Institutional/Program Outcomes
The Institution shall produce graduates who:
a. depict integrity in character and who relentlessly display their faith, accountability and service to God and fellowmen;
b. are effective leaders and managers in their respective professions armed with strong research foundation and who undergo continuing
education; and
c. can preserve and promote Filipino historical and cultural heritage and can work effectively as multicultural individuals
The Teacher education Program shall produce teachers who:
a. have strong foundations in education historical, social, philosophical, cultural, moral, and technological and can relate them to day
to day happenings;
b. are effective facilitators of learning who can apply his/her understanding of child and adolescent growth and development and
educational technology;
c. apply skills in curriculum development through effective PIE ( planning, implementation, and evaluation );
d. acts ethically and professionally and pursues continuous professional development;
e. demonstrates service orientation in the teaching profession by being actively involved in the generation of new knowledge or in
search and development projects of the school and the community he or she serves.

Course Description:
The course provides pre-service ELT teachers a venue to explore the nature of created and genuine ELT materials and immerses them to
the creation, use, and evaluation of effective ELT materials in the digital age. It trains pre-service ELT teachers in selecting appropriate
materials appropriate for the language skills targeted in a normal or blended classroom. Furthermore, it involves the pre-service
teachers in evaluating and adapting materials.
