Enclosed is a $1,091.94 check you wrongly sent me that I am returning to you marked VOID and
other such. Enclosed is my email of February 25, 2016 rejecting this nonsense and requesting an
address to return the check. As of today you have not provided a return address, so I am
returning the check to the Synchrony Financial Stamford, CT address shown above.
Also enclosed is a letter dated January 28, 2016 from a corporate nonlawyer,
Julie Avila Martinez, Senior Specialist, Corporate Consumer Relations
Synchrony Bank, 900 Concourse Drive, Rapid City SD 57703
The letter states in part,
On December 30, 2015, Alana Brown, Litigation Counsel for Synchrony Bank,
telephoned you in order to inform you that your billing dispute had been resolved in your
favor. As you requested, Mrs. Brown instead sent an email to you stating that the billing
dispute was resolved in your favor.
Ms. Brown, you know nothing has been resolved. See my enclosed email to you, EVP Mothner,
and Synchrony Financial. The check is returned. The letter of nonlawyer Martinez is a piece of
fiction and does not even accurately reflect the merchandise in dispute. Synchrony Financial
should tell nonlawyer Martinez that I did not order a camera through Amazon.com.
I have come to the realization that it is impossible to resolve a dispute with financial institutions
like Synchrony Financial, or the psychopaths at Amazon.com. Dont bother refunding any
money to my former accounts. I stopped paying them FOREVER. I got into this mess because
my credit was good, and I could buy online. Fine, I want a zero credit score, and cash only basis.
Unfortunately even the CFPB cannot resolve this matter. Fine, that means Synchrony Financial
and its ilk are too corrupt, too rapacious, and too maniacal, to exist. America needs a policy
change regarding financial terrorists like Synchrony Financial and Amazon.com.
You will be hearing from me regarding other unfinished business. Your check is returned.

I regret not responding as planned last month, but my delay has been unavoidable for circumstances
beyond my control. However I hope to provide Synchrony Financial and the CFPB an initial
accounting soon for my numerous accounts with Synchrony, both closed and open.
I also plan to respond to a number of letters from Synchrony that create a false record of events, and
provide that information to the credit bureaus and the CFPB.

Dear Mr. Neil Gillespie:


On behalf of Synchrony Bank, I am responding to your concerns raised through the Consumer
Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). I appreciate you bringing this matter to my attention.
On December 28, 2015, a member of our Corporate Consumer Relations team contacted you
via email in order to advise you that your billing dispute was in the process of being reviewed.
In response to this email, you had requested no further contact from any employee of
Synchrony Bank unless the said employee was an attorney. On December 30, 2015, Alana
Brown, Litigation Counsel for Synchrony Bank, telephoned you in order to inform you that your
billing dispute had been resolved in your favor. As you requested, Mrs. Brown instead sent an
email to you stating that the billing dispute was resolved in your favor.
On December 30, 2015, Synchrony Bank issued credits to your Amazon.com Store Card
account totaling $1 ,116.94. These credits were issued to your Amazon.com Store Card account
because you told us you ordered a camera through Amazon.com, but had later cancelled the
purchase and had never received the merchandise. Synchrony Bank issued these credits to
your account in the interest of customer service because Amazon.com had not yet credited your
account for the cancelled order.
Shortly thereafter, on January 6, 2015, Amazon.com issued a credit to your Amazon.com Store
Card account in the amount of $1 ,056.94. As Synchrony Bank had previously issued a credit to
your account, the Amazon.com Store Card account now reflects a credit balance of $1 ,091.94.
A check will be sent to you under separate cover.
Additionally, on December 30, 2015, Synchrony Bank issued a credit to your Lowe's Consumer
credit card account in the amount of $200.00. This credit is reflected on your January 2016
monthly billing statement.

On December 20, 2015, we received your correspondence that indicated you disputed a
purchase that was placed on your Amazon.com Store Card account in the amount of $1 ,056.94.
Your correspondence further indicated you disputed a late fee that was posted to your
Amazon.com Store Card account. Additionally, your correspondence indicated a payment for
$35.00 was not posted to your Amazon.com Store Card account. The dispute was resolved in
your favor and the aforementioned credit of $1,116.94 was posted to your account on
December 30, 2015.
Your correspondence also indicated you did not receive benefit for $200.00 worth of Amazon
gift cards purchased on your Lowe's consumer credit card account. This dispute was also
resolved in your favor and the aforementioned credit of $200.00 was issued to your Lowe's
Consumer credit card account on December 30, 2015.
