Investigador, profesor y consultor en temas de educacin superior. Nacido en Uruguay tiene adems nacionalidad
venezolana y espaola. Sus idiomas de trabajo son el castellano, ingls, francs y portugus. Fue Director del
Instituto Internacional de la UNESCO para la Educacin Superior en Amrica Latina y el Caribe (IESALC) (Caracas,
2001-2006). En Uruguay fue Director del Instituto Nacional del Libro; Director del Sistema Nacional de Televisin;
y Vice-Presidente (y Presidente i.) del Servicio Oficial de Difusin, Radiotelevisin y Espectculos (SODRE).
Actualmente es Decano de la Facultad de Ciencias Empresariales de la Universidad de la Empresa (UDE) del
Uruguay, investigador nivel I en el Sistema Nacional de Investigadores del Uruguay y Director del Observatorio de la
Educacin Virtual en Amrica Latina (Virtual Educa). Es profesor regular e investigador del Doctorado en
Educacin y del Programa de Maestra y Doctorado en Administracin de la Universidad de la Empresa y docente
asiduo en varios programas de postgrado en la regin. Ha sido investigador y profesor por varios aos en
Venezuela, Argentina y Uruguay, y ha realizado largas visitas acadmicas en la UPR de Puerto Rico, en la UNAM y la
BUAP de Mxico.
In the last year we have been witnessing a true revolution in global education with the massive
development of open and distance courses (MOOCs) that needs to be analyzed in a prospective face
of education and new dynamics shaping and phases in the process of incorporating technology in
education. The MOOCs were visualized by educational technology foresight studies as slow
introduction into a hypothetical period of 4-5 years. (Horizon Report, 2012). However, they have
been a real explosion in just a few months and have become the most dynamic factor of distance
education internationally and a significant reference on educational trends and access.
This paper studies the incorporation of digital technologies in educational dynamics, changes in
institutional models and the logic of development of a dynamic focused on the development of
digital learning resources, software, hardware and building interfaces between applications and
equipment, showing the formation of a new educational logic. The paper analyzes the
characteristics of these modalities increasingly virtualized delivery of educational services and
suggests the emergence of a new form of education derived from new digital learning resources.

ABSTRACT
The traditional distance education, inspired by the British Open University, since the 70s, has been
widely adopted globally. Pioneering programs Colombian dating from that era and even though the
approach has achieved legitimacy is still much to be done. Access to ICT presents both
opportunities and challenges. Opportunities because through these technologies can achieve high
levels of interactivity and coverage. But at the same time face the challenge of global competition.
We will use the analysis of how the process of adoption of online education has occurred in the
United States, to present considerations about what we could do in Colombia, and Latin America.

Enfatiza en la alianza permanente entre tecnologa y conocimiento, para destacar los esfuerzos de
flexibilizacin y apertura que desde pocas antiguas se han efectuado hasta lograr que el proceso
educativo pudiera darse sin que estudiantes y docentes deban encontrarse en el aula escolar. La
educacin virtual como educacin a distancia de ltima generacin, tendr un futuro promisorio si
asumimos los retos de fortalecimiento tecnolgico e innovaciones pedaggicas.

Emphasis on permanent alliance between technology and knowledge to highlight the efforts of
flexibility and openness that since ancient times have been made to ensure that the educational

ABSTRACT
This paper shows the experience on the process developed in the projection of the training program
for teachers in the Specialization in Teaching Mathematics for Basic Education, which aims to
promote and develop teaching skills in the area of math for teachers in educational institutions for
primary, secondary and higher Education in order to be leadership teachers in transforming and
impacting in the student learning, in addition to recognize the mathematical discipline that provides
a field theoretical results and practical to promote and transform their teaching. At the same time,
this paper presents curricular aspects such as: objectives of the program, profile, duration, credit and
curricular structure, so on. All this in order to provide teachers-students the opportunity to choose a
specific teacher training integrating knowledge of specific content in a single structure and
understandable; likewise to guide teachers in mathematics curriculum development according to the
needs of their school communities based on the results of research in the teaching of mathematics,
for building relevant programs for teaching future teachers in training.

Educacin Nacional (MEN) quien delega un equipo de tutores frente a la necesidad de garantizar
educacin en las localidades de difcil acceso. Por tanto, este escrito constituye una primera fase,
trabajada desde una metodologa de experiencia sistematizada por los tutores, teniendo como poblacin
los docentes del contexto rural de Socha y San Mateo, donde se conformaron, dos grupos, uno llamado
dinamizador

The aim is that MEN tutors, to monitor the process of educational practices based on the new school model
for integrating projects from living place and accompany to improve conditions and practices. In the first
significant results prevails both perspectives-rural-tutors and teachers, who from the systematized experience,
make this process and analyzes contrasting element to a search for meaning and give meaning to the role of
professionals responsible for education processes. Concluding the processes relevant to experience that
combines the new school model and integration projects in light of the practices in this case rural teachers,
hence the need to make constructive criticism against the constitutive role of the profession and the
relationship with practices located in San Mateo and Socha.

ABSTRACT
This work, accounts for the activities to carry out the diagnostic phase of a research project that has
been working in Educational Virtual Environments Group, based on the incorporation of
Information Technology and Communication (ICT) educational processes, which focuses on the use
of Internet and virtual platform Moodle in reading and writing activities for students of second
semester of the degree in Mathematics, belonging to the Faculty of Education, the University
pedagogy and Technology of Colombia.
Among the activities carried out for the diagnosis are: the legal and regulatory basis of the use of
ICT in education stated in the introduction of the document, the description of the background to
the national and international level, the methodology is being implemented and the results of the
diagnostic test, which in turn allowed us to identify and establish the categories that will guide the
entire investigation.

del tiempo o la distancia. Cabe sealar que el documento presentado contempla parte del proceso
investigativo abordado con los estudiantes del CREAD de Fusagasug; y est hincado en aportes
tericos fundamentados especialmente en el constructivismo teniendo en cuenta a autores como
Piaget, Vygotsky, Bruner, Ausubel, entre otros, y apoyados en los estndares y competencias
guiados por la UNESCO y el MEN, los cuales dan soporte al eje de la investigacin, pautas para la
integracin de acciones que admitan la culturizacin digital y el mejoramiento en competencias en
TIC en los docentes en formacin y los estudiantes del programa de Licenciatura en educacin
Bsica, sin dejar de lado la dinmica del ser, y permitiendo nuevas experiencias de pensamiento
crtico ya que la educacin a distancia con apoyo virtual determina cambios fundamentales en los
aprendices como el aprender haciendo y forjando en ste, a un mejor lector ms que a un simple
receptor auditivo.

La Universidad Pedaggica y Tecnolgica de Colombia cuenta con una plataforma virtual que
apoya las actividades de docencia, investigacin y extensin universitaria. A partir de una
evaluacin de plataformas comerciales y de uso libre, se seleccion el Aula Virtual Moodle,
implementada desde el segundo semestre del ao 2004 y que en la actualidad es utilizada por
docentes y estudiantes de los diferentes programas acadmicos de la institucin (Uptc 2013). En
particular, la Licenciatura en Ciencias Naturales y Educacin Ambiental hace uso de la plataforma
virtual en el desarrollo de algunas asignaturas para complementar la labor que cada docente realiza
en los diferentes espacios de estudio. Sin embargo se convirti en una forma de suministrar
informacin, de evaluar, de realizar foros, de acceder a cuestionarios y de acercarse al estudiante en
cualquier momento del da para solucionar sus dudas.
El presente trabajo muestra los resultados obtenidos de una encuesta aplicada a estudiantes de la
Licenciatura en Ciencias Naturales y Educacin Ambiental despus de haber utilizado el Aula
Virtual, donde se indaga sobre la responsabilidad con la cual realizan los compromisos adquiridos
al utilizar el Aula Virtual en sus labores acadmicas.

ABSTRACT
The Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia has a virtual platform that supports the
activities of teaching, research and extension programs. From an assessment of trading platforms
and free to use, was selected Moodle Virtual Classroom, implemented since the second half of 2004
and is currently used by teachers and students of different academic programs of the institution
(Uptc 2013). In particular, the Degree in Natural Sciences and Environmental Educationuses the
virtual platform in the development of some subjects to complement the work that each teacher
performs in the different areas of study. However, it became a way to provide information, to
evaluate, to make forums, questionnaires and access to approach the student at any time of the day
to answer your questions.
This paper presents the results of a survey of college students majoring in Natural Science and
Environmental Education after using the Virtual Classroom, which investigates the responsibility
which made commitments to use the Virtual Classroom in their academic work.

ABSTRACT
The teachers nowadays require tools, which foster improved performance levels in the skills of their
students, this paper presents a proposal for creation of virtual environments to support classroom
teaching in its design that considers: the use of resources to improve process of information capture,
using strategies to improve information processing, a process that is achieved by knowing the
learning styles of students and teachers teaching, and the course design is done with order to
enhance the skills of doing, being and knowing.

ANDRAGOGA Y FORMACIN DE DOCENTES EN AMBIENTES B LEARNING

Este artculo presenta uno de los resultados obtenidos en el trabajo de grado en la Maestra en
Tecnologas de la Informacin aplicadas a la Educacin, cuyo propsito fue describir e interpretar
las representaciones que poseen docentes adultos en ejercicio sobre el uso de las TIC en sus
prcticas educativas, con el fin de disear una propuesta pedaggica que facilite su inclusin en
procesos de formacin B-Learning, modifique sus representaciones sobre el uso las TIC y
transforme su prctica educativa.
Esta propuesta se realiz desde una perspectiva cualitativa, aplicando a docentes andraggicos con
gran experiencia educativa encuestas y entrevistas sobre su concepcin acerca de las TIC y el uso
de las mismas en sus prcticas pedaggicas. La propuesta pedaggica consisti en el diseo de dos
ambientes virtuales sobre la plataforma Moodle: El primero, El docente y las TIC en aula
(Docente con rol de Estudiante) bajo el diseo instruccional ADDIE, en una metodologa b18

learning, donde los docentes con alta experiencia pedaggica interactuaron con cada uno de los
recursos disponibles en la propuesta pedaggica. El segundo, El docente y las TIC en Aula - Sujeto
- Espacio Acadmico (Docente con rol de Profesor editor).

ABSTRACT
The following article intends to show the outcomes of a research project in Master in Applied
Information Technology to Education which main purpose, was to describe and interpret the
representations that teachers have when using TIC as a tool in their educational practice in order to
design a pedagogical proposal to foster the use of B-Learning to modify teachers representations
concerning to the TIC to transform their educational practice.
This proposal was carried out from a qualitative perspective. In that sense, it was applied interviews
and surveys about the perception that andragogical seasoned teachers have about the use of TIC to
transform their educational practice.
This pedagogical proposal was about designing two virtual environments on the Moodle platform.
The first one, the teacher and TIC in the classroom (teacher in the role of student) under the
instructional design ADDIE, in B- Learning methodology where experienced teachers in pedagogy
interacted with each one of the available resources in the pedagogical proposal. The second one,
teacher and TIC in the classroom subject - academic space (teacher with the role of editor
teacher).

ABSTRACT
The globalization and standardization processes in the context of higher education, have brought a
reference of implementation ad usage of ICT (information and communication technologies) as a
means to form the society of knowledge. However, this fact demands a critical analysis about the
quality offered in this virtual context, and especially concerning the mode of the mixed learning.
This study shows a methodology based consistent with a documental revision and the comparative

ABSTRACT
Characterize the best teacher of Tolima University from the perspective of students, teachers,
administrators and alumni, is the foundation of the purposes of this research, given that at present
the University is permeated by the development of science, recognition of the complexity of
educational processes, the globalization of knowledge, internationalization of curricula and the
inclusion in the processes of the quality of education, which require the completion of such projects,
to allow strengthening qualification processes of teachers, a better understanding of teaching at the
University and the development of strategies for improving the quality of teachers in our institution.
Research will be directed from an analytical descriptive exploratory, based on qualitative processes.
Methodological strategy will be used as content analysis of documents originating from the
transcription of the information collected from a questionnaire administered to students and
graduates, and the interviews that were conducted for teachers, deans, department heads and
program managers.
With the development of this research is expected to provide concerning the construction of
guidelines for designing an evaluation process of the quality of teachers in higher education.

El estudio caracteriza el diseo de los objetos digitales de aprendizaje, ODA, elaborados por
profesores aprendices, quienes realizaron un proceso de formacin. Ello, con el fin de analizar la
influencia que tienen los dos modelos de representacin de conocimiento (jerrquico y sistmico)
que estructuran el contenido de los ODA con los cuales interactan los dos grupos de profesores
aprendices. Se comparan los procesos seguidos por seis profesores aprendices en las dos primeras
fases de un modelo de formacin de competencias que se adapta y vlida. La introduccin de los
ODA con contenidos estructurados en el proceso de formacin propicia el enriquecimiento de las

Esta propuesta se trata de una investigacin con un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, con un tipo
de investigacin explicativa-descriptiva, que pretende dar cuenta de cmo se manifiestan los estilos
de aprendizaje en la muestra de estudiantes seleccionados y cul es el impacto del estilo pedaggico

modelo de calidad y excelencia acadmica.

ABSTRACT
One of the concerns of the university today is to improve the quality of teaching, quality is largely
subject to the teaching styles that are assumed, in this way, it is necessary to analyze the impact of
inclusive teaching style on learning of students not only to learn the ways they learn, but to generate
quality processes in education.
This proposed research is a qualitative and quantitative approach, with a kind of explanatorydescriptive research that seeks to explain how they manifest learning styles of students in the
sample selected and what is the impact of inclusive teaching style in student learning. For this
study, hosted a sample of 153 students and 25 teachers of the Faculty of Schooling "FESAD"
Bachelor program in Basic Education Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia.

ABSTRACT
This paper brings together some reflections on the role of Moodle in the initial training of future
graduates of the Faculty of Education of the UPTC, which analyzes the implications of Moodle in
the educational context and the manner of administration of the courses in the process of teaching
and learning by teachers and students, also takes a look at the rate of use of the platform in each of
the faculties of the university and its relation to the nature of the programs.
Similarly, we analyze how students recognize and adopt the platform Moodle within their
classroom training versus reflecting providing support not only virtual or distance modes, but under
a modality framing the most significant advantages of its implementation.
The popularity of our Moodle is due to its flexibility and ease of use for users, it is therefore timely
tool in the training of graduates of the UPTC, because it is a project inspired by social constructivist
pedagogy. (Join, 2005) and has been positioning itself as a viable tool in higher education.

ABSTRACT
The need to address the updating of academic programs in higher education, leading to the
registration renewal qualified to supply them for a certain time; assessed and issued with guidelines
that emerge from the Ministry of National Education , the opportunity arises for the Bachelor in
Elementary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics, Humanities and Spanish language,
curriculum reform of the curriculum. This will include a new component developing four Area
Educational Projects Integrator (PPIA), which viewed from different disciplines allow to develop
teaching strategies to address real problems in training contexts.
This paper aims to show the experience in the development of the first areas Pedagogical Project
Integrator (PPIA), with students of sixth semester of the Bachelor of Primary Education, through
the use of computer tools to build communication skills through the web, while knowledge is
constructed collaboratively with the proposed real solutions to these situations in a particular

sometimes complex for students trying to address and deepen this type of topics, because from the
orientation of teachers, sometimes not be gives you the importance that requires, for this reason we
have tried to emphasize in some applications of linear algebra through a guide-workshop using the
software Derive 6, as a primary pedagogical strategy for students that study this subject in the

ABSTRACT
This paper is a product of a research project entitled "Evaluation of Problmica Curriculum
Structure of the Faculty of Education at the University Mariana". It was carried out between 2010 2012 and it was done from a qualitative paradigm because it considered the reality of the subjects
and their context, themselves and practical knowledge, under a social critical approach since it
influenced reality improvement and from a type of evaluative research because its purpose was to
evaluate the curriculum on its development phase. For information processing the tool Atlas Ti 6.0
was used applying a model of qualitative data analysis.
Presents the relationship between disciplinary, pedagogical, research and practice knowledge which
allowed a reflection in the processes of teachers training assuming that pedagogical practice must be
developed from a research approach affecting permanent task innovation in the classroom. The
results support the conclusion that teacher training is relevant if it transcends social needs of each
place of teaching practice; also requires pedagogical reflections through action research as a method
which invite to meet students needs, their interests and projections towards community or
sociocultural context, i.e. conducting research in professional practice in innovative ways for
updating the validated theory always from the context of its performance.

ABSTRACT
The school has become in an environment guided by the teacher for years. She/he is seen as the
person who imparts knowledge, keeps order and at the same time is a scene that intimidates,
regularize and limit the process of imagination and creativity. These are dynamics that have
generated a series of ant-values such as individualism and competence.
Following, it will be presented a series of positions and structures from theoretical approaches about
what a school is and how through this we seek to establish new dynamics of reflection for the
creation of learning environment, where it is generated new knowledge as of the experience and
the possibility to provide a reflection and critic analysis in front of the educative reality of our
pedagogical scenarios and be able to go through the space limits. Thus our minds and pedagogical
strategies will become more dynamic. In this way we will give value to the individual effort and

ABSTRACT
This paper shows advances about the research study on the effectiveness of the use of learning
strategies in the acquisition of a foreign language in the students of
the Degree Basic Education at the Distance Studies Faculty of the Universidad Pedaggica y
Tecnolgica de Colombia. The research study follows a methodology with application of
experimental pre-test and post-test and a control group, therefore, this analysis was developed on
the application of the Rebecca Oxfords questionnaire named English "Strategy Inventory for
Language Learning (SILL). Among the results of the application of this questionnaire was found
that the predominant strategies of students are the memory, followed by metacognitive and
affective.

This letter is intended to show the progress of a research project that arose as intention to inform the
educational community the work done by students in a distance education program of the UPTC.
This is how it was on the importance of knowing, organize and reflect on research trends that tipped
the development of various projects or work degree students degree program in Basic Education
with an emphasis in Mathematics, Humanities and Spanish language during the years 2008 to 2011
and how they have developed the research process, to find the relationship between changes and
restructuring of the lines that address the research training of these students. That is why consolidate
information on existing research in the program and present it in a creative way through any means,

and investigative work meaningful experiences that leave their mark on their way through college,

The teaching of mathematics has become in recent decades in a concern among educators
mathematicians, because every day it has deepened in search of teaching tools looking to improve
classroom practices in order to stimulate and enrich the processes that are carried out and thus
enhance mathematical thinking of students. For this reason initiative has been taken from the
Bachelor's degree in mathematics to enlarge the work of future trainers of the area of Mathematics
with the elaboration of conceptual from the course of didactics and algorithmic tabs, in order to
provide a contribution to the educational community of the UPTC who benefit from the services
provided through the UAAM (Support unit for students with difficulties in mathematics), this

Hoy en da existe una gran variedad de ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje (AVA) que intentan
dar respuesta a las demandas educativas actuales pero que, en muchos de los casos, resultan poco
eficaces en el cumplimiento de las expectativas para los cuales fueron creados. El desarrollo de un
AVA requiere de la definicin de una serie de estrategias didcticas cognitivas, en relacin a la
planeacin del acto educativo y de la expresin visual y formal del mismo, los cuales permitan
definir modelos para su creacin acordes con su eficacia en el cumplimiento de las intenciones
educativas. La presente investigacin busca apoyar con sus planteamientos la influencia de las
estructuras cognitivas en la construccin de un modelo didctico acorde a la identificacin de
los factores que determinan la creacin de un AVA.

ABSTRACT
There exists a wide variety of Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) which attempt to address
current educational demands, although in some cases they can be ineffective, since the expectations
for which they were created, are not fulfilled. The development of a Virtual Learning Environment
involves defining a number of didactic cognitive strategies related not only to teaching and learning
plans, but also to visual aids and instructional design for creating models according to the
conditions required for effective learning. This research aims to support with their approaches the
influence of cognitive structures in the construction of a teaching model according to the
identification of the factors that determine the creation of a VLE.

During the accommodation of the different aspects, which shape this project, it will be possible to
encourage for an educational change in the learning process and the aspects of its designing, with

cognitively. Even though dance class is not include formally in the curriculum, it exists truly
records on the need of it, although it is necessary the development of the art in combination of its

ABSTRACT
From the point of view of the teaching of the visual arts as a subject in the form of studies distances,
allowing decisions to be consistent regulating the conditions that define professional work. If you
want to optimize quality with up to work as driver of the teaching-learning process, you should
explicitly teach students about their own way of learning independently. This means that as teachers
reflect on our own teaching, using different methods for this process, to help develop intelligence,
creativity and knowledge based on the use of tools coupled with our experience teaching, learning
favors this course by integrating didactic. Thus, we can rebuild our meanings accordingly regarding
what is, what to teach and how to do it in a scientific way to make the process more functional and
more durable result.
This text is based, on aspects of importance in the teaching - learning through various media
developers, such as creativity and intelligence. This process in which the teacher must guide these
issues on the basis of the concepts mentioned above, using teaching tools, not to mention the
experience of teaching in this field of knowledge which will enrich the scientific culture of students
who are as teachers in their curriculum and have the opportunity to develop theoretical and practical

La presente ponencia tiene como objeto hacer una recreacin de la concepcin de la educacin
abierta y a distancia, desde dinmicas histricas, conceptuales y propias del claustro universitario
tomista. Para que, con las nuevas dinmicas docentes, se evidencie la impronta de lo que aboga la
universidad desde su modalidad abierta y a distancia, y su resignificacin, tanto en sus documentos
institucionales como en el desarrollo de sus prcticas acadmicas. Para ello, se har en primer lugar
una introduccin de la necesidad de propiciar espacios de reflexin en torno a esta dinmica de

ABSTRACT
The present presentation has as object to do a recreation of the conception of the open and distance
learning, from historical, conceptual and own dynamics of the thomistic university cloister. For that,
with the new dynamic teachers, the imprint becomes apparent what the university calls from open
and distance mode, and its redefinition, both in its organizational documents as in the development of
its academic practices. For it, there will be done first an introduction of the need to propitiate spaces
of reflection concerning this dynamic of education that becomes so pertinent for the new social
contexts; in the second instance, it will turn to the sources across a historical tour that will allow to
locate the different aspects that propitiated the emergence of the distance education and, finally, a
theoretical proposal of this type of education coupled with a new thomastic perspective that will be

Education nowadays permits to approach different perspectives of legality which give an idea about
the way to act inside a society with ethics and moral. This brings us the possibility of accomplish

in which we are. This is why it must be observed from many points of view because the current
human groups, in their basic institutions, face problems that fade men and womens rolls which
must be recovered because otherwise, there will not be a even a pseudo community whitout human

times, disguised like order, distract the individuals attention to regard reality. The problem has
reached the point in which many individuals act and behave wrong. Therefore it is essential make

ABSTRACT
Through this presentation we want to show to the academic community the theoretical and practical
elements, was to identify and characterize formative research In and For Research; consequence
of the research project, DIS 968, developed by the research group MEMPED, of Facultad de
Estudios a Distancia (FAEDIS), of Military University Nueva Granada. Its goal was to identify
and characterize formative research, in the principal academic programs for officers of the Armed
Forces and Police in Colombia. Among the findings gotten, it is highlighted the functional
description of the structure in the training of officers "in and for research," the educational tools that
enhance formative research, and finally the constituent elements, identified the appropriate research
culture for each school. As a conclusion, the instruments are described theoretical, pedagogical and
didactical, the ones which permit characterize, in a dynamic way, the formative research, from each
school and proposes the construction; of a second phase, which describes a model of knowledge
management, bringing together the intellectual capital, relational capital and knowledge capital,
own training programs for officers of the Armed Forces and Police in Colombia.

Esta ponencia presenta resultados del proyecto de investigacin Las TIC en la formacin de
formadores, realizado en el grupo Ambientes Virtuales Educativos de la Licenciatura en
Informtica y Tecnologa de la UPTC. Inicialmente se desarrolla un estado de arte como
antecedente investigativo que permite reflexionar sobre la importancia de integrar curricularmente
las TIC en la formacin inicial del maestro que se ofrece en los programas de formacin de
formadores. Posteriormente se presenta el desarrollo de dos materiales didcticos multimediales,
realizados para los docentes de la Escuela Normal Superior Santiago de Tunja (ENSST), producto
del anlisis de la informacin recolectada, que demostr la necesidad que existe entre los maestros
por una formacin en TIC, que les permita apropiarse de las tecnologas educativas y herramientas
informticas en la prctica docente.

This paper presents results of the research project "ICT in teacher training", the group performed in
Educational Virtual Environments Bachelor of Computing and Technology UPTC. Initially
developed as a state of art history research to reflect on the importance of integrating curricular ICT
in initial teacher training offered in teacher training programs. Subsequently we present the
development of two multimedia teaching materials, teachers made to the cole Normale Suprieure
Santiago de Tunja (ENSST), product analysis of the collected data, which demonstrated the need
that exists among teachers for training in ICT, allowing them to appropriate educational
technologies and tools in teaching.

Resumen
La responsabilidad en la formacin de los educandos en el rea de matemticas debe marcar la
diferencia cuando esta labor recae en los licenciados de matemticas, en cuanto al uso de los
modelos y estrategias pedaggicas. Estas se deben enfocar a desarrollar las competencias en los
estudiantes a nivel personal y colectivo. Adems, es una actividad compleja que debe articular, las
diferencias y necesidades de los jvenes en las diferentes disciplinas del saber, convirtiendo el
conocimiento en herramienta para enfrentar los cambios en la sociedad. Con base en esto, se
presenta el papel del licenciado ante la sociedad, el reto que tiene como formador del conocimiento
matemtico ante la sociedad del conocimiento; posteriormente, se esbozan algunos aspectos sobre
el desempeo en cuanto a los avances tecnolgicos y su incorporacin en la metodologa de
enseanza de la matemtica y finalmente se plantean algunas consideraciones sobre cul es el papel
del licenciado en matemticas.

ABSTRACT
The responsibility for the education of students in the area of mathematics should make a difference
when this job falls to the Licensed of mathematics, on the use of models and teaching strategies.
These should focus on developing students skills in personal and collective level. Moreover, it is a
complex activity that must articulate the differences and needs of young people in the different
disciplines of knowledge, turning knowledge into tools to cope with changes in society. Based on

this, we present the role of the licensee in society, the challenge is forming mathematical knowledge
to the knowledge society; then outlines some aspects of the performance in terms of technological
advances and their incorporation into the methodology of teaching mathematics and finally some
considerations about what the role of the licensee in mathematics.

In the development of subjects of online programming of the Bachelor Computer and Technology
of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia, has shown shortcomings by
students, knowledge and appropriate use of control structures, generating lost a high percentage of
the subjects even dropout, necessitating a diagnosis of the problem and a study where learning
objects are used as a strategy to address the issues in question, taking as reference the initiative of
the Ministry of National Education creation, use and ownership of virtual learning objects OVAS-in educational settings. This project aims to determine the contribution of a pedagogicalbased teaching models simulations and Synectics of Bruce, supported by virtual objects for
learning control structures. After the stage of implementation of the OVA, will select the most

ABSTRACT
The deal is subject to research interest since it seeks to assess the impact of the Theory of Structural
Cognitive Modifiability in the teaching - learning process of physical education students in Basic
Education program in the Faculty of Schooling Pedagogical and Technological University of

In this task, it is presented a way of assessment it called Pedagogical Content Knowledge in the
pedagogical practice of the teachers distance education, of general way and the Pedagogic and
Technological University of Colombia context. For that, first the CDC is described from Shulmans

ABSTRACT
This paper describes the need to understand how to set the teachers training experiences of twelve
semester of the practice teaching course in the degree Basic Education with emphasis on Math,
Humanities and Spanish language at the Distance Studies Faculty of the Universidad Pedaggica y
Tecnlogica de Colombia, through the experiences of the formation which are predominated. The
theoretical framework of this study is supported on critical pedagogy, from the pedagogical
knowledge, the formation of person and the social and educational standards.
The design of this research follows a qualitative study based on curriculum theory and critical and
social thinking, from the perspective of deliberative vision, with features of the hermeneutic. On the
other hand, the aims proposed were took place abstractions and actions arising form the
investigation which were defined in units of analysis. Finally, form the results of this study showed
that pedagogical research project developed by the teacher-training determines that they build
bridges between common knowledge, and structured
contextualize their
evaluate their practice and to establish the level of satisfaction in their performance.

La educacin en Colombia, pasa por momentos importantes ya que la preocupacin para mejorar es
evidente no solo en los contenidos temticos que se abordan en cuanto a la preparacin para ingreso

en las diferentes disciplinas; lo cual debe ir al mismo tiempo preparndose ya que los Estudiantes de
esta generacin cuentan con herramientas tecnolgicas de ltima generacin que requieren de
orientadores expertos en temas de actualidad. Lo anterior quiere decir que aquel que no acepte los
cambios, se ver obligado a abandonar su prctica laboral en la educacin.
La contabilidad de costos, tambin llamada contabilidad analtica, hace parte de la contabilidad de
gestin y se centra en el clculo de costos de los servicios y productos que ofrece una empresa. En
general, el sistema de contabilidad de costos por un lado mide los costos directos y por otro lado
mide y reparte los costos indirectos. El costeo de actividades, permite identificar su rentabilidad y
se convierte en una herramienta que facilita la toma de decisiones en relacin con el mejoramiento,
eliminacin o contratacin con terceros. Por otra parte, posibilita la optimizacin de recursos a
travs del control y una mejora continua, y es considerado uno de los mtodos que interpreta en
forma detallada los criterios de costeo existentes; esta filosofa se basa en el principio de que la
actividad es la causa que determina el incurrir en costos y que los productos consumen actividades.

Education in Colombia, passing through important moments since concern for improvement is
evident not only in the content areas addressed in terms of preparation for entry to higher education,

The costing of activities to identify and profitability becomes a tool that facilitates decision-making
in relation to the improvement, elimination or outsourcing it. On the other hand, enables the
optimization of resources through control and continuous improvement, and is considered one of
the methods to interpret in detail the existing costing criteria, this philosophy is based on the

Informality business in the city of Tunja, corresponds to unregistered business establishments in the
Chamber of Commerce and is particularly evident in micro conducting business as an alternative

El Objetivo general de esta investigacin fue el de Caracterizar los componentes del capital
intelectual utilizados para la investigacin en las universidades pblicas de la costa caribe
Colombiana. La variable objeto de estudio fue sustentada en las teoras de Eduardo Bueno Campos
(2003), Antonio Cobo Jimnez (2006), Eduardo Bustos Faras (2008) y Don Tapscott (2000). Para
tal efecto, se realiz una investigacin aplicada, de tipo analtico situacional, no experimental,
transversal y de campo, con una poblacin de siete (7) universidades conformada por 290 personas
y una muestra de 79 sujetos informantes, lderes de grupos de investigacin categorizados y
avalados por cada universidad objeto de estudio, a los cuales se les aplic un cuestionario tipo
Likert de 24 tems, validado por siete expertos de la universidad Rafael Belloso Chacn. La

confiabilidad fue calculada a partir de una prueba piloto a veinte sujetos y se calcul el coeficiente
de Alfa Cronbach, obteniendo un resultado de 0,952, lo cual es de una confiabilidad elevada. Los
datos obtenidos fueron tratados estadsticamente a partir del clculo de la media, la frecuencia
absoluta y la frecuencia relativa. Esta investigacin permiti confirmar la presencia de activos
intangibles como la formacin de investigadores y la Interaccin
entre investigadores
ABSTRACT
The objective of this research was to characterize the components of intellectual capital used for
research in public universities in the Colombian Caribbean Coast. The variable under study was
supported by the theories of Eduardo Bueno Campos (2003), Antonio Cobo Jimnez (2006),
Eduardo Bustos Farias (2008) and Don Tapscott (2000). For this purpose, we conducted applied
research, analytical type situational, not experimental, and cross country, with a population of seven
(7) universities comprised 290 people and a sample of 79 subjects informants, leaders of research
groups categorized and endorsed by each university under study, to which was applied a
questionnaire of 24 Likert items, validated by seven experts from the University Rafael Belloso
Chacin. Reliability was calculated from a pilot trial to twenty subjects and calculated the Cronbach
alpha coefficient, obtaining a score of 0.952, which is a high reliability. The obtained data were
statistically analyzed by calculating the average absolute frequency relative frequency. This
investigation confirmed the presence of intangible assets such as research training and interaction
between researchers from the human capital available financial resources and technological
equipment for research in structural capital, relations with other universities to develop research
relational capital and virtual repositories in digital capital.

ABSTRACT
The paper analyzes and presents the benefits of implementing on the UNIVERSIDAD
PEDAGOGICA Y TECNOLOGICA DE COLOMBIA as the model evaluation system "HUMAN
PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY - HPT". This model was tested initially with administrative
employees, leaving it as a foundation, to apply the model to all staff of the institution.
The investigation begins with a diagnosis, identifying methods and tools used to evaluate the
performance of the administrative staff, based on current regulations for public and internal
policies, objectives, and performance development plan of the University. This document presents
the methodological application of Human Performance Technology HPT, based on an analysis
micro, macro and mega, developing the following stages: needs assessment, cause analysis,
intervention selection, implementation and management, evaluation, and continuous feedback
improvement, to ensure measurable results, efficient and self-sustaining in the performance of staff
and the institution, based on the model proposed by Bernrdez, Mariano (2009).

Health management in Colombia began to speak with Law 10 of 1990, with the decentralization of
health services and the creation of the State Social Enterprises and related legislation; Public Health

ABSTRACT
In recent times, the world has been using Foresight as a tool for policy planning successful business
as an example we can mention Japan who recognize the use foresight as one reason for its striking
industrial development in the field of electronics and the automotive industry during the decades of
the sixties, seventies and eighties. Royal Shell Oil Company was the first multinational company
that used foresight in their planning processes in 1968, and identified a likely future scenario, but
highly undesirable, which later actually happened: the oil crisis of 1973. In Colombia, has been

applied prospectively timidly, for researchers concerned with generating consistent visions of the
future of the country and their organizations. This article attempts to motivate the systematic use of
foresight in planning work in all businesses nationwide, in order to cope with the global financial
and economic crisis. The ignorance of the functioning of markets, the difficulty of anticipating
problems, the slow reaction to finding solutions and the limited use of the opportunities, constraints
are often explained the disappearance of many SMEs, with the consequent negative impact in the

El presente artculo es resultado de un estudio que busca identificar los aportes que desde la
investigacin se han hecho en relacin con el desarrollo de las pymes colombianas.
Esta
investigacin permiti recopilar informacin necesaria que permite identificar la situacin actual
de la pequea y mediana empresa en su entorno econmico, con la cual se pudo determinar que
dentro las variables ms relevantes de estudio son: la empresa familiar, la prospectivas de las
pymes, el conocimiento de las pymes, la implementacin de las tics en las pymes, retos de las
pymes, desafos de la gerencia en el nuevo siglo, de igual manera se puede mencionar que se
generaron otros problemas por abarcar de importancia como son el emprendimiento, el
empresarismo, la innovacin, el pensamiento estratgico entre otras.

This article is the result of a study that seeks to identify the contributions from the research have
been made in connection with the development of Colombian SMEs. This research allowed to
gather information necessary to identify the current situation of small and medium enterprises in
their surroundings economic, with which it was determined that the most important variables in the
study are: the family business, the prospects of SMEs, the knowledge of SMEs, the implementation

ABSTRACT
The research presents an analysis of the literature on methods and approaches for evaluation
performance in traditional organizations, performance evaluations and computerized and web-based
intervention models to Improved Human Performance Technology.
It delves into the focus of the "Human Performance Technology", which analyzes human behavior
as the result of the articulation of a system of multiple factors affect each other and that minimize
costs, become more efficient and therefore better results for the organization, also offers a wide
range of interventions which improves performance, guiding the change management process and
evaluated the results in the creation of value and performance from the results produced by the
people who working within a system. The research presents the development of the methodology
of Human Performance Technology from an analysis of micro, macro and mega and it is developed
in the following phases: needs assessment, root cause analysis, intervention selection,
implementation and management, evaluation, feed-back and continuous improvement, which
guarantee a measurable improvement, efficient and self-sustainable in the performance of staff and

Se pretende hacer una reflexin de las experiencias desde el punto pedaggico sobre la enseanza
de la legislacin farmacutica, para afianzar el aprendizaje normativo para obrar conforme a ley y
no incurrir en problemas disciplinales, jurdicos y penales.
Se abordan en dos grandes partes: en primer lugar la responsabilidad farmacutica en donde se
afrontan grandes consideraciones tericas acerca de la normatividad y de los cdigos de tica

ABSTRACT
Reflections are projected part of the experience during the second half of 2012 where he worked
with students of Regency of Pharmacy a proposal, which was intended to reconstruct the history of
pharmacy in order for the student to address the issues of the subject of a deep and significant
technologicalcareer. We addressed three phases, the first diagnosis was performed to determine the
students possessed presaberes and enrich classroom experiences in a second phase moved toward
practical work worked individually and in groups, virtual and provide new knowledge and enriching
the professional and occupational regent pharmacy, and finally the third phase included the
evaluation of the activities and the analysis of the experiences.
The expressive experience was that students were able to understand the process of reconstruction
of the history of pharmacy. We present the conclusions of the work with the students, where they

Starting from a position of self-reflection on ethics in the "what to do" accounting professional, you

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) means that management companies should follow a
philosophy, ethical standards, methods and actions potentially subjective and objective evaluations.
Despite the apparent homogeneity academic studies (among others, Friedman: 1970, Le Mouel:
1992; Carnegie: 1993, Sturzenegger: 2003; Garriga and Mel: 2005; Guilln: 2006; Viera: 2009)

We present a case study documenting the experience of creating and implementing a learning
virtual object from a research project that aims to identify and characterize peasant production
practices and assess their benefits change adaptation climate in central Boyaca. In this case study
evaluates student participation in distance education research processes framed on the subject of
their professional as well as increased capacity in producer groups on the impact of climatic
variables on agricultural production from workshops. Based on practical experience building a

En este documento se presentan los resultados de una reflexin sobre los problemas que aquejan
actualmente a nuestro planeta en torno a la falta de una educacin para el desarrollo sostenible, la
cual nos permite describir en parte algunos aspectos a tener en cuenta para mediar dicha
problemtica. Encontramos que existe una educacin sobre el desarrollo sostenible como reflexin
para despertar conciencia en todos los habitantes del planeta y existe tambin la educacin para el
desarrollo sostenible que es la mediacin con diferentes herramientas para llegar a la aplicacin del
desarrollo sostenible. A partir de lo anterior, se da una muestra general de algunos conceptos que se
deben manejar a la hora de mediar por una educacin para el desarrollo sostenible.

ABSTRACT
The understanding of rural development has been the subject of various conceptual bets, depending
on the prevailing socio-spatial moment. It highlights structuralism and modernization that took
influence from the 50s to the mid 60s, the dependence from the mid 60s until the late 70s,
neoliberalism from 80, and neostructuralism and strategies rural life from the 90s and until today
(Kay, 2007). The new rurality is located in the livelihoods approach and has been widely developed
and studied in Latin America. With this guidance seeks to understand the complexity and dynamics
of rural areas, which transcends its traditional optics as producer and supplier industry food. Within
this framework the study is relevant if one considers that the rural context is precisely the niche
professionals working in the agricultural sector.
With a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative), both in the methodological approach as
applied techniques, this paper explores the concepts and theories of the students of the Faculty of
Agricultural Sciences of Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia, with respect to the
attributes of contemporary rural areas, with the New Rurality weblog. Preliminary results indicate
that this approach corresponds to the multidimensional dominant in rural areas also, is perceived by
the student community inherent in their study. However, an obstacle to their applicability in
education is the excessive specialization of the curriculum.

ABSTRACT
The work tries to present research results, which allows programs pose as a basis for the
construction of a rural development plan for the area under study. Its main objective was to analyze
rural tourism as a source of sustainable development for the community of the path of the deer,
according to their social, economic, cultural and sustainability. Because of this, in the present work
was raised to determine the socioeconomic and cultural characteristics, the description of the flora,
fauna, soil, water and existing landscape, establishing forms of tourism that can be offered and
finally determined the capabilities and possible services they can provide the people of the path of
the deer. The results presented were thrown qualitative research that describes, analyzes and
proposes possible alternatives tourist, it was established that rural tourism can be a valid option
environmentally and economically, family farming business has new alternatives from nonagricultural activities (new Rurality), which can complement and / or diversify their income, which
is an activity that integrates the entire peasant family from the cultural and protects their customs

ABSTRACT
This article is the result of ongoing research project, aims to reflect upon environmental practices in
public higher education in DC, from the point of view higher institution as an organization. This
paper is presented in three stages, the first discusses the perception of the organization against
concepts of social responsibility, sustainable development and environmental impact. A second
time presents environmental strategies applicable in the organization to achieve sustainable
development, in a third point displays documentary production found so far in Bogota public HEIs
responsibility regarding the environment. Thus, it offers universities a framework for research on its
social function in terms of environmental responsibility, making clear the need to implement
organizational strategies which foster sustainable development and the reduction of the
environmental impact that their activities generate. The study invites university building support
networks, leading to the formulation of environmental policies, the development of projects,

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to present the physical and mechanical properties of potato (year),
necessary both for the planting, harvesting, post-harvest and for the proper storage of the product.
To determine the physical properties analyzed axial dimensions, sphericity, roundness and weight,
and as factors of variation was taken into account the size and weight. During observation
comparisons were made which established market measures and classified in accordance with the
measures set out in the current regulations. The methodology used for the sampling was done
randomly in different commercial establishments such as collection centers, supermarkets and
hypermarkets in Boyac taking the city as the main center of Tunja. The data were subjected to
statistical analysis, which compared the different measurements obtained with standardized
measures are taken. The physical normativities similarly varied, so that the sphericity and roundness
increasing as the size decreases. The classification is in the regional market of the tuber is highly
variable, which does not take specific measures but it is done by visual inspection of both the

The indiscriminate disposal of solid waste in landfills or open field has created problems related to
water pollution, soil and air. Considering that most of the waste is organic, consisting mainly of
cellulose, the aim of this research was to develop a native fungus inoculum, mostly selected
cellulolytic capacity. To study soil samples were taken from native forest, soil and compost cereal.
From each sample dilutions up 10-4. Of each dilution was inoculated tubes containing mineral
Dubos medium and filter paper strip. In the paper strips were performed on PDA medium
subcultures. The growth obtained were subcultured in Dubos agar medium with cellulose and
subjected to the test of CMC amid Congo Red. The three isolates selected for more cellulolytic
capacity and compatibility were identified and tested for their growth on rice supplemented with
one of three different substrates. The results indicated that 39 isolates showed cellulolytic capacity,
of which 29 produced a halo around the colony, verifying cellulolytic capacity. Among these
isolates predominated followed Paecilomyces genus Trichoderma. Based on compatibility testing
21 isolates were selected (Trichoderma sp), and 62 and 66 (Paecilomyces sp) for the formation of
the inoculum. Mass propagation of these fungi can be performed conventionally using rice, but if
possible we recommend supplementation with basic ingredients used in the preparation of
rhizosphere broth.

no contiene plantas, adicionalmente otros parmetros fisicoqumicos fueron monitoreados a lo largo
de la investigacin: potencial de hidrogeno (pH), temperatura (T) y oxgeno disuelto (OD), se
realizaron mediciones cada 15 das durante tres meses para cada uno de los parmetros. Los
resultados preliminares muestran en trminos de remocin de DBO y DQO, que el tratamiento con
Scirpus spp logro una reduccin del 81.4% y 84% respectivamente; el tratamiento con Cyperus
papyrus alcanzo una reduccin del 62.84% y 79.3% lo que demuestra que el tratamiento con la
planta Scirpus spp alcanzo remociones superiores a las de Cyperus papyrus debido a la capacidad
que tiene de absorber por las hojas. Los resultados demostraron que el sistema es una opcin para la
remocin de contaminantes.

It is considered that the water is contaminated when they are altered their physicochemical,
microbiological or composition, thus loses its potable for human consumption or for use in
domestic, industrial or agricultural. The aim of this work is to evaluate the effectiveness of two
plants (Scirpus spp and Cyperus papyrus) to reduce pollutants from a domestic waste water sample
from Lake Tota (Boyac), the parameters are evaluated Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and
biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) in a sustainable biological system, this system consists of 4
treatments each with 3 reactors the first reactor contains Scirpus spp, Cyperus papyrus the second
reactor, the third contains the combination of the two plants and the fourth is the control containing
no plants, additionally other physicochemical parameters were monitored throughout the research:
potential of hydrogen (pH), temperature (T) and dissolved oxygen (DO) were measured every 15
days for three months for each of the parameters. Preliminary results show in terms of BOD and
COD removal, treatment with Scirpus spp achieving a reduction of 81.4% and 84% respectively;
Cyperus papyrus treatment reach a reduction of 62.84% and 79.3% which shows that the treatment
Scirpus spp plant with removals reached higher than Cyperus papyrus due to the ability to absorb by
leaves. The results showed that the system is an option for the removal of contaminants.

The onion crop is the main alternative agricultural and socioeconomic of the municipality of
Aquitania. The income generated by this activity is their main source of income. There is a planted
area of 1,245 hectares (ha), it produces 75% of the national total, 3,800 hectares are harvested
annually in about 5,200 farms with an annual production of 178,000 tons (t). Of the Cultivation
depend almost 20,000 people, it is the most important source of employment and income in the
basin of Tota Lake, it occupies 600,000 annual wages and it production is estimated to 100,000 up
300,000 million of Colombian pesos annually depending on the market prices.
Moreover, the long green onion monoculture presents several problems, the most important of
which is represented by the environmental pollution among other things by the use of seed affected
by health problems, application of high volumes of organic matter that generate unbalanced fertility
of soils, excessive accumulation of nutrients, runoff and altered growth of aquatic vegetation in the
Tota Lake, lack of technical management of crop health, excessive application of pesticides that
alter the physical and chemical conditions of the soil and water of Lake and deteriorate the quality
of the final product.
This paper analyzes the production of long green onion by smallholding farmers and their
environmental impact, which was analyzed for its current production technique in a municipality
where it went from an essentially peasant subsistence economy to an agricultural economy to
market highly linked with intensive production, with plenty of organic fertilization and irrigation
and very high consumption of chemicals affecting the ecosystem and in particular at Tota Lake.

ABSTRACT
Analyzed the impact, positive and negative, that the b-learning methodology had on the academic
performance of students in sound engineering program, 2nd semester undergraduate at the
University of San Buenaventura Bogot. A quantitative instrument was designed in the form of self143

administered questionnaire, available in print and via. Applied to sound engineering students who
developed the drawing course for sound engineers fully face mode, and b-learning mode. It was
found that the academic performance, measured in average scores for each group is similar,
however the group in b-learning mode is present higher scores above 4.0/5.0, confirming that this
methodology positive impact on student learning. Also found that all the positive aspects of blearning is greater than negative. Also found a decrease in dropout for poor academic performance,

This paper describes the evaluation of the impact of each of the phases of characterization, design,
implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Articulation Model between Media Superior

Research is about a process of design, development and evaluation of an interactive learning
laboratory of General Chemistry in Higher Education, in order to generate new strategies for
communication, by the teacher, and appropriation of knowledge by the student, change the
traditional teaching methods, opting for an application multimedia where students have the
opportunity to observe, follow sequences and contrast an experimental procedure or understand the
theoretical principles (scientific) that explain a phenomenon.
Likewise, we propose an educational strategy, technology and innovation that can contribute to
solving the problem of environmental impact generated in many laboratories for the inappropriate
use of chemicals used in the various processes and waste management. As objectives we propose to
characterize the educational context where they will develop the learning of general chemistry,
identification of previous ideas that students have about the practices of chemistry and its relation to
specific issues of theory, to proceed to design and implementation of interactive labs, and thereby
assess their impact on the learning process of students. In terms of methodology, the proposal
requires three types of research: curricular, evaluative learning materials and case study. The target
population will be college students whose curriculum is related to General Chemistry. For data
collection techniques will be used as the test of previous ideas and semistructured interview, the
activity log will be by means of camcorder, camera, recorders and reporters type.

The purpose of this paper is to show the impact of the blended learning method in the distance
education model. The Distance Education model combines the classroom education mode, also
called Magistral, with the Virtual Mode. These diverse education models are booming in the
education market and most education centers are offering them as part of their curriculum. The
main significance of this model is the use of the information and communication Technology (ICT)
that is complemented with virtual classrooms. The ICTs are a set of tools that allow the
interrelationship between the teacher and the student through the use of internet as support and help.
The virtual education has a great source of resources to develop the academic processes, such
virtual learning objects like: digital books, simulators, dynamic presentations and other elements
that help the student in the academic work and the development of activities proposed by the
teacher. The paper also presents the major elements of the blended learning and distance education
models as a hybrid system in the development of the educational processes and also as an

suficientes que permitan vincular a esta poblacin y que el porcentaje restante se encuentren

ABSTRACT
This paper presents the partial results of a study intended to determine the feasibility of establishing
the Entrepreneurship Center of Technological Sciences School of Distance Learning Faculty of
UPTC, as an initiative to support and promote business development in their students and graduates,
as well as help foster in students the skills of leadership, teamwork and an entrepreneurial spirit.
The high unemployment rates in the nation, according to figures reached 11.6% and in the
department of Boyac 12.5% youth being the most affected population, have led to nearly 40% of
young people should leave the department, and that there are no sources of employment sufficient
to allow linking to this population and the remaining percentage are performing different functions
to its formation, or are in the informal (CUT Report, 2011).

Se presenta y discute los resultados obtenidos a partir de una experiencia didctica innovadora: El
diseo, elaboracin y evaluacin de un libro didctico multimedia de ciencias naturales y, la
identificacin del grado de motivacin y aprendizaje a partir de la aplicacin de ste, en estudiantes
de grado quinto de educacin bsica de la institucin Liceo Sueos y Fantasas en Buga-Valle.

El trabajo realizado a travs del libro didctico ayud a que los estudiantes que lo implementaron
mantuvieran durante el desarrollo de las actividades planteadas inters y motivacin generndose,
evolucin conceptual; para los docentes la aplicacin de los medios tecnolgicos, invitan al cambio
de estrategias, mediaciones y didcticas que faciliten la comunicacin e interaccin con los
estudiantes y saberes, propiciando el desarrollo de creatividad, imaginacin y pensamiento crtico.

ABSTRACT
The paper presents and discusses the results obtained from an innovative learning experience: The
design, development and evaluation of a multimedia textbook and natural sciences, the
identification of the degree of motivation and learning from implementing it in students fifth grade
basic education institution Liceo dreams and fantasies in Buga, Valle.
The objectives were to identify students' previous ideas regarding the topics and determine the
conceptual from the implementation of textbooks. This research was developed with a mixed
paradigm, descriptive and comprehensive cutting through four stages: identifying students' previous
ideas, design and development of multimedia book, the book formative assessment and
identification of the level of conceptual evolution after using the material education. As a result, the
proposed implementation of science textbooks as the main tool to achieve in students, increasing
the motivation versus science through attitude change when executing the proposed activities.
The work done through textbooks that students helped him maintain implemented during the
development of the proposed activities generating interest and motivation, conceptual development,
for teachers implementing technological means, invite change strategies, mediations and teaching to
facilitate communication and interaction with students and knowledge, promoting the development
of creativity, imagination and critical thinking.
