Summer at Springfield
Many people are living over busy lives and we think that one of
the best things that we can do as a Church is to create a rhythm
over the Summer that allows people to step back from the
frenetic pace. As a result we run stop running many of our
groups to ensure that people can take a break from ministry.
That doesnt mean that there arent exciting things to do. Indeed
the simplicity we aim for means that there is much that is on that
we can do together.
Our All Age Summer series this year is called
Prayer that changes the world looking at people in the Bible
whose prayers, in often very difficult circumstances,
changed situations and saw release. We will continue to have a
staffed crche running through the summer.
Caf Connect will continue to meet each Monday morning a
place to enjoy community together and bring friends and family
for tea and coffee and a chat.
Many of our young people will, of course, be going to Soul
Survivor for a fantastic time of teaching and worship with 9,000
others; while earlier in the summer, some of the young adults will
be going to Momentum for a similarly joyful time.

PCC meeting
Pastoral Care
Co-ordinator
With the stepping down of Ann
as Pastoral Care Co-ordinator
last year the PCC decided that
the position was a very valued
one and that they wished to
continue with a paid member
of staff in this role. We are
pleased to say that the PCC
has agreed a job description
and a person specification
which are available from the
welcome desk or from the
Church office from today.
Applications should be made
by the 24th July with interview
dates to be agreed,
dependant on holidays, but
with the hope and expectation
that we can complete the
process by the beginning of
.
If you would like to know any
more about the role or have
any questions then please do
talk to our Minister, Will.
