Greetings!
We are proud to present to you PEGASUS 2016, the annual fest of
Christian Medical College, Vellore. Started in the 1980s as a platform to
showcase the sporting talent of students, PEGASUS has been growing in
leaps and bounds every year, and is now one of the most popular
medical fests in South India.

ABOUT THE COLLEGE:

The Christian Medical College, Vellore is one of the premier medical
institutions in the country. It has consistently ranked among the top three
medical colleges in India. Founded by Dr. Ida Scudder over a hundred
years ago, the vision of our institution is to be a witness to the
healing ministry of Christ, through excellence in education, service and
research. This vision is what we strive towards till this day. CMC has
transformed the small town of Vellore into a fast-paced city and a hub of
medical tourism.

ABOUT PEGASUS:
CMC hosts Pegasus every year in the month of July. It has grown into one
of the most popular medical fests in South India. Nearly 5000 students
from medical, engineering and arts colleges from all over the country
flock to Vellore to battle their peers in various competitions spanning six
days, and to attend the various entertainment proshows by famous
artists of the industry. In addition to this crowd, is the near- 2,500
undergraduate students of the college itself.

PEGASUS has become a power-packed 6-day event looked forward to by

college students all over South India. For all those who attend, PEGASUS
has been an unforgettable experience of music, dance, arts, sports,
games and mouth-watering food!

Being the biggest student-organised event in the calendar, PEGASUS is

attended by the 1,500+ doctors working in various campuses of CMC,
their families, and the large number of postgraduate and fellowship
students of the college.

Listed in the next few pages are the different events that form a part of
Pegasus.

1. COGNITIO
The academic part of PEGASUS, Cognitio is an undergraduate research
symposium. Started three years ago, Cognitio is now a much-awaited
event in the calendar of medical students all over the country. Medical
students from a large number of colleges send in their abstracts, and
participate in the oral and poster research presentations. Cognitio is
popular because of the various workshops held by experts, focussing on
medical issues of current importance and acquiring much-needed skills
for professional advancement.

2. EPIDURIA
The Pegasus mediquiz - EPIDURIA, is probably the biggest of its kind in
South India. This is where the brightest minds from medical colleges all
over the country battle it out for the ultimate trophy.
Held over the course of a day, Epiduria consists of senior and junior
quizzes.

SPORTS:

This is perhaps the most popular part of PEGASUS. Sportsmen and

sportswomen from medical colleges, engineering colleges and arts
colleges flock to Vellore to take part in this fierce competition, and win
some serious prize money. Cricket, football, hockey, volleyball,
basketball, throwball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, chess, carroms, 6a side hockey, futsal and Mac cricket are the various sporting events that
are a part of PEGASUS. This year, we are planning to organise a
PEGASUS cross-country as well.

CULTURALS, ART AND LITERARY
EVENTS:
PEGASUS has always been famous for its high-quality cultural, arts and
literary competitions. Arts include sketching, Rangoli, painting, while
cultural and literary events include theatre, short film making, creative
writing, Shipwreck, JAM, Turncoat, 90 seconds, Dumb Charades, ADZAP,
Potpourri, GK quiz, debate and Model United Nations.

ENTERTAINMENT:

Competitions include Dance comp, Rock music comp, Acoustic music

comp are huge attractions to many college bands and groups. The
proshows have been great crowd-pullers over the years. Our proshows
include Acoustic concert, Rock concert, Stand up comedy and Eastern
music concert. Famous artists and bands like Shakthisree Gopalan,
Slain, and Thermal and a Quarter have performed in Pegasus in the
recent past.

INFORMALS AND GAMES:

When people decide to take a break, they head on to the Informals area
where there are a ton of different games fun games and easy prizes.
We are planning to have paintball also this year.

MESS:

Who doesnt like delicious food? The mess area is a must-go destination
for everyone attending the show. Food stalls are put up by popular
eateries in Vellore, Chennai and Bangalore.

WHY SHOULD YOU SPONSOR US?

PEGASUS is an excellent platform for sponsors to reach out to college

the CMC community. With an impressive plethora of events lined up in
PEGASUS 2016, we provide our sponsors a unique opportunity to

This year, we are inviting all the medical colleges in the country, and
engineering, commerce and arts colleges from all over India as well.
Also, we send our invitations to all schools in Vellore and the surrounding
towns, and put up hoardings and banners in strategic positions in Vellore
city to advertise the event. We are expecting a footfall of 10,000 this
year, and this number is excluding members of the CMC community
undergraduates, postgraduates, fellowship students and doctors, from all
the campuses of CMC. So that makes it an opportunity to advertise your
brand/product to more than 15,000 possible clients!

Brand Presence:
Your brand name and logo will be displayed prominently on banners,
posters, print ads, booklets, pamphlets etc. Posters and brochures of
the event will be sent to over 500 colleges all over India.

On-campus Advertising:
Banners/Ads: You will be able to display banners/posters during
PEGASUS at prominent locations. Your ad will be played on the public
address system during the fest.
Stalls: You will have the opportunity to set up stalls to demonstrate
products or distribute pamphlets, enabling you to interact with the whole
student crowd, and staff from CMC. The vast range of events provides
the ideal stage to promote your brand/product.
Live Sessions: You can hold product demonstration/discussion
sessions during the fest, which will prove to be an excellent brand
building exercise.

Print:
PEGASUS will be covered by a number of leading English and Tamil
newspapers, which is an excellent way to promote your brand/product.

Online:
Website: Your companys name and logo (with link to companys
website) will be displayed on the PEGASUS 2016 website which will be
visited by thousands of college students across India.
Email: You will be mentioned on all publicity emails sent by the
PEGASUS 2016 team.

Social Networking:
The brand will also be promoted on Facebook and Twitter in the form of
status updates and links to your website on the official PEGASUS pages.

The extent of these benefits depends upon the level of your association
with PEGASUS 2016. Furthermore, the exact benefit plan shall be
tailored to best suit your companys profile, based on mutual consent.

SPONSORSHIP AVENUES:
You can be a SPONSOR or a PARTNER.

TITLE SPONSOR 5 lakhs

This is the premier sponsorship designation available to a company.
-- The festival will be named after the Title Sponsor i.e. CMC and (Title
Sponsor) present PEGASUS 2016.

-- All publications leading to PEGASUS 2016 (this includes posters,

banners, pamphlets, invitations, hoardings and newspaper
advertisements) will carry the name and logo of the Title Sponsor. .
-- The Title Sponsor will dominate the hoardings, advertisements and
other promotional material of PEGASUS 2016.
-- The Title Sponsor will be given first choice for branding space on the
campus during the festival and the precise location of branding space
will be decided on by mutual consent.
-- The Title Sponsor will get two stalls in the festival area for branding
purposes. The size and precise position of the stalls will be decided on
by mutual consent.
-- The Title Sponsor will be given a slot on the inauguration day to make a
presentation of the brand/product.
-- The PEGASUS 2016 website will feature both the banner and the
profile of the Title Sponsor, with hyperlink to its website. A page on the
website shall also be dedicated to the CSR activities of the Title
Sponsor.
-- The Title Sponsor will also be provided volunteers to help with the
publicity efforts of the Title Sponsor during the course of the festival. -Audio and Video advertisements of the Title Sponsor will be shown
between the events of PEGASUS 2016.
-- Apart from the logistics help provided by our team, we will also ensure
that your name reaches the large and prominent CMC alumni. -- The Title

Sponsor's name and logo will also be printed on all name badges,
certificates and trophies given away in PEGASUS 2016.
-- The Title Sponsors logo will be printed on all T-shirts sold in PEGASUS
2016.
-- The Media Partners will publicize the Title Sponsor's name in any
article or coverage of PEGASUS.

ASSOCIATE SPONSOR 3 LAKHS

-- All posters and banners that form a part of the PEGASUS 2016
publicity campaign will carry the name and logo of the Associate
Sponsor.
-- The Associate Sponsor will also feature in advertisements, hoardings
and other promotional material for PEGASUS 2016.
-- The Associate Sponsor will be allowed to put banners at strategic
places across the campus to maximize visibility.
-- The Associate Sponsor will get a stall in the festival area for branding
purposes. The size and precise position of the stall will be decided on by
mutual consent.
-- The PEGASUS 2016 website will feature the banner of the Associate
Sponsor, with a link to its website.
-- Audio and Video advertisements will be shown between the events of
PEGASUS 2016.
-- The Associate Sponsor's name will also be printed on certificates given
away in PEGASUS 2016.
-- The Media Partners will publicize the Associate Sponsor's name in any
article or coverage of PEGASUS 2016.

EVENT SPONSOR 1 LAKH

-- All publications leading to the event will carry the name and logo of the
Event Sponsor.
-- All posters and banners related to the event will carry the name and
logo of the Event Sponsor.
-- The Event Sponsor will be allowed to display banners at the venue of
the event during the course of the event.
-- The Event Sponsor will be allowed distribute material publicly during the
event. The Event Sponsors will be given exclusive publicity during their
events.
-- Audio and Video advertisements of the Event Sponsor will be shown
between the events of PEGASUS 2016.
-- The PEGASUS 2016 website will feature the name and the logo of the
Event Sponsor.

OTHER SPONSORSHIP AVENUES:

BANNER: Two large banners (provided by the sponsor) in the festival
area. Price of 8,000.
STALL: One publicity stall in the festival area. Price of 20,000.

This is for companies with existing infrastructure who are willing to
arrange for various requirements of PEGASUS 2016. Advertisement
opportunities include representation in the PEGASUS 2016 website,

publications related to the specific event, banner space at various

Radio Partner: Radio publicity, announcements and ads, before and
during the event.

Websites and companies can become our partners by advertising
PEGASUS 2016 on their website.

Companies that can provide vehicles/fuel for the transport needs of
PEGASUS 2016 can partner with us.

APPAREL PARTNERS:
Companies that can sponsor the cost of printing official PEGASUS 2016
T-shirts and jerseys can partner with us.

PRINT PARTNERS:
Companies that can help in printing various publications like posters,
brochures, pamphlets, ID cards, banners, certificates, etc.

PRIZE PARTNERS:

Companies can partner with us by sponsoring prizes for the winners of

various events in cash/kind.

FOOD PARTNERS:
Companies can provide sponsorship in the form of cash/kind to
subsidise the cost of daily mess for all participants. They may also
provide free food/drinks to the participating events.

The hospitality sponsors of PEGASUS 2016 can help make the stay of
participants comfortable by sponsoring accommodation, giving rooms,
etc.
