This

installation guide is divided in to four parts, namely:

1. Knowing your Windows OS.
- Its essential to identify if you are using a 32-bit or 64-bit OS.
- Refer to pages 2.
2. Installing the Torrent application.
- This will download the SPSS application.
- Refer to pages 3 to 5.
3. Downloading the SPSS application.
- Refer to pages 6 to 7.
4. Installing the Power ISO application.
This will extract the SPSS installer, downloaded through the Torrent application.
Refer to pages 8 to 10.
5. Installing the SPSS application.
- Refer to pages 11 to 18.

KNOWING YOUR WINDOWS OS.

1. Go to your systems Control Panel through Windows search box.
CLICK THIS.

Click the WINDOWS LOGO then type CONTROL PANEL in the Search Box.

2. Click View basic information about your computer.

3. This will determine whether your Windows OS uses a 32-bit or 64-bit Operating System.

In this case,
my computer uses
32-bit OS
(Operating System).
You might be using a 64-bit OS.

It is important to remember if you are using

a 32-bit
OR a 64-bit OS.

INSTALLING THE TORRENT APPLICATION

1. Using your web browser, go to http://www.utorrent.com and click Get Torrent for Windows.

2. Scroll downards and click Get Torrent for Windows.

3. Wait until the download of the application is complete then click the Torrent.exe file.

4. If it does not work, Go to your Downloads folder and doubleclick the Torrent.exe file.

5. Once a new dialog box is open, click Run.

As the User Control window opens, click Yes.

The Torrent Installation Wizard will open. Just click NEXT three times.
Click I agree with the Terms and Conditions, then click NEXT again three times.
Choose I agree then click Next.

11. Wait for a while, until the Torrent application starts. It somehow looks like the image below. Just minimize it to
keep it running.

If no window appears, you may double click the Torrent application in the Downloads folder again. Click Run.
This will open the window as shown in Step # 11. Minimize the application.

DOWNLOADING THE SPSS APPLICATION

1. Using your web browser, go to
https://kat.cr/ibm-spss-statistics-v23-0-0-multilanguage-for-windows-amo-data-collection-x86-x64-t11546755.html

2. Click Download Torrent.

3. Wait for a while, usually in less than a minute. Then go to your Downloads folder.
Double click the torrent file you just downloaded.

4. Just click Ok.

5. The SPSS application will be downloaded. It is a 2.66 GB file so it may take a lot of hours, depending on the
speed of your internet connection. Wait until the status of the download becomes 100%.

Wait until 100%.

6. Once its 100% downloaded, Congratulations! The SPSS installer is already in the Downloads folder.

This contains the SPSS installer.

INSTALLING ISO MOUNTING SOFTWARE

1. Using your web browser, go to www.poweriso.com and click DOWNLOAD NOW.

Click this.

2. Click Download PowerISO v6.4 , depending on your Windows OS (32-bit or 64-bit).

Click ONE of these.

3. Click Download.

Click this.

4. Select the destination folder of the file to be downloaded.

In this case, I am saving it in my Desktop folder.

Then click this.

5. Once the download is finish, double click the PowerISO6.zip file from the destination folder where you saved it.

Double click this.

6. Double click the PowerISO6.

Double click this.

7. New dialog box will appear. Click Yes for confirmation. Then click I agree.
8. Click Next twice.
9. Click Install.

10. Click Next.

11. Be sure that .iso is checked. Then click Close.

INSTALLING SPSS
1. Be sure that the SPSS software download has reached 100% in the Open the PowerISO software.

Be sure its 100%.

2. Go to Downloads folder and open the downloaded folder containing SPSS.

Double click the cyg-spss23.iso file, or right click and Open With PowerISO

In the PowerISO application, choose Windows folder.

Double click this or right-click, choose Open with

then choose PowerISO.

Choose Windows.

Run setup.exe.

Choose setup.exe. Then double click it.

Click OK. Wait for a while, then click YES.

Just click OK.

A new window will open. Click Install IBM SPSS Statistics 23.

10. Agree with the terms and conditions. Then click Next.

11. Put your chosen user name and Organization. Then click Next.

Put your desired User name and

organization (or it can be anything).

13. Be sure the answer is No. Then click Next.

14. Be sure the answer is Yes. Then click Next.

16. Then Next again.

18. Click Install. Then wait while installation process takes place. This will take around 5 to 10 minutes,
depending on your computers hardware.

Just wait.

19. Uncheck the box for updates and special alerts. Then click OK.

This box must have no check mark.

20. Choose License my product now. Then click OK.

Then Click this.

22. Click Next.

24. Click Yes to reboot your computer.

25. Once your computer has restarted, go to the Downloads folder again, and open the IBM SPSS folder.

Double click this.

26. Open the Activation zip file.

Double click this.

27. Open the Activation folder.

Double click this.

28. Open the IBM Statistics folder.

Double click this.

29. Once in the SPSS Statistics folder, choose lservrc file, then press Ctrl+C. You will paste the file in the folder.

Double click this.

30. Go to C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\23.

Type C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\23.

Then press Enter.
You will be in the folder 23 of
Program Files>>IBM>>SPSS

31. Press CTRL+V to paste the "lservrc" file.

32. CONGRATULATIONS! You may now open the IBM SPSS ver 23 in your computer.

33. As SPSS opens, you may either create a new file or open an existing one. Click OK afterwards.
