INTRODUCTION (O):
Todays sport lesson is based on the skill of catching.
What are some important points to remember when catching
a ball?
(eye on the ball, hands move to meet the object, catches and
controls object with hands only, bend arms to help take force
of object).

Have students stand in two lines- pair of with student next to


them.
Have the two lines standing 5 meters away facing each other.
First object to use- beanbag, then small ball with holes in it
before using the larger balls once correct technique is being
practised.

skill
