Management is a process of planning, leading, organizing and control of resources to

accomplish objective efficiently and professionally while security is activity to look after
something from risk. Managing of security operation is very crucial present day due to
increasing of threat in so many forms to people, asset, information or the reputation of
organization. Security operations and management are an integral element of any organizations
operational management owing the unparalleled nature of calamities and safety threats that may
oblige as a risk to the operational continuousness of the organization. This poses the necessity for
an organization to have an operative personnel security program in order to control disasters and
security openings that may jeopardize the operation of a business.
There are several basic roles of security in an organization. The basic roles are Protect
asset, Protect people, Protect reputation and Protect information. Firstly is to protect asset. Assets
are the association property either in palpable form or impalpable form. Palpable form of asset is
physical properties such as money, building, equipment, and means of transportation and so on
while intellectual property is one of the instances of impalpable property.

Security necessities to make sure all the property is safe from risk such as stolen, vandalism or
even calamity.

Next are the Protect people. Organization involves of general public and the owner or
boss and the staff or employee. These are people who consist of with the business activities. As a

Thirdly is Protect reputation. Reputation is the main image of the business. This is significant
element in competing in the global corporate. A hundred years of brand can downfall with a
simple fault. Thus protecting the establishments reputation is one of vital role of the security.
Instance of risk to the organizations reputation is misconduct of employee with client and also
the thinning out of fake information or reports.

The most important differences between traditional and modern security is in the characteristic of
technology. The massive development in technology enables a lot of development for security
subdivision with closed-circuit television (CCTV) for surveillance and biometric
acknowledgment for identification.

With CCTV and remote communication gadget, the security employees have no longer to be face
to face with guest. It can be done from control room itself.
In the past, security was not a vital division in a business. The security organization was very
poor situation since the division has very restricted financial and there were no security position

Philippines Australia and also Taiwan.
