Gokyo, a hidden valley with few glacier lakes and Everest Base camp has own meaning for
adventurous peoples. This is one of the popular and adventurous trek at higher places of
Khumbu valley. The Khumbu region is intelligibly one of the most popular and a spectacular
destination for adventure seekers and it offers the best opportunity to gain the Himalayan
experience. This trek begins with a dramatic scenic flight to Lukla and the trail follows many
farm villages with beautiful views of the high snowcapped peaks of the world, and to the famous
view point Gokyo ri and higher pass Cho La with the highest spot at Kalapathar for the
outstanding breathe taking panoramic view of glacier lakes, many higher mountains including
Mt. Everest. To visit the Everest Base camp, glaciers and lakes figuring in different shapes makes
you over whelming and glacier cracking sound makes you fear love.

Sagarmatha National Park is listed by world heritage sites, which cover Everest region and offers
the spectacular view of the highlights of higher mountains as well as friendly Sherpa people, who

Gokyo and Chola Pass Trek

Day 1 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft) & trek to Phakding-( 3 to 4 hours)

Day 2 : Phakding to Namche Bazaar-(5 to 6 hours) 3,440m/11,283ft
Day 3 : Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar
Day 4 : Namche to Dole-(5 to 6 hours) 4,200m/13,776ft
Day 5 : Dole to Machharmo-(4 to 5 Hours) 4,470m/ 14,663ft
Day 6 : Machharmo to Gokyo-(3 to 4 hours) 4800m/15,744ft
Day 7 : Rest day at Gokyo
Day 8 : Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,330m/17,483ft), and trek to Thaknak-(5 to 6 hours)4750m/15580ft
Day 9 : Thaknak to Cho-la Pass (5367m/17604ft) and to Dzongla- (6 to 7 hours)
