PROCEDURE
Regular attendance is required of students in all of their courses. Although students registered in online

courses regularly. Students may work ahead in their online courses, but they must engage in at least
one attendance activity (as defined above) each week in order to update their attendance record in the
course. Discussion forums should be completed during the week they are assigned, so that each
student will have the opportunity to interact with both the instructor and classmates on the issues

provide support in this responsibility, but it is the resident ITT Tech Dean who is responsible for
monitoring the online attendance of his/her students, communicating with the online support staff, and
advising students who are not meeting attendance expectations. The Manager of Student Support is
responsible for tracking the attendance of students enrolled at the Online Division.
