Makers
Woodcrafters
Intarsia
Cut Out Tool

Conclusion
This mechanism is best suited for small scale industries
and crafting. This is cost effective and easy to handle
