ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES
Procedure for learning:
1. Introduce the topic
2. Ask if anyone knows something about the topic and would like to
share it with the class
3. Begin to read about the topic in the textbook and other resources
4. Complete worksheets pertaining to the topic
5. After all readings and worksheets are completed, a summative
assessment will take place, ensuring that the students know the
material (this assessment could be a written exam, oral exam,
essay or project).
Procedure for playing the Orff instruments:
1. Call students (by Spin the Wheel app) to go to an Orff instrument
2. Keep quiet and refrain from playing the instrument to hear
directions
3. When cleaning up, place mallets on top of instruments
4. When going back to seats, teacher will call the rows one by one
Procedure for playing recorders:
1. Call students by row to get their recorders
2. Refrain from talking and playing instruments when teacher is
giving directions
3. Students will quietly put the recorders away at the end of the
activity
ENDING THE SCHOOL YEAR
I will provide the students with multiple index cards. In a red marker,
they will write what they didnt like in class that year, and in blue they
will write what they liked. I will read through them when preparing for
the next year so I can see if there is anything I need to improve and/or
omit.
