ASRiTM - Definition

ASRi is a system which automatically

regulates the crusher and protects it
against overloads.

Sandvik Rock Processing

The Hydrocone has a
hydraulically
supported mainshaft

The mainshaft is
supported by a
hydraulic jack
Hydroset
is the key
to success
Sandvik Rock Processing

ASRi

So.., why is the Hydroset

system so important?

Calibration
There are two ways of calibrating the crusher:
metal-to-metal and with lead.
Metal-to-metal calibration is now completely
automatic.
The system automatically suggests calibration
with lead when it is not possible to carry out a
metal-to-metal calibration.
The operator is led through the entire process
and is informed about what the system is doing.
If appropriate, warnings appear on the screen.

Crushing programs
It is possible to store up to 20 different
crushing programs.
A crushing program can regulate the
crusher in accordance with one of
three different methods:

ASRi

Alarms
ASRi has an alarm monitoring system
which monitors a number of analog
and digital signals.
The alarm list displays the current status
of an active or unacknowledged alarm.
ASRi has an alarm log which displays
all status changes for all alarms.

Sandvik Rock Processing

ASRi

Event list
ASRi incorporates a system which
logs a number of different events.
Examples of events are: Switching
the system on and off, starting a
crushing program, calibration, etc.
The events are displayed in a list
where it is possible to sort events
according to type or time.
