Carbon dioxide (CO2) detection (fixed or handheld) is present at the workplace

Get informed about the CO2 detection system (acoustic alarm / flash light)

Dangers of CO2 are known

Escape route to assembly point is known
An extra breathing apparatus is present in case of an emergency
Alarm number of the site is known
Workplace is ventilated

DO
Use correct Personal Protective Equipment that is in good condition
Always follow instructions of your supervisor
Leave the workplace in case the CO2 alarm has been activated
Report to the supervisor in case of a CO2 alarm

DO NOT
Undertake any work if you are not qualified
Work on a CO2 installation without a permit

Always use your common sense before and during the performance of your task
