Aims:
1. To help students see and understand the difference in meaning and use
between active and passive constructions.
2. To help them use passive constructions appropriately
3. To provide meaningful situations for students to practice the use of passives
through controlled, semi-controlled and free practice
Teaching aids: worksheets, pictures, blackboard
Assumptions and anticipated problems: I assume that students have already been
exposed to passive structures and they are able to recognize and use them.
However I assume that students may have difficulties with turning active sentences
into passive ones.

passive (or both) are better for
each fragment. The best part
will be dictated to the editor
and they will also have to find
a suitable title for each
fragment.
