Procedure for creating a new client in same system (ex: 400).

1. Login to the system using client 001 and user DDIC.

2. Now create new client with client no 400.
3. Using the transaction code SCC4, first check the client number already exits or
not (i.e. check for 400 client).

4. Now go with display or change button in the screen.

5. Now go with yes in the next screen.

6. Now click on New entries tab (F5) to create new client (i.e. 400).

7. Enter the client no, description, place, logical system number and give the
restrictions as per the client.

8. Create logical system no for the client 400 using the transaction SALE

9. Now go with yes in the next screen.

10. Now go with the New Entries button on the screen and create new logical system
number and it should be like <SID>CLNT<Client number> (i.e. WISCLNT400).

11. Check whether client is created or not by cross checking with transaction code
SCC4.

12. Now login to the new client with user SAP* and password as pass.
Note: Here we can login through sap*and pass when the profile parameter
login/no_automatic_user_sapstar has the value 0.
13. Perform the local client copy using transaction SCCL from 001 to new client (i.e.
400).

14. Select the data to be copied by selecting the profile in the list.

15. Now you can go with Schedule at Background or Start Immediately.

16. We can check the log of the client copy by using the transaction SCC3.

17. Double click on the status text then we can see the status of the client copy in
detail.

18. Once client copy is completed login to the client with the master password and
create the users as per the requirement.
19. By using the transaction RZ10 edit some of the profile parameter
a. Keep the client as default while we login then use login/system_client
and give the value of the new client number (i.e. 400).
b. Defines the number of unsuccessful logon attempts using parameter
login/fails_to_session_end and keep the value less than tha value given
for login/fails_to_user_lock.
