Local news exposes plan to resettle throngs of refugees in U.S.

headlines after exposing
organized efforts to resettle
refugees in his town and other parts
of the country, an agenda that is
being pushed by open-borders advocate George Soros and promoted
by corporate groups, non-profit organizations, religious groups, and all
levels of government.
Chris Berg, a reporter for Valley
News Live and host of the television news program 6:30 Point of
View, produced an expos highlighting the efforts of outside groups
to resettle refugees in the area.
The report focused particular attention on the role played by the
Partnership for a New American
Economy, an organization that
brings together more than 500 Republican, Democratic, and Independent mayors and business leaders united in making the economic
case for streamlining, modernizing,
and rationalizing our immigration
system, according to its official
website.
In the report, Berg also exposed
Soross role as well as large corporate organizations that benefit from

World immigrants. He also looked at
the chaos and cultural, economic,
and political degeneration that accompanies massive Third World immigration and refugee resettlement.
Transferring large numbers of
Third World peoples into America,
and the insidious agenda behind it,
are issues that simply cannot be ignored any longer by the average
American.

This follows reports that the State

Department is coordinating efforts
to resettle even more than the 10,000
Syrian refugees President Barack
Obama had pledged that the United
States would take in.
Thousands of Somalis, Iraqis, and
other peoples from across the globe
are resettled in the United States
each year, and more and more Americans are starting to voice their opposition to the systematic encouragement and facilitation of resettling
foreigners into towns and cities all
across America.
In response to the outrageous
refugee resettlement policies championed by the Obama administration, Rep. Raul Labrador (R-Idaho)
introduced H.R. 4731, known as the
Refugee Program Integrity Restoration Act of 2016, on March 14.
The bill seeks to restore congressional authority over refugee admissions as well as place an annual
cap of 60,000 refugee admissions
into the United States, according
to a summary written by the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
A number of ethnic political lobbies and religious organizations that
benefit from the resettlement process, including the Anti-Defamation
League and other organizations,
have denounced the bill, and are
currently organizing to lobby congressional representatives to vote
against it.

2016 presidential primary and caucus
cycle it is that the cats finally out of the
bag when it comes to manipulating the
elections of our democratic republic.
Whatever you may think about billionaire Republican presidential contender Donald Trump, he has won the
popular vote and secured nearly
enough delegates to take the Republican nomination. But that has not
stopped the establishment, which is
threatened by his economic nationalism and his criticism of perpetual war,
from brazenly moving to steal the election from him.
In this weeks issue, we are documenting moves in Colorado, South Carolina, and Georgia to rob Trump of
delegates in order to promote Sen. Ted
Cruz (Texas), whose platform mirrors
the agenda of the neoconservatives, the
internationalists, the bankers, the military-industrial-banking complex, and
the multinational corporations.
Typically, they will destroy a candidate through the usual channels by repeatedly smearing him in the mainstream media, but that has not worked
with Trump. So they have decided to
get it done by manipulating the election
results to suit their whims. And, of
course, we know that if that doesnt
work, they will certainly resort to outright electronic vote fraud in order to
ensure Hillary Clinton is elected president. The same thing is happening to
Bernie Sanders as the establishment
works to make Clinton the Democratic
nomineeno matter what that partys
voters want.
So the question we need to be asking ourselves is, will our votes be
wasted if we go out to the polls? Thats
not an easy answer, as it depends on
how far removed your partys state and
local leadership is from the rank and
file. What it does signal, however, is
that its more important than ever to get
involved in local politics, because the
evidence is out there for all to see that
elections are rigged by those in power
to advance their goals.

BP Oil Spill Disaster

There may be one bright spot for

the U.S. economythe gun business
is booming. Thanks to gun grabbers
like Hillary and Barack, citizens feel
this is urgently the time to buy
weapons to protect themselves and
their families. The gun industry
added 24,763 new jobs in 2015, for a
total of 287,986 nationwide, says
Newton, Conn.-based National
Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF),
which stated, We are seeing an
increase in jobs by a remarkable 73%
since 2008. The jobs pay an average
of $50,180 in yearly wages and
benefitskeeping the firearms employees out of the poorhouse,
though earning less than what a
federal bureaucrat makes.

Dave Hodges warns folks living

by the Gulf of Mexico are in grave
danger. Remember the BP oil spill
some six years ago? Area residents
lifespans are being reduced by
perhaps 25% as the effects of the
spill linger on. Says Hodges, From
the scientific evidence I have seen, if
I lived by the gulf, I would immediately leave to a safer location.
Corexit, the chemical supposed to
control the spill, is still being
sprayed at night by BP. Corexit does
not correct it; it merely submerges
floating oil, sucking all the CO2 from
the water with a devastating impact
on the environment and the species
inhabiting it. The unprecedented
use of chemical dispersants has
broken up the oil into toxic droplets
so tiny they have easily entered the
food chain.

exploded in size over the past
decade, and both major parties are
to blame for this. Over the last
decade the number of private-sector
employees has grown only 1%, but
the number of federal employees has
grown by 15%, he points out as one
example of government gone wild.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam (R)

vetoed a controversial bill that
would make the Bible the official
state book of Tennessee. Had he
signed the bill, Tennessee would
have become the first and only state
in the union to recognize the Bible as
its state book. Haslam wrote: In
addition to the constitutional issues
with this bill, my personal feeling is
that this bill trivializes the Bible,
which I believe is a sacred text.

In yet another shocking move,

President Obama broke with protocol by naming a U.S. warship after a
liberal, left-wing politician and activist with no history of military service. Jumping ahead of about 200
Medal of Honor recipients in the
Navy and Marine Corps, Obama had
Navy Secretary Ray Mabus announce the naming of the Arleigh
Burke class guided missile destroyer
after Carl Levin, a retired Michigan
senator who never served in the
military a day in his life. This violates
Navy guidelines and tradition and
serves to help push a far-left agenda.

Saudis Threaten U.S.

When Nashville, Tenn. police

officer Matthew Cammarn tried to
arrest a man for assaulting a woman,
the suspect, Brian Shannon, began
to scuffle with him and the duo
wound up on the ground. As they
continued fighting, bystanders began pushing and kicking not the man
who attacked the woman but the
cop. Cammarn sustained a head injury that later sent him to the hospital, but Shannon fled, and the injured Cammarn chased him. Shannon was later arrested, and one 17year-old was charged for attacking
the officer. The attack was the
second in two days on police patrolling the James Cayce housing project.
Cammarn was earlier named the
departments 2015 Officer of the
Year for saving a gunshot victim.

Saudi Arabia has told the United

States government it will sell hundreds of billions of dollars worth of
American assets held by the Mideast
kingdom if Congress passes a bill to
allow the Saudis to be held responsible in U.S. courts for any role
they may have had in the attacks on
America on Sept. 11, 2001. Most of
the so-called hijackers, as well as
Osama bin Laden, were Saudi citizens. The Obama administration has
lobbied Congress to block passage
of the bill, warning of diplomatic
and economic fallout from the legislation. AFP has reported extensively on the Sept. 11 attacks and has
pointed the finger of blame at other
culprits. If the Saudis were involved,
we want to know about it.

Sweden Will Be Third-World by 2030

Massive influx of unassimilable immigrants, embrace of multiculturalism a disaster

weden was once lauded as a Scandinavian utopia, but in a September

2010 UN Human Development Research Paper, researchers Jana Asher
and Beth Daponte cited grave dangers awaiting this country in the
future. Since that reports release, European
media outlets have run headlines saying, Sweden
Will Become a Third World Country by 2030.
The greatest scourge afflicting this nation is its
embrace of multiculturalism via unchecked immigration. Swedens leftist leaders accept more
refugees per capita than any of its European
neighbors. Most of these migrants originate from
Africa and the Middle East. In fact, 16% of Swedens population now consists of non-whites.
One of the primary attractions for blacks and
Arabs is Swedens generous welfare programs.
Journalist Ingrid Carlqvist, a distinguished senior fellow at the Gatestone Institute and editorin-chief of Dispatch International, can no longer
hide her dejection.
On April 2, she complained in an article posted
online: We had a perfectly good country, a rich
country, a nice country, and in a few years time
that country will be gone.
The UN projects sharp declines in Swedens
prosperity. Schools are overcrowded due to large
numbers of immigrants, with some elementary
classrooms now accepting adult refugee men
who share seats alongside eight-year-old white
boys and girls. In cities, violence is on the rise, a
situation compounded by foreign killers who of-

tentimes confess to selecting their victims because they look Swedish.

In refugee asylum housing complexes, not
only do trash and human feces litter the grounds,
but police officers must continually break up
fights, stabbings, and assaults. Lowlife elements
also open the door to weapons smugglers, drug
dealers, drunk driving and other criminality.
Perhaps worst of all is the fact that Sweden
has now been recognized as the rape capital of
the West. On Oct. 24, 2015, a Congolese man
strangled to death a pregnant Swedish woman.
The day before, three Muslim men gang-raped a
young Swedish teenage girl.
In their own homes, some Islamic fathers have
conducted forced virginity tests on their unwill-

ing daughters, who protest such horrible invasions of their bodies.

If these examples arent appalling enough,
Stockholm has been forced to open a homosexual rape clinic for men, who have been sexually
assaulted by immigrants.
On April 6, AFP interviewed four individuals
with valuable insights into these atrocities.
Dr. Elisabeth Ward of the Scandinavian Cultural Center at Pacific Lutheran University told
AFP: Over the past 20 years, politicians have
done everything possible to push an attitude of
Sweden is part of the world. Theyre actually
providing the same benefits to immigrants as
they do to their own citizens. What its done is
cause less nationalism among the citizenry.
Chloe Hagstroem, a reporter for Norwegian
American Weekly, explained: Swedens immigration policies have been quite extreme, and
now many citizens are skeptical of the governments policies. Swedes have grown more xenophobic over the past decade.
Regrettably, many in the political class still
dont get it. Johan Marcus, executive director for
the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce,
could only muster this response for AFP: Third
world countries are moving up.
On April 11, Jonas Norlin, a senior advisor at
the Swedish Embassy, doubted the veracity of
the aforementioned UN report. He wrote to AFP,
My personal view is that the predictive power of
this model has been poor so far, so we should not
take their forecast too seriously.
If this type of mindset continues to prevail
among politically correct Swedes, its a certainty
that widespread peril will not be abated in that
once idyllic nation.

on its website around April 9
that the groups 2016 meeting
will take place in Dresden,
Germany June 9-12, the Panama Papers had just erupted, revealing that bigname companies, politicians, and celebrities
have been hiding funds outside the U.S. to avoid
taxes. But some wondered if that headlinegrabbing paper caper was just a handy issue
to exploit in a psy-op to justify a Bilderbergblessed world tax system.
Such a development would vindicate late
AFP Bilderberg hound Jim Tuckers frequent
references to the long-sought Bilderberg goal of
global taxation for various reasons, including to
transfer money from wealthier nations to
poorer ones to underwrite the latters ability to
pay their debts to the world banking consortium.
Its worth noting that the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists credited
with breaking the provocative Panama Papers
story is a project of the Center for Public Integrity (CPI), whose 40 or so top financiers include George Soross Open Society Foundations, the Rockefeller Family Fund, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Carnegie Corp. of
New York. The CPIs claim of a strict firewall
between editorial content and these plutocratic
interests, with history as their guide, just wont
wash. Rockefeller and Carnegie interests are
Bilderberg mainstays.

which the UK leads European calls for the
Group of Twenty (G20) to tackle tax evasion.
Osborne had plenty to say about this April 14 in
the House of Commons.

against those who hide their illegal tax evasion
in the dark corners of the financial system, he
declared, adding: Britain will work with our
major European partners to find out who really
runs the secretive shell companies and trusts
that have been used as conduits for evading tax,
laundering money, and benefitting from corruption.
He noted that Britain is helping to pursue an
automatic tax-data exchange while encouraging the Organization for Economic Cooperation

placed a passage on the groups official
website around April 9, stating the 2016

The G20, a forum of politicians and central
bankers that affects two-thirds of the world
population and 80% of world trade, is pushing
the global taxation mantra. The G20 was created
in 1999 by German Finance Minister Hans Eichel
in collaboration with former U.S. Treasury
Secretaries Larry Summers and Timothy Geithner (both of whom have Bilderberg and Trilateral Commission pedigrees, with Summers
having served on Bilderbergs Steering Committee). That also was the year that Bilderberg
met in Portugal to discuss Redesigning the International Financial Architecture.
In a new report on battling tax evasion,
delivered April 14, 2016 to the G20s Washington
meeting with the Panama Papers fresh in
everyones mind, OECD Secretary-General
Angel Gurra said: [A] number of jurisdictions
have yet to properly implement the exchange of
tax information on request, first agreed [to] in
2009. He also informed the G20: Our standards
on tax transparency are robust. They need to be
effectively implemented worldwide, by everyone, with no exceptions, so theres nowhere left
to hide.

embarrass AFP and any other media that
had reported other tentative locations for
the Bilderberg 2016 meeting, was placed at
the bottom of never-changing, general information about the Bilderberg meetings
that has been posted on the groups website
for several years.
A similar thing happened in early 2013
when James P. Tucker Jr., who passed
away in April of that year, had reason to believe that the secretive conference for 2013
would take place in Chantilly, Va., though
the conference ended up taking place that
June in Watford, UK.
The Dresden gathering will be the
groups 64th meeting and the 6th meeting
in Germany, the last one there having been
in May 2005 in Rottach-Egern in the southern Bavarian region near the Austrian border. Dresden is in the central-eastern region
near the Czech Republics border.
The criminals, as Tucker referred to
them, will most likely stay at the Hotel
Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden. H

Mississippis Flag Is Making Me Sick!

Black attorney says Confederate symbolism on Southern flag causing his bad health

have begun their assault on the
last state to fly a flag containing Confederate
battle imagery: Mississippi.
It was Republican Gov. Dewey Phillip Bryants
decision on Feb. 24 to proclaim April Confederate Heritage Month that brought the Magnolia
State into the crosshairs of the Cultural Marxists.
Although Confederate Heritage Month is not a
new event and had been issued by previous administrations, the blacktivists pounced on the
chance to rewrite history to their liking. Bryant,
a white Mississippi native, chose April 25 for
Confederate Memorial Day, which is also observed as a state holiday.
Less than a week after Bryants proclamation,
a black personal injury lawyer, who recently rebranded himself as a civil rights attorney, filed
a federal lawsuit against Bryant seeking to declare Mississippis state flag an unconstitutional
relic of slavery.
I got sick and tired of being a second-class
citizen, said Carlos E. Moore, the only partner
of the four-member all-black Moore Law Group
in Grenada, Miss.
Moore revealed his vendetta against the governors decision in an interview with a black website: That was very vile. That was very offensive.
I think it was intentional. It was an insult to every

African-American in Mississippi. He did it during

Black History Month. Were gonna make him pay
for that offense, and that flag is gonna come
down.
Moore replied to an email seeking comment on
the suit: The state flag with its Confederate emblem represents white supremacy, slavery, beatings, rape, lynchings, murders, insurrection, and
treason. . . . It is a constant reminder of the oppression African-Americans had to endure in the
past and an implicit threat that it could happen
again. Removing the flag will change the hearts
and minds of many in Mississippi because it will
let those stuck in the past know that the state no
longer sanctions or ratifies racial bigotry.
Moore, 39, argued in front of the judge assigned to the case that the Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage protects a
fundamental right of dignity, and the flag violates
his dignity and that of other American blacks.
Claiming the flag creates a hostile work environment for him in courthouses where it flies,
and that anxiety has created more stress in my
life and has probably contributed to or caused
the exacerbation of medical ailments, including
but not limited to hypertension, insomnia, and
abnormal EKGs, Moore is no ordinary ambulance chaser. Hes using his official website to
fund his mission to erase U.S. history by accepting donations:

Moore launched his lawsuit after no less than

12 different bills to change Mississippis flag, introduced by various state lawmakers, stalled in
committee before the Feb. 23 deadline.
Moores chances of success got a boost on
April 12 when U.S. District Court Judge for the
Southern District of Mississippi Carlton W.
Reeves called the flag anti-American, because
it represented secession.
Reeves, the second black federal judge from
Mississippi, nominated by President Barack Hussein Obama in 2010, ruled in 2014 that Mississippis same-sex marriage ban violated the Due
Process and Equal Protection Clauses of the
Fourteenth Amendment.
It seems Reeves, however, will base his ruling
on whether or not federal court is the proper
venue for such a case, whether Moore has legal
standing to sue, and whether he is able to prove
he has been harmed by the flag. Another question
Reeves will address is whether flag design is
something that can be decided by a court.
Interestingly, Mississippi, which contains the
highest percentage of blacks, 37%, of any U.S.
state, voted in 2001 to keep the current state flag,
in use since 1894, via a statewide referendum.

PayPals Duplicitous Practices

PayPal doesnt really care about people; it cares about maintaining massive profits

ayPal cares. Or at least the online

banking giant wants you to think
they do, as they issue statements
filled with bromides about fairness
and equality in the wake of their
decision to terminate a planned 400person facility in Charlotte, N.C. But do they
really care? You know, about the equality in all
those countries they do business in?
Lets take a look. PayPal is silent on the treatment of lesbians, gays, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) people on their long list of partner
countries, including Saudi Arabia that executes
homosexuals, as well as Cuba, Singapore, and
Malaysia that imprison them. Oh, and PayPal apparently has no problem employing Malaysians
to do what North Carolinians cant do. Excluding
the possibility that PayPal is just plain hypocritical, this leads to an obvious conclusion: PayPal
is hostile to democracy, and prefers tyranny.
After all, PayPal decided to locate in Charlotte
after the people of North Carolina voted resoundingly in 2012 against same-sex marriage. PayPal
was still willing to do business with them then.
Shouldnt they have reproached North Carolina,
or did PayPal simply act in a knee-jerk fashion in
accordance with the news cycle? If PayPal were
truly consistent, there would be few transactions
conducted in the Muslim world, where LGBT
people enjoy few of the privileges of their Western counterparts.
PayPal, as an American entity, has the freedom
to locate wherever its leadership likes, and we
wouldnt presume to tell them otherwise. However, when they seek to punish North Carolinians
for enacting a law regulating their own facilities,
barring transgendered people or anybody else
from using opposite-sex bathrooms and locker
rooms in public schools and other government
buildings, PayPal is engaging in small-scale economic imperialism.
To the point, PayPal is imposing their preferences on states that legislate against their preferences via democratic processes, while ignoring
policies in countries that are truly hostile to their
stated values.
PayPal is hardly isolated in its preference for
tyranny over democracy, as their seeming act of
protest is in reality part of a larger phenomenon,
the Californication of American society, where
California-like values are forcibly imposed by
elites.
Silicon Valley and Hollywood are exerting a
corporate conformity to elite values rather than
to democratically enacted laws and their under-

will of most states to preserve traditional marriage.

weddings that contradict their beliefs.
PayPal is complicit in this, but not alone. What
is clear is that democracy in North Carolina and
across the country is being subjected to values
arrived at yesterday in the boardroom or the

courtroom, but not on Main Street itself.

Lt. Gov. Dan Forest was well within his rights
when he said if the new law protects one child or
one woman from being molested or assaulted,
then it was worth it. He added that North Carolina will never put a price tag on the value of our
children . . . they are precious and priceless.
If North Carolina officials determine there is a
public safety issue at stake, or if the state wants
to forbid male students from dressing up as females to get into the girls locker room, who is
PayPal to dispute that?
Some Americans may think that they are freer
when these corporate elite values are forced into
law and policy, but in reality, they are now more
likely to be compelled to act against their conscience than ever. Rights Americans once took
for granted have now taken a back seat to enforcing the expediency of the day.
The power of North Carolina to define how to
regulate its own facilities is clearly protected in
the 10th Amendment. That explicit grant of the
power of states to make their own law stands in
contrast to more recent rights contrived to supplant it.
These new rights not explicitly provided for in
the Constitution do not limit government, but instead use it as a cudgel to promote conformity,
by PayPal as an example, and undermine the very
essence of democracywhich is the legislatures
primacy in making law.

employee of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) confirms what
many AMERICAN FREE PRESS readers have suspected for decades:
the revenue collecting arm of the
U.S. Department of the Treasury is a rogue
agency whose range is only limited by the
amount of power each employee can grab. In
fact, the IRSs culture is one that rewards
aggressive collection of taxes, and encourages
violating the due process clauses of the 5th and
14th amendments of the Constitution.
Richard M. Schickel was not just a life-long
IRS revenue collector, but a highly regarded,
and awarded, one as well. Not only did he receive 65 performance awards, a record, including the Albert Gallatin Award, Treasurys highest
honorary career service award, but he received
a letter from President Ronald Reagan for saving the life of a nine-year-old girl in a burning
house, while in the field (a fascinating story detailed in the book).
He also wrote a book called Asset Recovery
Guide for the IRS, which is still in use, and was
a whistleblower punished by IRS for reporting
cases of inequality in the application of the tax
laws, including abuse techniques used to single
out and punish taxpayers.
His new book, IRS Whistleblower: My 33
Years as an IRS Insider Will Show You the Secrets of How to Engage the IRS and Win, details
his 33 years at IRS, revealing warts-and-all, as
well as a how-to-guide to interacting with the
hated agency.
AFP caught up with Schickel and conducted
a 30-minute exclusive interview with the former
revenue henchman, who started off by explaining what he did for the IRS.
I was a senior revenue officer, he began,

house, your car, your business, whatever it was,
in an effort to collect taxes.
Schickel worked 22 years in Chicago and 11
in Tucson, retiring in December 2013.
AFP asked Schickel the motivation for the
book.

was just shocked with the discrimination I saw.

The uneven application of the tax laws wasnt
the only reason he wrote the book, however.
The biggest reason was I was outraged that
the IRS pays out $50 billion every year in false
refunds, he said. Why are we allowing this
agency that has such power and control over us
to do this? I thought this was something that
people need to learn about.
The central themes of the book are power,
fear, and abuse.
Part of the book is my memoirs, he explained, and part of it is about how the IRS
abuses people and how I abused people with my
official powers, and how the taxpaying community abuses the IRS, by filing fraudulent returns.
So, he continued, part of the book makes
me want to go down to Belize, which doesnt
have an extradition treaty with the United
States, and file tax returns. Because the IRS will
send you checks.
The book details how the one constant with
all IRS employees is fear, an everyday fear of
doing something wrong.

I remember one case where I went out and

collected from a prominent person who was in
the newspaper at least once a week, he said. I
knocked on the door of his house, and I left a
letter with his housekeeper. He owed $1 million,
and the next day, there was a certified check sitting in my office for $1 million.
An amazing accomplishment you might think,
but not in the IRS.
I felt pretty good about myself that day,
Richard explained, so I went into the managers
office and said, Wow. Look, it cost very little
money. I drove up and knocked on the door, and
I got a check; the case is closed. And the manager gave me a negative recommendation because I hadnt filed a notice of federal tax lien
within so many days of receiving the case.
Schickel explained how this type of reaction
to a job well done filters down to the rest of the
workforce.
Other employees see that and it makes them
reluctant to go and show off anything good that
they were doing, he said. So its kind of like
hunker down, stay hunkered down, be productive, and always get to the next case. Youre not
doing enough.
He also explained why the job was so difficult.
This kind of work was mentally and emotionally exhausting, he said. I wasnt just a tax
collector, because you get involved in peoples
lives. I was a marriage counselor, a social
worker, a financial advisor, because I had to go
in and find out what went wrong in peoples
lives that they owed these taxes.
AFP asked why someone should spend $20 to

The biggest part of IRS is about fear, he explained, and I teach in the book how to talk to
the IRS and how to take away the power they
have over you by getting yourself together before you go and talk to them. This book explains
the rights that you have. You need to know the
secrets of the IRS, and part of it is procedural.
He continued: When you take away the fear,
you give people hope, and that was the idea of
the book.
For those who owe taxes, there is a light at
the end of the tunnel.
Even if you do owe taxes, Richard explained,
the IRS only has 10 years to collect.

Bailout for Puerto Rico

Will U.S. taxpayers be on the hook for $73 billion in debt?

ankruptcy, bailout, breakdown, or a

federal financial control board:
these are some of the options facing
Puerto Rico, an island-territory in
the midst of an economic death
spiral. With $73 billion in government debtthree times what Detroit recently
facedPuerto Rico has seen negative gross
domestic product (GDP) growth rates in eight of
the last 10 years.
Unable to meet its obligations, Puerto Rico
went into default last August. Spooked by this
crisis, over 10% of the islands population has
fled, many to the mainland U.S. Of those adults
who remained, only 40% have jobs.
Without productive professionals and highly
skilled laborers, Puerto Ricos revenue base has
plummeted. Also, real estate prices have tanked,
with homeowners oftentimes only receiving 40
cents on the dollar for their property.
Most alarming, though, is the dramatic drop in
bond values.
Approximately 30% of Puerto Ricos debt is
held by everyday citizens whove lost tens of
thousands of dollars. Another 15% of these bonds
are carried by mainland U.S. citizens who now
fear that their paper is worthless.
Puerto Ricos problems can be traced to a phenomenon that also plagues the rest of the U.S.,
namely, bloated, corrupt government. The tiny island employs 78 mayors. One-third of all workers

report each day to government jobs.

In addition to frivolous spending, Puerto
Ricos businesses are strangled by burdensome
regulations.
Despite all these alarm bells, politicians kept
their heads in the sand year after year and failed
to correct a looming financial catastrophe.
On April 7, AFP contacted Charles VenatorSantiago, a political science professor at the University of Connecticut, to provide insights into
what is going on in Puerto Rico today.
Venator informed AFP: The growth of Puerto
Ricos economy is lower than that of Haiti. Since
Puerto Ricos economy is stagnant, and because
they cant borrow from China like the [mainland]
U.S. can, theyre totally reliant on the Federal Reserve and Congress for funding.
The reason behind this quandary is found in
Puerto Ricos status as an unincorporated territory
of the U.S. Such an arrangement troubles Venator.
Theres a problem with Puerto Rico being
bailed out because [Washington] may want to privatize the island, which means a decrease in their
sovereignty, he said. Plus, for decades, Puerto
Ricos political system has been devastated by
corruption and clientelism where elected officials gave jobs to their friends. Ultimately, all
these politicians know that theyre beholden to
the Congress.
Venator further elaborated: 70% of Puerto
Rican pensions are bankrupted. They dont even
have enough money to pay for police cars and
firefighters. So, the question is: Does the government pay off its bank debt or fulfill pension
promises?

People outside of Wall street against cutbacks and

austerity measures forced onto the severely indebted
island of Puerto Rico last December.

On April 10, AFP also reached out to Dr. Nelson Coln Tarrats, the president of the Foundation Community of Puerto Rico, a nonprofit that
seeks to promote economic self-sufficiency for
the Caribbean island.
Coln lamented: Fiscal incompetence on the
governments part got them used to functioning
in an economic bubble. Artificial wealth was created, and when this bubble disappears, well
pretty much be in the tank.
As for remedies, Coln offered a suggestion:
We need to develop local wealth, not that which
is based around a highly centralized government.
Our hope is for solid community-based development and growth. Puerto Ricans were led to believe that, as a democratic country, they had
ownership of their destiny. They want the solution to be in their own hands, not somebody
elses.

of it, what do you get? Two things, actually:
You get a feeand then you get mad. This
is happening to millions of airline passengers who are discovering that the advertised price of a ticket isnt the half of it.
Airlines have added beaucoup fees, charging
us for items that previously wereand still
should befree. Peoples rage-ometers zing into
the red zone when they see that these fees-forformer-freebies will often more than double the
cost of a trip.
Like diabolical bankers did years ago, top executives of airline corporations have learned to
goose up prices and profitsas well as their own
payby nickel-and-diming customers. Only, their
fees are way more than nickels and dimes. For

example, say you schedule a flight, but something comes up and you have to change the time,
day, or destination. Bamairlines zap you with
a $200 fee. Basically for nothing.
Computers quickly make the change, costing
the corporation a mere pittance. But rather than
graciously accommodating your need and making you a satisfied customer, they pick your
pocket and make you angry.
Gouging and infuriating ticket buyers might
seem like a poor business model for the long
run, but airline CEOs these days insist that their
duty isnt to please consumersits only to
make their major stockholders happy by maximizing their short-term profits.
And, indeed, the rip-off is very lucrative for
the corporate elite. Airlines pocketed nearly $3
billion last year just from fees they charged passengers who needed to alter their flights.
Forget the old tales of railroad heists. This is
a great American plane robbery.

Will GOP Elite Derail Trump Train?

Plans already under way to convince delegates to abandon GOP frontrunner

en. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), the GOP establishment, and many segments of the
mainstream mass media are working
overtime to prevent billionaire Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump
from obtaining the GOP nomination and,
potentially, the White House.
Trump and his campaign staff, including most
notably Paul Manafort, a veteran political consultant who recently joined the Trump campaign, are on the offensive, openly declaring that
the system is rigged and corrupt following
Cruzs recent voterless victories in both Colorado and Wyoming, where it has been alleged
delegates supporting Trump were systematically
disfranchised and marginalized.
Trump supporters held a large rally in Colorado on April 15 to voice their frustration with
the delegate process, which they argue is unfair,
confusing, and outright rigged to prevent maverick candidates such as Trump from winning. Despite his popularity, Trump did not win even a
single delegate in the selection process in Colorado, where no vote was taken.
Theyre taking your vote away, Trump told
supporters at a recent rally in New York, where
the leading GOP candidate has been campaigning
the past week. Theyre disfranchising people.
Trump continued:
I say this to the RNC and I say it to the Republican Party: Youre going to have a big problem,
folks, because the people dont like whats going
on. What we have going is a movement. Now,
theyre trying to subvert the movement. They
cant do it with bodies. They cant do it with people because they dont have near the people that

In addition to dealing with the corrupt nature
of the Republican nomination process, Trump is
also facing hostile media coverage and large organized protests at his rallies and campaign
events. Trumps campaign and message have
triggered hysterical and unhinged reactions from
leftists and anti-Trump protesters for months
now. In recent weeks, radical feminists, anarchists, and other leftists disrupted the inaugural
meeting of the Students for Trump group at
Portland State University, resulting in the meeting being entirely shut down. During a recent
rally in Portland, a self-professed transgender individual spit in the face of a Trump supporter
and then shouted: Im a tranny. Go ahead, punch
a woman!
At Tulane University in New Orleans, the
Kappa Alpha fraternity enraged minorities and
social justice warriors by building a wall made
with sandbags with the message of Make America Great Again written across it. The makeshift wall, which was built on private property to

surround the fraternity house, is constructed

each year as part of a long-standing tradition of
the fraternity. In a video posted on YouTube, a
group of black anti-Trump protesters are shown
dismantling the wall, throwing the sandbags into
the street.
Latino students and other leftists at Tulane defended the actions of the individuals who tore
down the wall, arguing that the wall was filled
with connotations of hate and ignorance. Ana
De Santiago, a member of Tulanes Generating
Excellence Now & Tomorrow in Education
(GENTE) group, and other leftists took to social
media to generate support for the individuals
who tore down the wall.
These connotations most directly mocked
the experiences of Latino immigrants and workers throughout our nation, Ms. Santiago wrote
on Facebook. By writing Trump in large, red letters across the wall, KA [Kappa Alpha] changed
what was a tradition of building a wall into a tradition of constructing a border, symbolizing separation and xenophobia. This issue not only
affects Latinos but all other marginalized immigrant groups in this country.
Dillon Prez, an associate of Ms. Santiago,
stated: We fully understand that KA has a right
to freedom of speech, especially on their own
property, and GENTE respects that. However,
KAs right to free speech does not protect them
from the consequences of their speech; KAs
right to free speech does not negate our right to
freedom of speech to respond to their actions,
make our sentiments clear, and find solidarity
with others who see KAs actions as being intolerable on Tulanes campus.
Trump supporters on college campuses
across America continue to be targeted by the
enforcers of political correctness. On a number
of college campuses recently, Trump supporters
have used sidewalk chalk to write pro-Trump
messages on campus, once again creating controversy for a simple expression of the First
Amendment. Earlier this month, Hailey Puckett,
a member of the University of Tennessee at
Chattanoogas student government coalition,
was asked to resign by her fellow coalition members after it was discovered she had participated
in chalking pro-Trump messages on the schools
campus.
So much for free speech, at least when it
comes to expressing support for Trump.
The Trump team certainly has its work cut out
for itself as the primaries wrap up this summer
and the GOP prepares for the Republican National Convention, where a candidate will be
nominated to run in the 2016 general election.
Despite a commanding lead in the overall delegate count and a crushing lead in overall votes,
where Trump currently has over 2 million more
votes than his nearest rival, the prospect of a
brokered convention and eventual nomination
of Cruz is a very real possibility.
Will the GOP party establishment and Cruz
campaign derail the Trump train? Time will tell,
and theres no doubt Trump will be fighting until
the very end.

n the race for the Republican nomination,

Donald Trump would seem to be sitting in
the catbird seat. He has won the most
states, the most delegates and the most
votesby nearly 2 million. He has brought
out the largest crowds and is poised for
huge wins in upcoming primaries.
Yet there is a growing probability that the
backroom boys will steal the nomination from
him at a brokered convention in Cleveland.
In early April, Colorado awarded all 34 delegates to Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas). The fix had been
in since August, when party officials, alarmed at
Trumps popularity, decided it would be best if
Colorado Republicans were not allowed to vote
on the partys nominee. After all, these poor folks
might get it wrong.
In South Carolina, where Trump swept the primary, a plot is afoot for a mass desertion of Trump
delegates after the first ballot. The Republican
Party in Georgia, another state Trump won, is also
talking up delegate defections. In state after state,
when Trump wins and moves on, the apparatchiks arriveto thieve delegates for Cruz.
This is a crooked system, folks, says Trump,
the system is rigged. . . . I go to Louisiana. I win
Louisiana. . . . Then I find out I get less delegates
than Cruz because of some nonsense. . . . I say
this to the RNC. I say it to the Republican Party:
Youre going to have a big problem, folks, because the people dont like whats going on.
Something rotten is also going on in the Democratic race.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.) was on a roll, having
won seven straight primaries and caucuses. Yet
he keeps falling further behind.
I watch Bernie, he wins. He wins. He keeps

winning, winning, said Trump in Rochester.
And then I see, hes got no chance. They always
say hes got no chance. Why doesnt he have a
chance? Because the system is corrupt.
Sanders seems to be shorted every time he
wins a primary or caucus. And the insurmountable hurdle he faces was erected against folks
like Sanders some time agothe 700-plus superdelegates.
These are Democratic congressmen, senators,
governors, and party officials. By more than 101, close to 500 of these superdelegates have lined
up to back Hillary Clinton and stop Sanders.
The Democratic Party believes in democracy,
up to a pointthat point being that Democratic
voters will not be permitted to nominate a candidate to whom the party elites object.
Richard Nixons 49-state triumph in 1972 cured
the Democrats of their naive belief in democracy.
The George McGoverns and Bernie Sanderses
can run. But they wont be allowed to win.
Yet, since it is Trump and Sanders who have
stirred the greatest passion and brought out the
biggest crowds, if both are seen as having been
cheated by insiders, then the American political
system may suffer a setback similar to that
caused by the corrupt bargain of 1824.
Andrew Jackson ran first in the popular vote
and the Electoral College, but was short of victory. John Quincy Adams, who ran second, got
Speaker Henry Clay to deliver the House of Rep-

resentatives, and thus make Adams president.

Clay became Adamss secretary of state.
In 1828, Jackson got his revenge, winning the
presidency. Clay would never make it. On his
deathbed, Jackson confided that among the great
regrets of his life was that he did not shoot Clay.
While the turnout in the Democratic primaries
and caucuses has not matched the Obama-Clinton race of 2008, Sanders has rallied the young
and working class, turned out the biggest
crowds, and generated the greatest enthusiasm.
But on the Republican side, the party has had
the largest turnout in American history. And the
reason is Trump.
And if, after having won the most votes and
delegates, Trump is seen as having been swindled
out of a nomination he won, by intraparty scheming in Cleveland, the GOP could suffer a self-inflicted wound from which it might not recover.
Another matter that could prevent a return to
national unity? The deepening split over trade
and foreign policy, both between the parties, and
within the parties.
Sanders, recently, was saying that what disqualifies Mrs. Clinton as president is her support
for free trade deals that gutted American industry
and cost millions of jobs and her support for an
Iraq War that was among the costliest, bloodiest
blunders in U.S. history.
On both issues, Trump agrees with Sanders.
Cruz, an uber-hawk and free trader, is more
aligned with Mrs. Clinton.
If the America first stance on foreign and
trade policy, close to a majority position today, is
unrepresented by either party this fall, and we get
a free trade, pro-war president, the divisions
within the country will widen and deepen.
If Sanders and his revolution are sent packing
in Philadelphia, and Trump is robbed in Cleveland of a nomination Americans believe he won,
political disillusionment, and political realignH
ment, may be at hand.

from both the left and right demonstrate the
extent to which his presidential candidacy has
shaken up the political establishment. The
controlled mass media, in particular, has devoted
endless hours to covering his every move and
statement in an attempt to discredit the American
populist.
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, the nationally renowned talk radio host, author, and political
commentator, recently spoke with AMERICAN
FREE PRESS in an exclusive interview to discuss
the Trump phenomenon. Peterson, a black conservative who has been involved with the Republican Party for over 20 years, offered praise for
the Republican front-runner in the wide-ranging
interview.
Im so inspired by him. I cant tell you the last
time Ive seen a man in such a public way deal
with the issues of life in the way that he is, Peterson explained to AFP. Donald Trump is truly
a man of character, because if he wasnt he would
not be able to handle the things he has had to
thus far. This man is attacked by the Republican
establishment as well as the Democrats as well
as the liberal media, and so you would have to be
a man of character in order to handle things in
the manner that he has handled them.
Peterson is particularly impressed by Trumps
bold, uncompromising stance on immigration.
Trumps pledge to build a wall, deport illegal
aliens, and temporarily halt Muslim immigration
from the Middle East are entirely legitimate and
rational policy proposals, yet are dismissed as illegitimate or racist by the hostile mass media,
according to Peterson.
The liberal media and the Democrats dont
want to stop illegal immigration because [illegal
aliens] come in and they rely on the government
to take care of them, and they sign up with the
Democratic Party, Peterson told AFP. Once
they sign up, the Democrats have their votes.
Peterson believes Trump is the only presidential contender that is willing to tackle the nations
disastrous immigration crisis head on.

him to speak truth to power and inject marginalized public policy proposals into the mainstream.
He has altered the political discourse in America
forever, according to Peterson. It will never be
the same again, Peterson told AFP.
Many segments of the GOP establishment
have denounced Trump, with some neocons
pledging to either run a third-party candidate or
vote for Hillary Clinton. A number of conservative pundits have also derided Trump, claiming
the politically incorrect candidate is destroying
the Republican Party and does not represent the
traditional conservative movement, a contention
with which Peterson strongly disagrees.
I became a Republican because I like the platform of God, country, and Constitution, freedom
and individuality, and I thought that the Republicans represented that, Peterson explained to
AFP. Now that Donald Trump is running, I can
see that they are no different than the Democrats.
They are for themselves; their jobs are careers

for them. They are all in this little game togetherthey are all buddiesand Donald Trump
is going to destroy that. They are no different
than the Democrats.
Many have speculated that the GOP may attempt to steal the nomination from Trump at the
upcoming Republican Convention. If that happens, its over for the Republican Party, Peterson stated. The voters who are supporting
Trump would never vote for anyone the establishment recommends.
Trump is handling a very hostile media and political environment masterfully, according to Peterson, and should he win the election, political
correctness is over.
The liberal media will not be able to intimidate white Americans when they speak the truth
about the black race or anyone. They are not
going to be able to get away with calling them
racist, Peterson predicted. They are not going
to be able to control the hearts and minds of the
people. The people are hungry for a man like
Donald Trump. Its like weve been enslaved for
the past eight years. Weve been shut down from
speaking the truth. Weve been attacked by the
radical homosexuals, and theyve been getting
away with it because the media supports them.
White Americans have lost jobs for telling the
truth or disagreeing with black people. Those
days are numbered now if Donald Trump is
elected, and the liberal media understands that.
Peterson also believes Trump has the potential
to unite all patriotic Americans, and is seeing
more and more black Americans support Trump
than any other GOP candidate in decades.
Ive been a Republican for 27, 28 years now,
Peterson noted, and Ive never seen black folks
support a Republican as they are with Donald
Trump.
The 2016 presidential election is shaping up to
be one of the most significant elections in modern American history. Time will tell whether or
not Trumps populist message can unite the
American people and provide solutions to the
many crises facing this nation. Peterson, for one,
is hopeful Trump will do just that.

House Panel Revisits Issue

of Women in Combat Zones
Pentagon has approved it, but House panel says bad idea

of whether women should fight on
the front lines was addressed at
the Rayburn House Office Building
in Washington, where Rep. Duncan
Hunter (R-Calif.) and a distinguished panel hit the
issue head onconcluding that such a fundamental shift in military policy is a terrible idea.
The problem is, however, according to Hunter
and the panel, Defense Secretary Ash Carter
through an executive action had already decided
the matterhaving decreed in December that
women entering the armed forces, regardless of
their military-career choices and related job
placements, can be sent to the front to fight
alongside men.
According to a Pentagon press release dated
Dec. 3, Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced . . . that beginning in January 2016, all
military occupations and positions will be open
to women, without exception. For the first time
in U.S. military history, as long as they qualify
and meet specific standards, the secretary said
women will be able to contribute to the Defense
Department mission with no barriers at all in
their way.
Carter was quoted as saying, Theyll be allowed to drive tanks, fire mortars and lead infantry soldiers into combat. Theyll be able to
serve as Army Rangers and Green Berets, Navy
SEALs, Marine Corps infantry, Air Force parajumpers, and everything else that was previously

Hunter and the panelists, including retired
Marine gunnery Sgt. Jessie Jane Duff and former Army helicopter pilot Amber Smith, concurred that they still sharply disagree with
imposing gender quotas on the armed forces.
They rapped a legislative proposal by Rep.
Loretta Sanchez (D-Calif.) that calls for a 20%
increase in gender-based quotas at the military
service academies, according to the Center for
Military Readiness (CMR).

A CMR news release added, The missions of

Army and Marine infantry, armor, artillery, and
Special Operations Forces have not changed,
and all of them require superior physical
strength. Congresswoman Sanchez continues to
push for women to be assigned to these units,
even though more than 30 years of research and
tests have not produced empirical evidence that
women are interchangeable with men in the
combat arms.
Ms. Smith is a senior fellow of the Independent Womens Forum (IWF), while Ms. Duff is a
senior fellow with the London Center for Policy
Research (LCPR). Both women stated their opposition to such quotas because strict basictraining standards would have to be lowered so
more women would make the grade.
That, they added, would erode the training
standards for the male soldiers and hurt overall
combat readiness. The former soldiers said
thats unacceptable and maintained that women
should remain in auxiliary positions and not
enter frontline infantry units.
Furthermore, two other LCPR senior fellowsArmy Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer (ret.) and Air
Force Major Gen. Bob Newman Jr. (ret.)noted
that mens natural protectiveness toward women
inevitably would creep into the theater of battle
and create problems.
Accordingly, Hunter, himself a former soldier
who saw action in Afghanistan, described in
gory detail that the infantry is the tip of the
spear, whose grim task is to destroy the enemy
by ripping their throats out in brutal, sometimes up-close combat.
Obvious differences in womens and mens
psychological makeups, muscle mass and
strength, endurance etc. were also pointed out.
Finally, thousands of years of tradition, in
which men fight to protect hearth and home, including women as nurturers, are being overturned,
the panel acknowledged, while concluding that
the military is no place for social experiments.
The nonpartisan Independent Womens Forum, a 501(c)(3) think tank, says its mission is to
improve the lives of Americans by increasing the
number of women who value free markets and
personal liberty while also supporting limited,
constitutional government.
The New York-based LCPR is a national security and energy research institution whose fellows include Lebanese-American Professor
Waled Phares, who was just named to the foreign policy team for Donald J. Trumps GOP
presidential campaign. Phares has been an advisor to the House of Representatives Caucus on
Counter Terrorism since 2007.
This AFP writer asked Hunter why Ash Carter
made this decision when Hunter himself said
during the panel discussion that Congress
should decide the matter.
Because no one told Carter that he couldnt,
said Hunter.
This reporter added: Meaning he did it because he can . . . like the act of a tyrant?
While Hunter was caught off guard by the
word tyrant, he concluded that its much harder
to roll back an executive decision once its a done
deal.

Following the release of the Panama Papers,
Ukraines president, Jewish oligarch Petro
Poroshenko, pushed the Rothschild Trust to
issue a statement that his investments hidden in
Panama were held for him in a blind trust by the
Rothschilds.
A few days later, Prime Minister Yatsenyuk,
who is Jewish, resigned, effective April 12. He
threatened that destabilization of the [Ukrainian] executive power . . . is inevitable, if after the
resignation, a new government is not formed.
Yatsenyuk was the post-coup leader chosen in
advance by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State
Victoria Nuland, who is also Jewish.
Though out of office, Yatsenyuk intends to
continue his influence and possible control over

She remains a U.S. citizen. Her convoluted
curriculum vitae is a model ofarguably criminalprivate-public revolving-door profiteering at
U.S. taxpayer expense.
Ms. Jaresko lost the prime minister bid, as
well as her cabinet post, but it probably matters
little to her. She used her taxpayer-funded fortune to buy Datagroup, a Ukrainian company
controlling 85% of the telecommunications
market in Ukraineproving again that banksters know how to profit from others misery. So
much for government reform.
Instead, Speaker of Parliament Volodymyr
Groysman, who is Jewish, was elected on April
14 by the Parliament as new prime minister.
Poroshenko protg Groysman and his new
cabinet are seen as Poroshenkos effort to consolidate control over the government. Groysman promised to fight corruption, but commentators are skeptical of any real change
occurring.
Ukrainians face major challenges to restoring
their nation. The U.S./Israeli-installed, Jewishdominated government is incompetent. The
nations currency is collapsing. Businesses and
infrastructure are dangerously neglected, ruined
or destroyed by war. The peoples savings and
economic security were stolen by international
plutocrats. Much of the country is ravaged by a
brutal and genocidal war against ethnic Russians and pro-Russian Ukrainians.
The Netherlands opposition to a closer
Ukraine-European Union alliance is a plus for
nationalism but economically deleterious for a
Ukrainian economy dissociated from Russia
and its allies.
Russia is suing Ukraine for repayment of a $3
billion loan and will accept no more delays in
the case. An already-broke Ukraine would not
survive a court order for payment.
Moreover, Russian President Vladimir Putin
told President Barack Obama he wants the new
Ukrainian government to start implementing the
Minsk peace accord agreement from February
2015 to bring an end to the U.S.-supported
ethnic cleansing of separatist Russians and
Ukrainians in Donbass and Donetsk.
Why the massive efforts to control and
exploit Ukraine? First, it is part of the effort to
topple Russia, the only nation presently capable
of standing in the way of world Zionist domination.
Second, many Jews are tired of the violent
occupation of Palestine. Todays Ukraine was
once Khazaria. Ukraine is the linchpin of a
hoped-for Greater Khazaria, extending from
north Africa through the Levant and Greater
Israel, up through the Caucasus and Eastern
Europe, to Berlin and the North Sea. This
Khazarian empire would be the geographic

U.S.-Trained Mercenaries in Yemen

Once again America is participating in the slaughter of innocent Muslim civilians

housands of Latin American mercenaries flooding into the battle-ravaged country of Yemen have been
trained by U.S. Special Forces and
are being paid by American companies with money from oil-rich Arab states, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Yemen is a tiny country on the southern end
of the Arabian Peninsula. It is now in the midst
of a bloody war, with Saudi Arabia bombing the
current Shiite government there.
The UAE, while a small nation, has one of the
worlds biggest military budgets. Its generals
have been educated in the West and have close
ties to London, Washington, and Tel Aviv. It has
played a significant, though secretive, role in the
Wests military operations in Afghanistan, Syria,
and Libya. Sources this writer spoke to suggested that, along with the Saudis, UAE Special
Forces have been part of covert operations targeted at Iran and the Assad government in Syria.

Houthi population of Yemen overthrew their
president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, a Saudi puppet
who had run the country as a dictatorship for 33
years. In 2015, he fled to Saudi Arabia as the
Saudis launched a war against the Houthis to reinstate him.
The Saudis lied to the West, claiming that the
Houthis were allies of Iran. It was a convenient
cover story to win the support of Washington,
London, and Tel Aviv for a war in Yemen. Since
then, Saudi and UAE warplanes have bombed the
country, killing at least 8,000 innocent people and
wounding 18,000. According to the UN, the Saudis
and their Arab allies have committed war crimes
by targeting schools, homes, and hospitals.
For years, the Saudis and the UAE have channeled billions of dollars to U.S. and British defense companies to take care of their mercenary needs in proxy wars across the region.
But their Yemen campaign has led to them hiring a small mercenary army to fight a ground
war while they bomb from the air and sea.

and paid for by the United Arab emirates
have been flocking to the Arabian peninsula
to wage war against the legitimate government of Yemen on behalf of the saudis and
other sunnis in the region. so far, the mercenary army that has been doing the bulk of
the fighting in that region is made up of
paramilitary fighters from Colombia, Chile,
Panama and el salvador, who have been
trained by the U.s. military. Charges of war
crimes have been leveled at the private soldiers of fortune, but limited news from the
area has made it difficult to confirm how
bad the situation truly is.

Grumman. The Saudis, because Yemen is next

door, have been running the war. The UAE has
been doing most of the hiring, with the bill now
in the tens of billions of dollars. It is being shouldered mainly by Saudi Arabia and the UAE,
though other Arab states like Jordan are involved, too, militarily and financially.
Equally noticeable is that a large percentage
of the mercenaries are from countries where the
U.S. spent tens of billions of dollars on military
training programs aimed at the so-called war on
drugs or leftist guerrillas. Those countries include Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, El Salvador,
and Colombia. Some estimates suggest there
may be tens of thousands of former soldiers
from those nations registered as mercenaries. A
large percentage of them would have been
trained by U.S. Special Forces.
In tandem with the ridiculous sums paid to
soldiers-for-hire outfitsor contractors, as the
mainstream media likes to call themthe U.S.
government and its defense companies have
been reaping massive profits from arms sales to
Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The latter has cleverly kept a low media profile in Washington

while courting favor with the White House. For

example, the UAE and the Pentagon have refused to publically discuss the UAEs handover
of its Al Dhafra base to the U.S. military and the
special permission granted to the U.S. Navy for
the use of Dubais Jebel Ali seaport.
According to Londons Independent newspaper, the Saudi war in Yemen, supported in practice by the U.S. and Britain, has been a disaster
because it has provided al Qaeda in the Arabian
peninsula with the ability to consolidate and increase its territory just as Western intervention
in Iraq, Syria, and Libya enabled the rise and expansion of the Islamic StateISIS.
Just as important is the fact that Washington
and London, by providing military expertise for
the vicious Saudi targeting of Houthi civilians,
and assisting with the hiring of mercenaries, are
adding more fuel to another potentially dangerous Middle East conflict. The Wests role in it exposes an increasing tendency of the Obama
White House to engage in proxy wars across the
region.

Too Much Aid for Israel, Says Public

Three-fifths of Americans now oppose massive wealth transfer to Zionist state

majority of Americans are convinced that the apartheid, terrorist,

genocidal, rogue nuclear state of
Israel receives too much foreign
aid from hardworking U.S. taxpayers, thanks to a corrupt
Congress. Far from heeding the cries of their
constituents, however, the weasels in Washington plan to increase the massive wealth transfer
by two-thirds, from over $3 billion per year to an
outlandish $5 billion per year, beginning in fiscal
year 2017. While Americas poor and elderly
suffer and our countrys roads and bridges decay,
political poohbahs indenture generations of our
children for the profit of sociopathic Zionist
warmongers.
On March 10, Google Consumer Surveys
conducted a single-question poll of adult Internet
users: The U.S. gives Israel over $3 billion
annually (9% of the foreign aid budget and more
than any other country). The amount is: Much
too much; Too much; About right; Too little;
Much too little. A third (32.5%, the plurality of
respondents) answered much too much, while
29.4% (the second-largest group) said too
much. In all, over three-fifths of respondents
(61.9%) believe Israel receives too much largesse
stolen from taxpayers pockets.
Since 1948, the United States has sent a
quarter of a trillion dollars, adjusted for inflation,
to the Zionist occupation government in Palestine. While a small portion in early years was
economic aid, mostand all of it nowis either
military or intelligence aid. According to the
news and commentary website Antiwar.com,
secret intelligence support may now have
reached an additional $1.9-$13.2 billion annually.
In addition, Congress and the president have
put Americans on the financial hook for billions
in loans and loan guarantees to Israel. If Israel
defaults, U.S. citizens must pay.
Almost unknown to nearly all Americans, the
Israeli regime is privileged in other ways, too.
According to a June 10, 2015 report by Jeremy M.
Sharp for the nonpartisan Congressional Research
Service, all other countries receive foreign aid in
installments. Thanks to a powerful Israel lobby,
however, the nuclear terrorist state receives all
of its funding in the first 30 days of the fiscal year.
Over $3 billion are deposited into an interestbearing account at the Federal Reserve. Israel
typically uses the tens of millions in interest to
reduce its loan obligations to the U.S. Thus,
hapless Americans essentially pay for Israels
bloody activities twice, while Israelis receive a
parasitic free ride.

Israels Rabbi yitzhak yosef has called for the deportation of all non-Jews from Israel to saudi Arabia. Although
many Israeli Jews do not agree with his views, the fact that the United states would send billions of dollars
with more billions plannedto a state that sponsors genocidal apartheid policies is abhorrent.

organizations, according to Antiwar.com, funnel
a similar amount of money to Israel, which is
then used to further that states militaristic and
imperialistic regional expansionism, war crimes
and crimes against humanity.
Israel likewise profits from $5.7 billion (2015)
in annual arms exports, mostly to Asia and the
Pacific, but also Europe and America. With so
much money rolling in from Israels militaristic
enterprises and its mostly unregistered foreign
agents in the U.S.i.e., Zionist charitable
organizationswhy does the wealthy Mideast
state need any U.S. foreign aid at all?
AFP has reported frequently on the dangers
posed by the Zionist state. Israel is a state
sponsor of terrorism, as its active support for the
Islamic State and similar groups destabilizing
Syria demonstrates. It engages in an active
program of genocide against native Palestinians,
including periodic barbaric military attacks on
civilians, destruction of homes and public
infrastructure, burning of farms, and poisoning
of water supplies. Israeli authorities carry out
regular, extrajudicial kidnappings and imprisonment of Palestinian children and youths, who
are then frequently abused while interned
without legal recourse.
In just three months this year, Israel Defense
Forces destroyed 523 Palestinian homes and
civilian structures in the West Bankan increase
of 275% over the same period the previous year.
The Israelis also continue massive expansion of
illegal Israeli settlements in Palestinian territory.

Israel is a racist, apartheid state that discriminates viciously against the native Palestinian
majority in work, housing, and politics. Even
hospital maternity wards have been segregated.
The head of half of Israels Jews, Sephardic Chief
Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, has called for the expulsion
of almost all non-Jews to Saudi Arabia, saying
they will be killed when the messiah arrives.
As we reported recently, all U.S. foreign aid
and assistance to Israel is illegal, because the
latter possesses nuclear weapons and is a nonsignatory of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation
of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). In fact, U.S. funding
of Israel has brought America into violation of
the NPT, as well. Apart from federal funding and
supply of the Israeli military, Jewish 501(c)(3)
non-profit organizations in the U.S., like the
American Committee for the Weizmann Institute,
funnel funds illegally to the Israeli nuclear
program. Yet far from preventing such heinous
behavior, the IRS actually has moved repeatedly,
including in 2008 under Jewish then-Commissioner Douglas Shulman, to block efforts to end
such abuses of the law.
Half of Americans, however, are so ignorant of
all this that they actually believe Palestinians
occupy Israeli land, and not the reverse. Still, it is
refreshing that most are tired of funding Israel. Do
your part, and tell Congress and the president to
obey the law. Tell them to stop funding Israel.

n early April, SU-24 fighter-bombers

buzzed a U.S. destroyer in the Baltic Sea.
The Russian planes carried no missiles or
bombs. Message: What are you Americans
doing here? In the South China Sea, U.S.
planes overfly, and U.S. warships sail
inside, the territorial limits of islets claimed by
Beijing.
In South Korea, U.S. forces conduct annual
military exercises as warnings to a North Korea
that is testing nuclear warheads and long-range
missiles that can reach the United States.
U.S. warships based in Bahrain confront Iranian subs and missile boats in the gulf. In January,
a U.S. Navy skiff ran aground on an Iranian island. Iran let the 10 U.S. sailors go within 24
hours. But bellicose demands for U.S. retaliation
had already begun.
Yet, in each of these regions, it is not U.S. vital
interests that are threatened, but the interests of
allies who will not man up to their own defense
duties, preferring to lay them off on Uncle Sam.
And America is beginning to buckle under the
weight of its global obligations.
Since we have no claim to rocks or reefs in the
South China SeaVietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia,
Brunei and the Philippines dowhy is this our
quarrel? If these rocks and reefs are so vital they
are worth risking a military clash with China,
why not, instead, impose tariffs on Chinese
goods? Let U.S. companies and consumers pay
the price of battling Beijing, rather than U.S. soldiers, sailors, and airmen.
Let South Korea and Japan build up their
forces to deal with the North, and put Beijing on
notice: If China will not halt Kim Jong Uns nuclear weapons program, South Korea and Japan
will build their own nuclear deterrents. Half a
century ago, Britain and France did.
Why must we forever deter and, if need be,
fight North Korea? And why is the defense of the
Baltic republics and East Europe our responsibility, 5,000 miles away, not Germanys, whose

economy is far larger than that of Russia?

Even during the darkest days of the Cold War,
U.S. presidents refused to take military action in
Hungary, Czechoslovakia, or Poland.
When Moscow intervened there, the U.S. did
nothing. When did the independence of Eastern
Europe become so vital an interest that we would
now risk war with a nuclear-armed Russia to ensure it? Under Article 5 of NATO, an attack upon
any of 28 allied nations is to be regarded as an attack upon all.
But is this the kind of blank check we should
give Turkeys Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who, a few
months back, ordered a Russian fighter plane
that crossed into Turkish territory for 15 seconds
be shot down? Do we really want to leave to this
erratic autocrat the ability to drag us into a war
with Russia?
When Neville Chamberlain in 1939 handed a
war guarantee to a junta of Polish colonels, who
also had an exaggerated opinion of their own military power and prowess, how did that work out
for the Brits?
America should not write off the Baltic republics or Eastern Europe. But we should rule out
any U.S.-Russian war in Eastern Europe and restrict a U.S. response to Russian actions there to
the economic and diplomatic. For the one certain

loser of a U.S.-Russian conflict in

Eastern Europe would be Eastern
Europe.
As for Iran, the U.S. intelligence
community, in 2007 and 2011, declared with high confidence that it
had no nuclear weapons program.
Since the Iran nuclear treaty was
signed, 98% of Irans enriched uranium has been shipped out of the
country. No more 20% enriched uranium is being produced. The Arak
reactor that could have produced
plutonium has been scuttled and reconfigured. Nuclear inspectors are
crawling all over every facility.
Talk of Iran having a secret nuclear-bomb program and testing intercontinental missiles comes from
the same folks who assured us that Iraq had
weapons of mass destruction.
The goal is the same: Stampede America into
fighting another war, far away, against a nation
they want to see smashed.
Since the end of the Cold War in 1991, this
country has been steadily bled and slowly bankrupted. We are now as overextended as was the
British empire in the 1940s. And like that empire,
we, too, are being challenged by nations that
seek to enlarge their place in the sunresurrected Russia, China, and Iran. And we are being
bedeviled by fanatics who want us out of their
part of the world, which they wish to remake according to their own faiths and ideologies.
Time for a reappraisal of all of the war guarantees this nation has issued since the beginning of
the Cold War, to determine which, if any, still
serve U.S. national interests in 2016. Alliances,
after all, are the transmission belts of war.
This is not isolationism. It is putting our country first, and staying out of other peoples wars.
It used to be called patriotism.

Congress Looks Into Toll Inflicted

on Veterans from Decades of War
Legislators want to know if psychiatric medicines are fueling vets suicide epidemic

Jolly (R-Fla.) have cosponsored the
Veteran Suicide Prevention Act (H.R.
4640) to study the connection between veterans death by suicide and
the use of psychiatric medication during the
past five years.
The fact that the legislation takes sharp aim
at the correlation between psychiatric medications and suicide is a positive sign in a bleak situation. Assuming the data wont be fudged by
Big Pharma lobbyists, an honest report may
help bring light to the known dangers of psychiatric medications.
Titus, a member of the House Committee on
Veterans Affairs, wrote in a statement supporting the bill: Data suggest that every 65 minutes
a veteran takes his or her own life. This is unacceptable. One way to address the problem is to
determine if any associations exist between suicide and medical treatments our veterans may
be receiving for service-related conditions. Accordingly, this bill is a prudent first step in ending this crisis and letting our troops know that
when they come home they are not alone.

of Psyched Out: How Psychiatry Sells Mental
Illness and Pushes Pills that Kill, published a
commentary online on April 7 that noted 22 veterans commit suicide every day and one in six
American service members is on at least one
psychiatric drug. The Veterans Affairs [VA] mental health budget has soared from less than $3
billion in 2007 to nearly $7 billion in 2014. From

2005 to 2011, the Department of Defense and the

VA increased their prescriptions of psychiatric
drugs by nearly 700%thats more than 30 times
faster than the civilian rate. The VA found that
80% of veterans diagnosed with PTSD were
given psychiatric drugs and, of these, 89% were
treated with antidepressants.
While skeptics of psychiatric medicine know
the danger that certain classes of psychiatric
medications have on the general public and veterans, the legislation would compel the Secretary of the VA to produce:
(1) the total number of veterans who died by
suicide during the five-year period preceding the
date of the enactment of this act;

(2) a summary of such veterans that includes

the age, gender, and race of such veterans;
(3) a comprehensive list of the medications
prescribed to, and found in the systems of, such
veterans at the time of their deaths, specifically
listing any medications that carried a black box
warning, were off-label, psychotropic, or carried
warnings that included suicidal ideation;
(4) a summary of medical diagnoses by
Department of Veterans Affairs physicians which
led to the prescribing of the medications referred to in paragraph (3);
(5) the number of instances in which the
veteran who died by suicide was concurrently
on multiple medications prescribed by Department of Veterans Affairs physicians;
(6) the percentage of veterans who died by
suicide who were not taking any medication
prescribed by a Department of Veterans Affairs
physician;
(7) the percentage of veterans referred to in
paragraph (1) with combat experience or
trauma (including, but not limited to military
sexual trauma, traumatic brain injury, and posttraumatic stress);
(8) Veterans Health Administration facilities
with markedly high prescription and suicide
rates of patients being treated at those facilities;
(9) a description of Department of Veterans
Affairs policies governing the prescribing of
medications referred to in paragraph (3).

This writer encourages everyone to support

the Veteran Suicide Prevention Act, because, if
followed honestly, the data would help establish
specific links between psychiatric drug use and
suicide.

as many as 250,000 since the year 2000, though
the VA claims only 51,000 suffer from it. How

Thank you for AFPs excellent coverage of Robert LaVoy Finicums murder.
I wish every American was as sorrowful
as I am about this senseless act of barbarism on the part of those officers involved. Now the cover-up begins.
It was a planned execution on an interstate highway, blocked off to all traffic but Finicums vehicle, and it was
videotaped with the executioners own
equipment. They are perfect psychos to
the rest of us, showing us how brazen
our controllers will be if we attempt to
spread truth about their tyrannical hold
on our dying republic.
An Internet statement I read that fits
perfectly this tragedy said: Whatever
remained of this constitutional republic
was murdered when they executed

Bring home the bombs

I hope Hillary Clinton does not win
the White House. Im sick of the past
four presidential terms. Clearly, they
have ignored the needs of the majority
of Americans. Bush Jr. and Obama
lied to us. Both have done the opposite
of their words. Bernie Sanders wants to
help us, but Im not sure of his foreign
policy, especially toward Israel.
I dont see how in the name of common sense we can continue to support
the regimes in Israel, Turkey, and Saudi
Arabia. When will our leaders learn to
bring home the guns and bombs and
start respecting other nations?
What is wrong with being friends
with others, without requiring them to

I have great admiration for Russia,

because they cherish their own sovereignty. I get more accurate news from

Truth about vaccinations

Thank you, AFP, for exposing the
bad effects of vaccinations. I have a

grandson, who was a perfect little child,

happy, talking, having fun at his oneyear birthday party. At 15 months old,
he was taken by my daughter to get a
vaccination. Then, that evening, he
stood by her screaming, holding his
head. My daughter wondered, What is
wrong with my poor son?
My grandson is 17 years old now and
cannot talk, dress himself or clean up.
He has to be held by a hand when at a
store or such, as he takes off, and has
an ankle bracelet, which the deputy has
had to use to track him down a few
times in the woods.
My daughter had two sons after this
poor child, and she said absolutely no
more vaccinations. Her sons are in the
eighth and tenth grade. All through their
school years, the teachers want the
boys in their classes to help teach the
other children because their brains
have been damaged by mercury in vaccinations.

As Ukraine Collapses, Europe Tires of U.S. Meddling

n April 10, Ukrainian Prime Minister

Arseniy Yatsenyuk resigned, just four
days after the Dutch voted against
Ukraine joining the European Union.
Taken together, these two events are
clear signals that the U.S.-backed coup in
Ukraine has not given that country freedom and
democracy. They also suggest a deeper dissatisfaction among Europeans over Washingtons addiction to interventionism.
According to U.S. and EU governmentsand
repeated without question by the mainstream
mediathe Ukrainian people stood up on their
own in 2014 to throw off the chains of a corrupt
government in the back pocket of Moscow and
finally plant themselves in the pro-West camp.
According to these people, U.S. government personnel, who handed out cookies and even took
the stage in Kiev to urge the people to overthrow
their government, had nothing at all to do with
the coup.
When Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland was recorded bragging about how the U.S.
government spent $5 billion to promote democ-

racy in Ukraine, it had nothing to do with the

overthrow of the Yanukovich government. When
Nuland was recorded telling the U.S. ambassador
in Kiev that Yatsenyuk is the U.S. choice for
prime minister, it was not U.S. interference in the
internal affairs of Ukraine. In fact, the neocons
still consider it a conspiracy theory to suggest
the U.S. had anything to do with the overthrow.
I have no doubt that the previous government
was corrupt. Corruption is the stock-in-trade of
governments. But according to Transparency International, corruption in the Ukrainian government is about the same after the U.S.-backed
coup as it was before. So the intervention failed
to improve anything, and now the U.S.-installed
government is falling apart. Is a Ukraine in chaos
to be considered a Washington success story?
This brings us back to the Dutch vote. The
overwhelming rejection of the EU plan for
Ukrainian membership demonstrates the deep
level of frustration and anger in Europe over EU
leadership following Washingtons interventionist
foreign policy at the expense of European security and prosperity. The other EU member countries did not even dare hold popular referenda on
the matterthey rubber-stamped the agreement.
Brussels backs U.S. bombing in the Middle
East, and hundreds of thousands of refugees produced by the bombing overwhelm Europe. The
people are told they must be taxed even more to

pay for the victims of Washingtons foreign policy.

Brussels backs U.S. regime change plans for
Ukraine and EU citizens are told they must bear
the burden of bringing an economic basket case
up to European standards. How much would it
cost EU citizens to bring in Ukraine as a member? No one dares mention it. But Europeans are
rightly angry with their leaders blindly following
D.C. and then leaving them holding the bag.
The anger is rising, and there is no telling
where it will end. In June, the United Kingdom
will vote on whether to exit the European Union.
The campaign for an exit is broad-based, bringing
in conservatives, populists, and progressives. Regardless of the outcome, the vote should be considered very important. Europeans are tired of
their unelected leaders in Brussels pushing them
around and destroying their financial and personal security by following Washingtons foolish
interventionism. No one can call any of these recent interventions a success, and the Europeans
know it.
One way or the other, the U.S. empire is coming to an end. Either the money will go or the allies will go, but it cannot be sustained. The
sooner the American people demand an end to
these foolish policies the better.

President Killary Clinton: A Very Scary Proposition

illary Clinton is proving to be the

teflon candidate. In her campaign
for the Democratic presidential
nomination, she has escaped damage
from major scandals, any one of
which would destroy a normal politician.
Hillary Clinton is a bought-and-paid-for representative of the big banks, the military-security
complex, and the Israel lobby. She will represent
these interests, not those of the American people
or Americas European allies.
The Clintons purchase by interest groups is
public knowledge. For example, CNN reports
that between February 2001 and May 2015 Bill
and Hillary Clinton were paid $153 million in
speaking fees for 729 speeches, an average price
of $210,000.
As it became evident that Hillary Clinton
would emerge as the likely Democratic presidential candidate, she was paid more. Deutsche
Bank paid her $485,000 for one speech, and Goldman Sachs paid her $675,000 for three speeches.

Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, UBS, and Fidelity Investments each paid $225,000.
Despite Hillarys blatant willingness to be
bribed in public, her opponent, Bernie Sanders,
has not succeeded in making an issue of Hillarys
shamelessness. Both of the main establishment
newspapers, the Washington Post and the New
York Times, have come to Hillarys defense.
Hillary is a war-monger. She pushed the
Obama regime into the destruction of a stable
and largely cooperative government in Libya
where the Arab Spring was a CIA-backed group
of jihadists who were used to dislodge China
from its oil investments in eastern Libya. She
urged her husband to bomb Yugoslavia. She
pushed for regime change in Syria. She oversaw the coup that overthrew the democratically
elected president of Honduras. She brought neoconservative Victoria Nuland, who arranged the
coup that overthrew the democratically elected
president of Ukraine, into the State Department.
Hillary has called President Vladimir Putin of
Russia the new Hitler. Hillary as president guarantees war and more war.
In the United States, government has been privatized. Office holders use their positions in
order to make themselves wealthy, not in order
to serve the public interest. Bill and Hillary Clinton epitomize the use of public office in behalf of

the office holders interest. For the Clintons, government means using public office to be rewarded for doing favors for private interests. The
Wall Street Journal reported that at least 60
companies that lobbied the State Department
during her [Hillary Clintons] tenure as secretary
of state donated a total of more than $26 million
to the Clinton Foundation.
According to WashingtonsBlog.com, All told,
the Clinton Foundation and its affiliates have collected donations and pledges . . . of more than
$1.6 billion, according to their tax returns.
According to the International Business
Times, Under Hillary Clinton, the State Department approved $165 billion worth of commercial
arms sales to 20 nations whose governments had
given millions to the Clinton Foundation.
Mrs. Clinton has escaped unharmed from so
many crimes and scandals that she would likely
be the most reckless president in American history. With the arms race renewed, with Russia declared an existential threat to the United States,
and with Hillarys declaration of President Putin
as the new Hitler, Hillarys arrogant self-confidence is likely to result in overreach that ends in
conflict between NATO and Russia.
Considering the extraordinary destructive
force of nuclear weapons, Hillary as president
could mean the end of life on Earth.
