Dear Friends,
The Annual International Conference of the Society of Free Radical Research-India
(SFRR-India) is held every year to enhance knowledge through sharing experiences of
innovations and novel ideas in free radical research. The past SFRR-India meetings
have provided platforms for the researchers, academicians and clinicians to stimulating
and interactive brainstorming for the holistic knowledge on the current advances and
ongoing projects free radical biology, chemistry and pharmacology to further
translational research. The other major endeavors of SFRR-India has been to inform
the common people about the harmful/ beneficial impact of free radicals in human
health; devise strategies to mitigate/harness the impact; and inform the policy makers
for better life quality. To this end, SFRR-India is promoting our young and future
scientists to actively participate in its Swasth Bharat program, in line with the
philosophy of the honorable Prime Minister, India. It is heartening to note the national
and international piers and participants of the 13th SFRR-India conference, held in
2014 particularly appreciated the participation of even under-graduate budding
scientists, since they felt that such an encouragement is essential and typical of India.
We are honored by these feedbacks.
The next conference of our Society has been planned as an academic feast at
the College of Medicine & JNM Hospital, WBUHS, Kalyani, Kolkata, reputed as a
premier institute of India for its significant contributions in building the next generation
of scientists/researchers and translational research. While maintaining the major
objectives of our Society, the conference aims to provide advanced deliberations by
eminent scientists from India and abroad to foster industrial and medical free radical
research for societal benefits. Considering the pleiotropic physiological effects of nitric
oxide, this years conference is also planned to specifically deal with nitric oxide
biology.
Such an endeavor can only succeed by the financial support of the Indian
industries, coupled with the active participation of the professionals. The organizing
committee warmly welcomes you to contribute to the conference to achieve our
objectives. Looking forward to meet you all in January, 2016. Please plan your trip well
in advance to be part of us and enjoy the scientific deliberations as well your stay in
Kalyani, West Bengal, India.
