How to participate in the writing forum

Steps for the writing Assignment
First week: (Feb 22nd Feb 28th) Introduce yourself (Name, age, address, phone
number, occupation) and Choose only one role.
Leader : coordinates the development of collaborative activity,
clarifies doubts, guides and mediates the discussions that occur,
the end is what makes the delivery of the product ordered.

Equipment Manager: responsible to point to discuss issues and

guides his colleagues when they are not trying or when the
contributions to what is being discussed and is not oriented
building, review the assessment rubric and informs when it is or is
not meeting this offers alternatives to solve the above situations.

Motivator: ensures that everyone has the opportunity to

participate in team work and commended the members for their
contributions, provided the contributions are correct.

Weather Watcher: Monitor and record the behavior of the group

based on the agreements reached following the agenda to meet
timely.
Rapporteur: consolidates and organizes the contributions in the
document to be delivered. It does so in the process. In this role
you can say something like: I will present what we have agreed.
This is what we have achieved so far.

Second week (Feb. 29th- April 10th)

Read carefully the following steps to construct and consolidate your writing.
You are asked to write a plot of 20 lines (conversation between 2 people)
Topic: The plot for scene 1.
1. * Do a presentation and give your opinion of the activity in the same
message

Make an agreement on what situation your will be working on. (place,

people profile, subject)

Once the group has reached an agreement, you have to start writing the plot.
2. The plot will be individual, (every student will have different conversation,
but same topic, same place).
For the 20 lines conversation students need to write at least 10 modal verbs
properly and underline them.
Organize your work like that:
Introduction (3 lines):
Set the context for the tutor to know it. (Give as much details as you can)
Describe the character involved in the conversation.
Conversation:
This will be a 20 lines conversation, be creative and dont forget to use the modal
verbs, remember that you have to use them at least 10 times but not repeating the
same modal verb more than 2 times.
Be creative; illustrate the main situation of the plot with a picture.
Be aware of:
Your ideas must be clear and organized.
On-line Translators are a useful tool, but keep in mind to be responsible at
using them.
Be creative! Imagination and good sense of humor are important items at
writing, make of your work an entertained document to read.
