Air Outlet Selection Switch (1) - This switch selects the position of each air outlet. Each
switch controls a different air outlet.

Upper Body - Selecting this

switch will open air outlet (A) and
air outlet (E) .

Upper Body and Under Seat Selecting this switch will open air
outlet (A), air outlet (E) and air
outlet (B) .

Under Seat and Defroster Selecting this switch will open air
outlet (B), air outlet (C) and air
outlet (D) .
Temperature Selection
Switch (Increase) (2) The temperature selection
switch (increase) causes
the numeric display on the
preset temperature display
to increment. This switch
also sends the code for a
temperature (increase) to
the control module. A
single press of this key is
equal to one step.
Increment the temperature
by holding the temperature
selection switch down. The
size of step is equal to 1F
and .5C in the automatic
mode. The size of a step is
equal to 1 step in the mode
for manual heat.
Temperature Selection
Switch (Decrease) (2) The temperature selection
switch (decrease) causes
the numeric display on the
preset temperature display
to decrease. This switch
also sends the code for a
temperature (decrease) to
the control module. A
single press of this key is

equal to one step. Decrease

the temperature by holding
the temperature selection
switch down. In the
automatic mode, the size of
the step is equal to .5C.
Otherwise, the size of step
is equal to 1F. The size of
a step is equal to 1F in the
mode for manual heat.

Fan Speed Override Switch

(Increase) (3) - In automatic fan
mode, the switch signals the
control panel. The control panel
sends the signal for manual fan
operation to the control module.
After receiving the setting for the
fan speed, the control panel will
display the fan speed on the LCD
indicator lights (7). In the manual
fan mode, the switch signals the
control panel to increase the fan
speed. Also, the control panel
changes the LCD display. The new
code for the fan speed is sent to the
control module. Pressing and
holding this switch will cause the
control panel to function normally,
but the fan speed will increase at
the rate of scroll. The control panel
also sends the new fan speed to the
control module after each
increment.
Fan Speed Override Switch
(Decrease) (3) - In the automatic
fan mode, the switch signals the
control panel. The control panel
sends a code for manual fan
operation to the control module.
After receiving the setting for the

fan speed, the control panel will

display the fan speed on the LCD
indicator lights (7). In the manual
fan mode, the switch signals the
control panel to decrease the fan
speed. The control panel changes
the LCD display. Next, the control
panel sends the new fan speed to
the control module. Pressing and
holding this switch will cause the
control panel to function normally,
but the fan speed will decrease at
the rate of scroll. The control panel
also sends the new fan speed to the
control module after each
decrement.

Air Inlet Selection Switch

(4) - These switches select
the position of the air inlet.

Recirculated Air - When this

position is selected, the air inlet is
closed. The air will recirculate
inside the cab.

Fresh Air - When this position is

selected, the air inlet is open. Fresh
air will circulate into the cab.

On/Off Switch (5) - The

control panel will toggle

between OFF and ON
modes. When the control
panel is turned ON, the
panel will first turn on the
back lighting. The control
panel will then perform a
self-check. The control
panel will also display the
last recorded settings for the
selected air outlet, heating,
and fan speed. The code for
ON is also sent to the
control module. When the
control panel is turned OFF,
the LCD display will
become blank. The back
lighting will remain in the
ON position and the OFF
code will be sent to the
control module.
Automatic Temperature
Control Switch (6) - In the
automatic temperature
mode, pressing the "AUT"
switch signals the control
panel. The control panel
sends a signal for the fan
only mode to the control
module. After receiving the
setting for the fan speed, the
control panel will display
the fan speed on the LCD
indicator display (7). The
control panel sends codes to
the control module. The
control module turns the air
conditioner clutch OFF. The
control module closes the
water valve. In the manual
temperature mode, pressing
the "AUT" switch will

cause the control panel to

send a code for the
automatic mode to the
control module. The LCD
display will display the
"AUT" symbol instead of
the "HAND" symbol. The
control module will actuate
the air conditioner clutch or
the water valve. The control
module automatically
regulates the fan speed in
order to maintain the
desired temperature.
Note: If the fan speed is manually selected, the "AUT" switch must be pushed twice in
order to make the fan speed automatic again. If the air conditioner override is selected,
the "AUT" switch must be pushed twice in order to make the fan speed automatic again.
LCD Display (7) - This display shows the current climate control settings.
Air Conditioning
Override Switch (8) - In
the automatic mode,
pressing the air
conditioning override
switch will cause the
control panel to send a code
for manual control of the air
conditioning system to the
control module. The control
module then directs the
refrigerant compressor for
continuous operation. The
symbol is displayed.
Air Outlet Selection Switch
(Defroster) (9) - When the air inlet
selection switch (defroster) is
pressed, the control panel responds
by displaying the relative symbol.
The control panel then sends the
code for the defroster to the control

The display for preset temperature (1) displays codes when system components are
operating abnormally.
When a failure occurs, display (1) shows the letter "E" in the last position. For example,
if an error occurs and the system is set at 20C (68F), display (1) will show "20. E (68.
E)". A list of all the error codes is given in the following table:
