Why Liberal Arts?

In a day and age of rapid global

change where knowledge of societies,
cultures and systems matter as much
as technical expertise, a background
in the liberal arts and humanities is
essential for the intellectual formation
of a citizen of the future.

JSLH:

Jindal School of Liberal Arts &

Humanities (JSLH) is Indias first
transnational humanities school in
partnership with Rollins College,
Florida, and is part of the O. P.
Jindal Global University at Sonipat
in Haryana. JSLH offers a vibrant
undergraduate program in the liberal
arts and humanities.

Highlights: The BA in the

Liberal Arts & Humanities
at JSLH has a unique interdisciplinary curriculum and
study abroad opportunity in
the USA at Rollins College,
Florida. Students can also do a
three-year BA (Hons.) program
and get the undergraduate
degree from JSLH.

Why JSLH?
With a stress on interdisciplinary studies, JSLH offers a BA
(Hons.) program where students get a wide and deep exposure to
humanities and social science subjects. Students learn in classrooms
where they absorb a vast range of materials in collaboration with
peers and teachers. They learn through texts, images, visuals, films.
Their performance is assessed through written tests, research
papers, team and individual presentations. We aim to have students
who will become well-rounded individuals with the latitude and
temperament to make a mark in any passion they pursue.

The JSLH BA: Over the first two years of the BA, students

train in the foundational aspects of the liberal arts and humanities

through core courses, electives at JLSH
and select courses across the different
schools of the University. They do
Rollins College,
one-month internships between
every semester. In the final
