need to know about both candidates and their platforms.
Hillary Clinton. She grew up in Chicago, a heavily political city, and has been involved in
politics for most of her life. She has a law degree from Yale and has been a practicing lawyer for many
years. Clinton has also been a womens, childrens, and students rights advocate for a long time. Ive
been an advocate for many years, and I feel responsible to create change because Im empowered in the
position Im in and Im capable to bring social justice to the nation, says Clinton. Her experience
consists of being a practicing lawyer, a New York Senator for two terms, and being the former Secretary
of State.
Clintons platform focuses on bringing power to the middle class, protecting minority and
immigrants rights, womens rights, and a strong foreign policy. Clinton says, We need to accept and
support our neglected communities. We must work to ensure that everyone can earn higher wages,

Rubio says that being a child of an immigrant, has allowed me to be able to sympathize with people

work out of the poverty and into the middle class. Rubios experience consists of being a member of the
House of Representatives for Florida and being a member of the United States Senate in 2009.
Rubios platform focuses on lessening the economic gap between the upper class and working

will make the economy and education more favorable to the working class and poor and protect the
interest of those who work hard. He also says that he believes that states should have the power to
decide important issues such as same sex marriage.
