Procedure: T greets Ss and asks if there


are any absents. Ss on duty answer.
T asks Ss some questions to make them

Procedure: T asks the Ss to divide


themselves into two groups telling them
that they have to pick a name for each
team and then divides the blackboard
into two columns writing the name of
each team in their column. Then the T
gives the students a worksheet on which
there are some sentences in English that
contain errors. Each team has 3 minutes
to think about the errors and correct
them. The Ss read aloud the correct
sentences and the team which has the
most answers wins. They receive smiling
faces which they can stick on their
clothes.

Procedure: Ss read their homework


which consisted in writing a letter to an
English pen friend telling them about
their holiday. They correct the mistakes
if any.
Procedure: T asks the students how the
weather is and how the weather was the
previous day. Ss answer the questions
using the weather words. The T asks the
students to open their books and to look
at the pictures and asks them to say how
the weather is in those cities.
Procedure: T divides the class into three
groups and gives each group a set of
flashcards with weather and next to them
a set of sentences containing weather

they have three minutes to match the
sentences with the pictures. After Ss
finish matching the sentences they have
to go and write on the blackboard the
sentences and next to each one a

that they have to act in pair the dialogue
about weather. They take turns in asking
about the weather in different cities.

specific sounds /ei/ and /e/.

work in pairs in order to build dialogues
to practice weather words using the
information given in the weather
forecast.

to the conversation twice. The T checks
the answers of the students.
Follow-up Procedure: T tells the students that they
are going to listen to a song about
weather and that they have to complete
the text with the missing words from the
song. They are going to listen to the song
twice and then to check if they filled in
correctly. The T asks the Ss to sing the
song if they can.
Homework Procedure: The T tells the Ss that their
homework consits in writing a postcard
to a friend in which they have to speak
about their holiday and the weather.
