SUMILLA:
El curso corresponde al rea de formacin general. Est dirigido a
estudiantes de la E.A.P. de Ingeniera de Software con o sin conocimiento
previo de idioma ingls. El curso fomenta el uso del idioma ingls, el
aprendizaje de la gramtica, el componente lexical as como las funciones
del idioma lo cual conllevar al desarrollo de las habilidades de
comprensin y produccin escrita y oral a un nivel elemental.

OBJETIVOS:
3.1. Objetivo general
3.1.1. Introducir al alumno en el reconocimiento de las estructuras

bsicas de la lengua inglesa en uso.

aprendizaje de la lengua extranjera como elemento de
comunicacin en un mundo cada vez ms globalizado.
valorar el aprendizaje del ingls como medio de comunicacin
para interactuar con otras personas.

3.2. Objetivos especficos

Al finalizar el curso el alumno estar capacitado para:

3.2.1. Pedir informacin, preguntar y responder por la nacionalidad

de un extranjero.
3.2.2. Dar su direccin, nmero telefnico y su nombre, haciendo
uso de los nmeros y alfabeto ingls.
3.2.3. Referirse a su profesin.
3.2.4. Establecer relaciones de parentesco mediante los posesivos.
3.2.5. Diferenciar y emplear los sustantivos contables y no
contables.
3.2.6. Emplear adecuadamente las preposiciones locales, para
ubicar objetos en el espacio.
3.2.7. Identificar y emplear adecuadamente el vocabulario
relacionado con los miembros de la familia y dems parientes.
3.2.8. Emplear adecuadamente el presente simple en oraciones
afirmativas, interrogativas y negativas, largas y cortas.
3.2.9. Decir la hora y preguntar por ella.
3.2.10. Dar instrucciones y pedir informacin para llegar a un
determinado lugar.
3.2.11. Leer y comprender textos de complejidad creciente.

ESTRATEGIAS DIDCTICAS:
Las clases sern completamente comunicativas. Se usar el enfoque
global de desarrollo de habilidades integradas. En cuanto a
procedimientos se seguir el siguiente orden: demostracin, interaccin,
asimilacin y asignacin. En lo referente a tcnicas interactivas, se
recurrirn a los trabajos en grupo, en pares e individuales.
Para el desarrollo de las clases se requerir de una radio grabadora
permanentemente, y de un reproductor de DVD mensualmente.

VI.

EVALUACIN:
La evaluacin es constante durante la participacin en clase, aplicada
sobre una base vigesimal tanto en las prcticas calificadas como en los
exmenes parcial y final. Adems, se evaluarn los ejercicios prcticos,
temas de discusin, y exposiciones orales en forma permanente. Es
importante resaltar que la auto-evaluacin, as como la co-evaluacin
forman parte del sistema evaluativo.
Las prcticas calificadas sern rendidas cada tres semanas, mientras que
el examen parcial se rendir en la octava semana. Asimismo, el examen
final se tomar en la semana 17.

La nota final es equivalente al promedio general de las prcticas

calificadas tomadas ms el promedio del examen parcial y final
respectivamente sobre tres. Si el caso lo requiera, se rendir un examen
sustitutorio cuyo valor reemplazar la nota ms baja respecto al examen
parcial o final.
