Goals

Understand the basic concepts of mulitiplication. Memorize


mulitiplication tables for numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,
10, 11, and 12.

Unit Summary

In this unit we will cover multiplication extensively. The ability to recognize that multiplication is
simply a higher form of addition. Understanding the basic concepts of mulitiplication and
memorizing the mulitiplication table for numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 are
the two essential points of this unit. We may delve slightly into higher numbers in this class is
they get through basic multiplication quickly.
