Terminal Report
on the Conduct of 2- Day Division Year End Evaluation and Strategic Planning on
Alternative Learning System (ALS) Programs and Projects
The Division of Davao del Norte had recently conducted the 2- Day Division Year
End Evaluation and Strategic Planning on Alternative Learning System (ALS) Programs and
Projects on December 21 and December 22, 2015 respectively which was held at the Jienous
Beach Resort, Tunga, Magnaga, Pantukan, Comval Province with the participation of the
District ALS Coordinators ( DALSCs), ALS Mobile Teachers ( AMTs) and Instructional
Managers ( IMs).
The activity is one of the important tools for the ALS implementers to help them
improve the delivery of its programs and projects towards the goal of increasing access,
efficiency and quality basic education. The first day provided avenue to the District ALS
Coordinators ( DALSCs) to present their 2015 Comprehensive Reports , discussed details and
evaluated performance of ALS implementers on the different ALS goals and targets.
The second day of the activity was focused on strategic planning on the 2016 ALS
programs and projects implementation .One of the goals of ALS implementers is to come up
with a series of activities this year in the provision of a localized, contextualized learning
modules particularly on the Basic Literacy Program ( BLP) and to strengthen partnership
with the Local Government Units (LGUs) , Non-Government Units ( NGOs) and Private
Individuals in making out of school youths and adults a functional literates.
