The Little Prince is a book made not just for children, but also for grown-ups. There were
a lot of symbolism used in the story, some may think that it is weird but for me, it is meaningful.
If we would just understand each scenario, we will know the real meaning more than its literal
context. For me, the little prince represents childhood, the fox as a bonded relationship, the pilot
as the one who it matured enough to think, the Oasis as the treasures we value the most, the six
planets (inhabited by the general, king, geographers, etc.) as our exploration things in life while
the snake as the temptation that leads to complication, the rose as the people we care about and
the planet of the little prince represents our own lives.
One sees clearly only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye, is the
quote which inspires my life, touches my heart and enlightens my mind. It means that we cannot
find happiness through having a lot of possessions, but by what we truly feel that makes us more
human. It is true that the most important things in life are those we cant see by our naked eyes
and no material thing can value its worth, for the happiest thing in life is all about bonding
moments we share with the one we love, the jokes we laugh with our friends and the satisfaction
we get when we know that we are loved.
The Little Prince is all about the essence of human life and human nature for the author
wants to give us the realization that children are different from grown-ups though grown-ups
undergone the childhood stage. In todays world, we deal with different types of people, and
some of them are alike to the six planets which we can find acquaintance but not the exact
happiness we are looking for, the fox as those strange persons who became our close friends or

maybe the snake who will just make fun of us. Its all about searching for the things that could
make us happy.
We only live once, so we should cherish it and enjoy it to the fullest. We should never
forget that we should do great things to others. Being satisfied with what we have could give us
the happiness because happiness is not about possessions, its about appreciation.
