will help in the production in terms of improving the operating time, operating cost, and
manpower. The project may also help by paving the way to even more expansion and an
increase competitiveness of the food industry, not to mention, higher profitability.
Productivity based on the technologies transferred/ utilized and technologies refined/
modified to suit the needs of the community

The machine was designed according to the purpose of this study which is to produce
coco sugar by coconut sap evaporation and crystallization combined in a single machine.
Based on the gathered data and results, the cost in making coco sugar granules using coconut
sap evaporation and crystallization process was comparatively cheaper than manual
production. Moreover, the machine was efficient and productive since the operating time is
less compared to manual production and also less number of manpower is utilized.
Increase in net income of beneficiaries
Cost-Benefit analysis was presented to determine the economic viability of the coco
sugar granules making machine. After calculating the production costs and benefits of the
produced coco sugar, it was found out that Municipal Women Coordinating Council of Lobo
was able to save Php 56.39 for every production which composed of 1000 grams of coco
sugar.
Number of beneficiaries

Coordinating Council of Lobo, the secretary and 2 other members of the said organization.
Program-specific outcomes
The developed machine done by the proponents of the study Design and Development
of Coco Sugar Granules Making Machine Using Coconut Sap Evaporation and
Crystallization Process is intended for Municipal Women Coordinating Council at Brgy.
Poblacion, Lobo, Batangas.
This study was conducted to provide an efficient machine that can improve the
production of coco sugar through coconut sap evaporation and crystallization. The developed
