1 INTRODUTION

1.1 Attention

Do not disassemble the device. If the device is damaged, the


power supply
cables are not isolated or the isolation is damaged, before
unplugging the power supply, do not touch the device.

All wireless data transferring devices produce interference that


may affect other devices which are placed nearby.

The device must be installed only by qualified personnel. The


device must be firmly fastened in the predefined location.

Any installation and/or handling during a lightning storm are


prohibited.

The device is susceptible to water and humidity.

T360-102 has mini USB interface. Please use cables provided


with T360-102 device. AMWELL is not responsible for any harm
caused by using wrong cables for PC <--> T360-102 connection.

1.2 Instructions of safety


This chapter contains information on how to operate 102 safely, By following
these requirements and recommendations, you will avoid dangerous
situations. You must read these instruction carefully and follow them strictly
before operating the devices!
The device uses a 11V...36V DC power supply. The nominal voltage is 12V DC.
The allowed range of voltage is 11V...36V DC.

To avoid mechanical damage, it is advised to transport the 102 device in an


impact-proof package. Before usage, the device should be placed so that its
LED indicators are visible, which show the status of operation the device is in.
When connecting the connection cables (2x3) to the vehicle, the appropriate
jumpers of the power supply of the vehicle should be disconnected.
Before dismounting the device from the vehicle, the 2x3 connection must be
disconnected.
The device is designed to be mounted in a zone of limited access, which is
inaccessible for the operator.
The device 102 is not designed as a navigation device for boats.

2 BASIC DESCRIPTION
102 is a terminal with GPS and GSM connectivity , which is able to determine
the objects coordinates and transfer them via the GSM network, This device
is perfectly suitable for applications, which need location acquirement of
remote objects. It is important to mention that 102 has additional inputs and
outputs, which let you control and monitor other devices on remote objects.
102 also has a USB port for device status log output and entering
configurations.

2.1 Package contents


The 102 device is supplied to the customer in a cardboard box containing all
the equipment that is necessary for operation. The package contains:

SOS buttons, door sensors, ignition, etc. return two states : high or
low voltage. Digital inputs are used to read this information.
When connected as shown below, 102 disables engine starter when
output (yellow wire ) is ON.
