Overview
This presentation will show a PULSE user how to insert the PULSE
Data Manager components in to either an existing PULSE project
or a new PULSE project.
This presentation will not cover operational details of the Data
Manager. If you want to learn more about how to actually use the
Data Manager, please refer to the PULSE Data Manager Getting
Started Guide attached.
It is recommended that if you are going to start a PULSE project
from scratch that you use a PULSE template which already has the
Data Manager components installed (see attached example).

Step 1: Open Task Organizer

Open a PULSE
project as normal

Conceptually the Calculator is a stack calculator like known HP pocket

calculators.
Data can be dragged from:
PULSE
A PDM Result
A file explorer (PULSE ASCII and UFF files)
to the Input stack when dropped to the stack the data are automatically
shown in the Input display.
Calculations are performed by selecting data and then clicking the appropriate
calculator button.
Multiple data sets can be selected the standard windows way be
holding down Shift and Ctrl
Results are automatically shown in the Output Display
All calculations work on spectral data or slices. Interpolation is applied semiautomatically when slice-data are based on different axiss. This allow for
averaging across different RPM run-ups/downs.
