Virtues of Al-Kahf
Protection from
Fitnah of Dajjal

Abu Ad-Darda reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surah Al-Kahf will be
protected from the False Messiah.
In the narration of Shubah, the Prophet said, from the last ten verses of
Surah Al-Kahf.

Al-Bara reported: A man was reciting the chapter of the cave (surah al-kahf )
and there was a horse tied with two ropes at his side, a cloud overshadowed
him, and it came nearer and nearer as his horse became frightened of it. He
went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in the morning and
mentioned that to him. The Prophet said, Continue reciting. Verily, that was
tranquility which came down for the recitation of the Quran.

and they are my treasures.

Source of Light

Abu Saeed Al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
said, Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday will have a light for him
between this Friday and the next.
In another narration, the Prophet said, Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf as it was
revealed will have light on the Day of Resurrection.

It is named on the Story of young men hided themselves in a Cave and named
by Prophet SAW himself.

Its the story of young men who lived in a disbelieving town, so they decided to
migrate for the sake of Allah and run away. Allah rewards them with mercy in
the cave and protection from the sun they woke up and found the entire
village believers.
A story of a man whom Allah blessed with two beautiful gardens, but the man
forgot to thank the one who blessed him with everything and he even dared to
doubt Allah regarding the afterlife. So his garden was destroyed he regretted,
but was too late and his regret did not benefit him.
When Musa (alayhissalam) was asked whos the most knowledgeable of the
people of Earth? Musa (alayhissalam)) said that it was him as he assumed he
was the only prophet on Earth at the time. But Allah revealed to him that
theres someone who knows more than him about certain things. Musa
(alayhissalam) traveled looking for him learned how divine wisdom can
sometimes be hidden in matters which we perceive as bad.
Allah mentions the story of a great king who was given knowledge and power
travelling the world helping people and spreading all thats good. He was able
to overcome the problem of Yajooj-Majooj by building a massive dam with the
help of people whom he could not even understand.


[All] praise is [due] to Allah , who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein
any deviance.
