Collaboration Commitment Expectations
A quote from a great mind once said: As a teacher, these words have allowed the passion
to stay burning inside. (A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love
of learning, By Brad Henry). As a student looking back on what accomplishments I have
achieved this comment comes to mind. (One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant
teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much
necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of
the child. By: Carl Jung)
Introduction
Commitment is a word at times used to describe a personal characteristic about a person
and their abilities. It is a word that is also used to distinguish those who care and dedicate their
time when taking a career seriously. Some of us see commitment as a part of our professional
identity and it defines the work and the grit we utilize to get the job done. At times, I find it
easier to consider commitment as a priority and a duty to my students to make sure that I provide
my best to help them learn to their fullest potential. As we prepare for a new school year, we look
forward to being able to offer our school community a highly versatile web platform that reflects
the district's continued efforts to bring 21st Century tools to the forefront of education. Although
there are some areas of the website still under construction, we would encourage you to take a
few minutes to familiarize yourself with its navigation and features.

Collaboration Commitment
Clarity of Purpose is all about declaring our desire to be productive during our
collaborative time (Lopez, D. (2015). The result of this is to make plans that are action-oriented

in nature. This focuses on helping students understand the importance of collaborating with
others and being themselves. It helps individuals learn to voice their opinion and views during a
meeting or collaboration.
Action-oriented solution for each area
For example, a student decides to become the leader of the pledge of allegiance. By using
clarity of purpose you focus on the goal, without wasting time or energy. Clarity of purpose is
like focusing a strong source of light on your goal so that you see it clearly.
Respectful of Time is a way of using time wisely and making use of the time that you
have to be productive with making a difference. Using the time to collaborate with other
colleagues and sharing information to help an individual to better their learning or methods of
learning. Teaming up to make a difference in our students lives are some of the best strategies in
this particular respect of time methods. At E1T1U professionals are action-oriented professionals
who value one anothers time. We are prompt to attending staff and team meetings to make sure
that we are on target and performing to expectation.
Action-oriented solution for each area
For example, there are teachers at E1T1U who take the time to sit down and speak with
the administrators and staff to make sure that we are all performing to standard. We are aligned
to making sure that our students are on target and showing improvement in their learning and
understanding. Our teachers tutor students after school who need the help and assistance to
further understand the material they are learning. No two students will grasp the same
information in the same exact way so we strive to boost our students to learning in various ways.

Collaboration Commitment 4
Time Banking is a way of giving and receiving to build supportive networks and strong
communities. It is a well a way to help members some up with ways to successfully work
together on academic achievements.
Action-oriented solution for each area
For example, Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:30 is designed for teams from E1T1U to work
closely as they design instruction that translates into academic achievement for all. This time,
should not be used as a personal time for planning but set aside for instructions to translate into
an academic achievement time.
Professional Growth professional growth is an important part of all of our professional
responsibility. Professional growth is considered as both personal and professional, our goals
chosen and then selected from those developmental opportunities that are most effective in
helping us reach those goals. It is important that we should professional growth and
responsibility of our work and action to be a positive impact on our students lives.
Action-oriented solution for each area
For example, E1T1U professionals are open to learning new methods, ideas, and
strategies that will lead to greater academic success for all (Lopez, D. (2015).
Building Candid Professional Relationships is the natural expectation is that team members
might bring collective talent, but individual team members contribute specific expertise and
talents that form a productive, well-rounded team. This works well when collaborating and
working together to impact our students to further their education and learn the fundamentals of
working together and maintaining a positive look on life. We work together to form a working
unit that unites with each other to find solutions and better situation that need mending.
Action-oriented solution for each area

Collaboration Commitment 5
For example, E1T1U staff members are committed to developing strong professional
relationships with each other. They form a bond to work together with other individuals, team
members, school-wide and community-wide to keep everyone in the loop of the development
and success of the school.
