Montage
Description:
Create an inspirational Poster using Photoshop tools and Strong
Typography.
Date:
May 28, 2016
Programs Used:
Photoshop
Objectives:
Using Montage techniques, Create an inspirational poster.
Process:
1. First I found a quote I liked.
2. I drew out a sketch of what I wanted to achieve
3. I searched the Internet for free to use photos.
4. I masked out the respective objects.
5. After masking each object I color corrected to match the
nebula.
6. I generated some fog in Photoshop to help tie everything
together.
7. I placed a paper texture on top of everything.
8. Reveled in my own skill.

PHOTO DESIGN
Description:
An event ad announcing miniature enthusiast meetings.

Programs Used:
Photoshop
Objectives:
Using photography techniques create an event add showing
off depth of field and a strong color scheme.
Process:
1. I decided on a color scheme.
2. I drew out a sketch based on the resources available to me
3. I then proceeded to take some pictures of some miniatures
4. I brought the image to Photoshop
5. I got rid of a stand holding up the ship.
6. I color corrected the image to more closely match the color
scheme I had in mind.
7. I then designed using the pen tool in Photoshop to create this
design
8. Typed out the information and used good typography
9. Reveled in my own skill.

Brochure
Description:
An informational Brochure for a fictional company

Programs Used:
Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Objectives:
Using InDesign and other programs, create a brochure using
solid design principles.
Process:
1. I came up with an idea for a company
2. I created a logo for that company.
3. I than wrote out body copy giving an idea of what the company did.
4. Designed a three fold brochure layout.
5. In Illustrator I designed certain elements.
6. I placed the text where I believed it should be
7. I placed my illustrator assets where it they should be
8. I found free to use images for the project.
9. I masked the elements I needed
10 I placed them in InDesign
11. Reveled in my skill

Flier
Description:
A flier announcing a Graduate Leadership Conference
Date:

Programs Used:
InDesign
Objectives:
Using InDesign and the company stock footage create a flier
announcing their conference with good design principles
Process:
1. I sketched out an idea that had good flow.
2. I than place all my assets into InDesign
3. I drew out the designs using the pen tool and the square tool.
4. I placed the information.
5. Reveled in my skill

Logos for a fictional company called Accelerant Gear.

Process:
1. I decided on a company name.
2. I sketched out my ideas seeking one that seemed interesting
yet simple

out the logo.
4. I found a solid color scheme.
5. I reveled in my skill.

5. I then designed the business card in both InDesign and Illustrator.
6. Placed the information on the card.

A Event ad for a charity color festival to help the Color Blind.

Objectives:
Using the common program Microsoft Word, create a solid flier
for a charity event.
Process:
1. I came up with a charity event.
2. I found a physical picture I liked.
3. I scanned it in.
4. In Word I put together this flier.
5. Put together a color scheme.
6. Reveled in my skill.
