It seems like yesterday were just enrolling in FEU but now we are about to exit as strong

tamaraws bringing with us the heart of a champion. I know all of you are thankful to God and
just cant express your feelings right now because sleepless nights are somehow over unless you
cant sleep last night because youre too excited for today.
I know all of you are thankful because at last we are to receive a Bachelors degree and we all
know how tough it is to earn such. Above all, the one who deserves all the adoration, honor and
praises, God, I thank you for your unending grace to everyone and for giving us parents that
stayed with us until this day that we are about to receive the Diploma which is the evidence of all
our hardships and extraordinary experience here in FEU. To all the parents that are here,
Congratulations! You are essential part of these students success. (Palakpakan po natin ang ating
mga magulang, Ngayon graduate na tayo, sobrang saya nila dahil hindi mo sinayang ung
paghihirap nila sayo. Sila dapat ang una nating yakapin. As we go along and pursue our career,
we will be so busy in our professional growth and we slowly forget that they are growing old.
We never know the love of a parent till we became parents ourselves. And to my parents,
Rodrigo and Delia Baldo alam niyo naman kung gaano ko kayo kamahal. Maraming salamat po
sa pag-aalaga kahit ang tanda ko na at sa pagtitiwala po sa akin kahit maraming beses akong
hindi nakakauwi sa bahay dahil kungyari nag-aral mabuti. And one thing that youve done that
Ill always be thankful of is telling me about Jesus Christ. That was, that is and that will be the
greatest gift you could ever give to me. Its all because of Jesus that Im alive for without Him
surely I will not be able to accomplish this. I will not forget my score on my very first quiz way
back my first year in FEU, 29/70 in the subject Algebra. Im totally shocked because that low
score may pull me out of the scholarship which is my only means of studying in FEU. Moreover,
I have an Engineering Drawing subject which is Im worst at. I almost give up but the Spirit of
God enabled me to keep going and I still got just the right grade for me to maintain my
scholarship. Every time that I lose hope Ill just recite Psalm 23. And after Im ready to face the
battle again.
I want to thank all of my professors that impart knowledge and experiences to us. Humanities
and Social Sciences Department, IT Department, CE department and of course to the department
that is like a family to me, the Mathematics and Physical Sciences Department. Honestly, I
enjoyed more the life outside the school rather than in classroom thats why even though Im

always absent, when I say always, talagang madalas ung tipong isa na lang drop na! I did not
regret it. I will always remember the time that Im just a participant na lagi lang natatalo.
Pampakompleto lang ng line-up hanggang sa hindi na lang muna ko pinasasali kasi wala namang
bilang. Im really hurting that time but of course I have to accept kasi hindi naman talaga ako
magaling sa mga contests and totoo naman talagang nasasayang lang ang registration fee noong
mga panahong yun. But for unknown reason, I did not stop seeing myself competing. Until one
time I prayed to God, I present myself to Him, my desires and all of my motives. He had His
word to me in 2 Corinthians 12:10 and let me read it to you. That is why for Christs sake, I
delight in weaknesses, insults, hardships, in persecution and in difficulties. For when I am weak I
am strong. At that time, I feel the real weakness in me. I accept truly that I am weak and I really
cant pursue with my own strength. But God made me realize that it does not matter how weak I
think I am because in His mighty hands, my weakness makes room for His strength. And it is
through His power and His power alone that we can do amazing things. God started to work
mightily in my life as I met Mr. Benjamin Marciano, Mrs. Denisia Villaos and Mrs. Melinda
Lupague. Una ko pong nameet c Maam Mel sa Prob Stat. Nung parating po ung contest na
Mathematical Society of the Philipines Search for Senior Math Wizard, tinanong po ako ni
Maam kung kasali daw po ako pero sabi ko na hindi na kasi ako sinasali sabi ko magppraktis pa
po ako. But Maam insisted that I should join and she trained me well during her vacant hours.
To clarify things, at that time, they are not part of the coaching team but still they trained me and
definitely they are gifts from above. Many times I lost but the Big 3 did not give up, we had our
continuous training and we continually join contests. Marami po sa mga contests namin,
registration fees, food kapag nagttraining ay gastos po ni Mrs. Villaos kaya sobrang
nagpapasalamat po talaga ako sa kanila kasi napakabuti po nila, hindi naman po nadadagdagan
ung mga sweldo nila sa pagiging magulang namin pero ginagawa pa rin po nila. Maam Mel
kahit wala ka dito, sobra po akong nagpapasalamat sayo dahil ikaw ung naging nanay ko dito sa
FEU.

Ranier, Calvin, Charles, Robert at Teodi maraming slamat. At xempre sa magigiting na Thesis

mates ko, Erick, Jam at James, maraming salamat, sobra sobra akong nagpapasalamat na kayo
ang kagrupo ko.
We dont have the grip of our lives. We dont know if we still exist in this world tomorrow. There
are people spending a lot of time looking for themselves and searching for their souls but they
just end up empty. A lot of time is being wasted in our lives because we dont know the real deal
and which way we have to go. Im really hoping that someday youll get all you want, youll
become so rich and youll own a lot of properties so that you will start to realize that the true joy
does not come from these things but only from Christ alone. We all have philosophies that we
depend on and sometimes we have our own philosophy. But the truth is if your philosophy does
not come from Gods Word, then it is wrong. As written in Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one
takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition
and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. Only if well come to know
our true identity in Christ, things will never be the same and the real change that youve always
been dreamed of will take place in this society.
For I did not receive this award because of the GWA but God meant this for Him to earn your
precious time listening to His message for you. Knowing God is not enough. He wanted us to
live a selfless life with deep commitment to loving Him and loving people. But we can only do
this if we will die to ourselves and live for Christ. This is the essence of living a good life. I
know its tough because our sinful nature constantly urges us to satisfy ourselves but I tell you,
only God can bring out the best of you by conforming you to the image of His Son Jesus.
Brothers and sisters, I love you more than you will ever know, we must let God to be the center
of our lives and be victorious in our respective fields. We must pursue the goals He has designed
for our lives. Let our faith be on fire for Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who
comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek
Him. (Hebrews 11:6)
Congratulations Graduates! And may the Love of God, Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the
Power of the Holy Spirit enable you to depart from FEU with full of hope to claim the victory in
