Which Church did Christ Found?

Religion 2016
By Evan Acosta
As Christians, we know that Christ founded a sacred Church. It is
often disputed over which Church Christ founded, considering there are
over 40 major denominations. The word denomination is defined as,
A recognized autonomous branch of the Christian Church. Think of a
tree. A tree has branches, but it also has a trunk and roots that support
it. The trunk is Jesus Christ, the center of all the Christian
denominations, but the roots are where everything truly comes from.
The roots are the one true faith from which the other denominations
split, and this is the Catholic Faith. Lets look deeper into the proof that
the Catholic Faith is the original Church founded by Christ.
First off, the Catholic Church is the only existing church that was
founded by Christ personally. All other denominations have been
founded by humans such as Martin Luther, or John Wesley. In the
Gospels of the Bible, Christ tells Peter that he would be the foundation
of His Church. After Christ ascended, this church was the only Christ
worshipping religion, with Peter being the head of it as the Pope. The
role of the Pope has been handed down to his successors, and theirs,
and so on for over 2000 years, which also shows that the Catholic Faith
has been around much longer than any other denomination.
Next, we can see that the Catholic Faith is based on the Bible.
You might be thinking, Isnt every Christian denomination based on
the Bible? and to some extent you would be correct. Why do we have
over 100 different types of Bibles? Again, there was an original bible,
which was altered by those wanting to form their own denominations.
In these bibles, books are left out with parts that the founders didnt
approve of, and books are added which allow things contrary to Gods
true Church. The Catholic Faith only approves of bibles with the same
books as the original bible, and ones that havent altered the text to
mean other things then were originally intended.
In addition to this, the Catholic Church is not contrary to anything
found in the original bible other denominations are. Sure, they may
obey the laws and practices found in their bibles, but we have to
remember that they are merely faded versions of the first bible. Christ
didnt intend for there to be any division at all with religion or sacred
scripture as seen in 1 Corinthians 1:10; I urge you, brothers, in the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say,
and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the

same mind and in the same purpose. The Church that Christ built
upon Peter is the only Church that directly corresponds with the Bible.
It is clear now that one Church, and only one Church, was
founded by Jesus Christ, which is the Catholic Church. All other
denominations come from human founders over 100 years after
Catholicism existed, and these were created because the founders only
wanted to recognize certain parts of the Catholic Faith. They cherrypicked and added different parts from the Bible. Then they made their
own versions of the Bible, which their denominations would use for
worship. We saw that the Catholic Church is the only Church that is
flawlessly interwoven with the first, true bible, and that the doctrines
that we celebrate today come directly from it, through the Pope who
has authority over the whole Church, and his bishops who serve under
him. The Catholic Church is the Church that Christ founded, and the
one to which all should be led to to serve God rightfully.
