Overview

The course endeavours to upskill Englsh Language trainees in terms of exploiting plays and
drama as a resource for the ESL classroom, through the tasks set. (Shift 2, Malaysia Education
Blueprint 2013-2025). It also seeks to develop trainees potential and proficiency as an ESL

Task 3 Reflective essay (20%) - Individual
An important purpose for reflective writing is to develop meta cognitive skills, that is, the ability

help you learn. The writing process consolidates and reinforces what you have learned into your
long term memory. A third purpose is to communicate your insights and share what you have
learnt with others.
Write a reflective essay on insights gained from your experience and contribution in the
dramatisation process and stage performance in not more than 1000 words. Below are some
guidelines:

What have you gained from this project/experience?

What was your role/contribution in this dramatisation?
Were there difficult challenges/meaningful experiences encountered?
